Spring Lace Leaf

Another absolutely gorgeous day here, after the rain ended in the morning. I ran with Jim to get a haircut and then headed over to the Store. It wasn’t a crop, Angie had a book class. I got to see some of my favorite peeps and then around 2:30 Andrew stopped by! Good to have a visit with him! Some dinner with the ‘Rent’s when I got home, a little ride in the car, too nice to stay inside, and then some TV. Today is supposed to be a little cooler so I’ll get some things done around the house. πŸ˜€

I have a simple card to share with you today using one of my favorite sets! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I adhered a strip of Black Glitter Tape across the top. Next up I heat embossed the leaf from the Concord & 9th Lace Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of 48lb Vellum. I wanted it to have a little bit of a Spring feel so I used a Mini Ink Blending Tool to add Lime Green Ink to the leaf. I added it to the front and back, using my Heat Tool to dry the layers. A piece of May Arts Natural Twine is tied into a bow at the base of the leaf and then the leaf is adhered to the card with a few Mini Glue Dots. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Grateful Leaf Dies, I cut it once from Black Glitter Card Stock and twice from Black. Some Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive adheres the die cuts to each other and to the card. I still love that stamp set and am glad that I can use it year round! I hope that you like my card for today! Thanks for spending some of your Sunday with me! Have a sensational day! πŸ™‚

  1. Isn’t it amazing how intricate that Concord and 9th leaf die is! I just love the way it looks. You did a fab job with the vellum and yet again another perfect bow. Great card Justin!

The sun is shining here this morning again. So nice to wake up to sunshine. However, the forecast is that this afternoon the clouds will roll in and it will rain tonight into tomorrow. My sister has requested that all us people up north that are no longer in drought put our minds together and send the rain to Florida where they so desperately need it. It’s race day and I hope it isn’t raining at Richmond Raceway. Have yourself a sunshiny Sunday Justin! Love & Hugs to you my friend. XOO πŸ™‚

Enjoy your beautiful weather, I’m sending mine to you. Rain, rain and monsoons, heavy winds, we lost power yesterday, and we have underground lines, explain that to me, LOL. And a high of 37. Well it beats snow

    1. Yes Linda! Definitely one of mine too!
I love hearing about your little reunions!
No, please keep your weather! It was overcast all day here. How do you loose power with underground lines, that’s impressive! 37?!? Crazy! πŸ™‚
