Paper Craft Crew 239

Hello my peeps! It was a super day here yesterday! I had the top down in the car on the way to the Store and on the way home! It just makes the day so much more bearable! Speaking of the Store, I did get my paperwork sorted out and worked on some projects. After work I came home and met Jim. He brought stuff to make for dinner, chicken, stuffing, mixed veg, it was quite tasty. He’s good too, he always shares with Winston! We worked on our crafty project and then watched a little TV. Today I have a ton of stuff to get finished up, but I do so love what I do! πŸ˜€

Let’s see, Wednesday so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I have been really into simple cards lately and believe it or not this one was pretty simple to make! I started with a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and ran it though my Big Shot with the Concord & 9th Say Hello Die and cut out the negative from the front panel. To theΒ back of the front panel I adhered some Acetate. The thin hello is cut from Gold Glitter Card Stock along with a few hearts using one of the dies from the Concord & 9th Lucky Dies. I adhered the thin hello to the negative space hello with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive and the solid and outline hearts with Multi-Matte Medium. All that was left to do was to adhere a piece of Solar White 80lb to the inside so that when you write on the card you can’t see it! I do love the simple gold and white and the see through hello! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! As always, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and see what I’ve been up to! Have a wonderful Wednesday! πŸ™‚

  1. So beautiful! I love gold. The front cut of the card seems simple and adds such interest. I really like the skinny die cut — a little different. At first, I thought you just wrote the word with a glitter glue, but when I read what you did, I liked it a lot more. Have a sunny hump day! Hugs, Nancy B

  3. I love this card, Justin. It is beautiful with the gold and the different hearts. You are such an enabler by showing this set in a variety of ways. It may just have to pop in my cart!! lol We were away overnight and it was totally lovely to be out and about near the beach in southern Delaware. I’m glad you had a chance to have the top down for a nice drive to and from work. I’m sure it puts a smile on your face when that happens. Take care.
