Another absolutely gorgeous day here, after the rain ended in the morning. I ran with Jim to get a haircut and then headed over to the Store. It wasn’t a crop, Angie had a book class. I got to see some of my favorite peeps and then around 2:30 Andrew stopped by! Good to have a visit with him! Some dinner with the ‘Rent’s when I got home, a little ride in the car, too nice to stay inside, and then some TV. Today is supposed to be a little cooler so I’ll get some things done around the house. 😀
I have a simple card to share with you today using one of my favorite sets! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I adhered a strip of Black Glitter Tape across the top. Next up I heat embossed the leaf from the Concord & 9th Lace Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of 48lb Vellum. I wanted it to have a little bit of a Spring feel so I used a Mini Ink Blending Tool to add Lime Green Ink to the leaf. I added it to the front and back, using my Heat Tool to dry the layers. A piece of May Arts Natural Twine is tied into a bow at the base of the leaf and then the leaf is adhered to the card with a few Mini Glue Dots. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Grateful Leaf Dies, I cut it once from Black Glitter Card Stock and twice from Black. Some Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive adheres the die cuts to each other and to the card. I still love that stamp set and am glad that I can use it year round! I hope that you like my card for today! Thanks for spending some of your Sunday with me! Have a sensational day! 🙂
