Well what started out as a sunny morning yielded to clouds for the rest of the day. I did begin my day with some bagels with Heather and Stephanie which was nice. After that I came home and worked on some crafty projects and cleaned a little. The evening was spent on the couch with the TV and Taylor stopped by for a bit before I called it a night. More crafty things to work on today! Fun! 😀
We are continuing on with Simple Sunday! This card is super simple to make and would work with pretty much any cityscape dies that you have! I used the Poppy Stamps Downtown Urban Landscape Dies to cut the top part of a piece of Basic Gray. My greeting is from the Simon Says Stamp Flowers on My Mind Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in White Embossing Powder onto the bottom right of the buildings. I used a combo of E-Z Runner and Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhered the buildings to the card along with three separate gold buildings that I cut from Gold Mirror Card using the companion Poppy Stamps Downtown Skyscrapers Dies. Some Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins complete the card! Like I said, super simple but I think it’s pretty neat! I hope that you enjoyed today’s Simple Sunday card! Thank you so much for visiting! Super fun card today Justin. Love the Poppy stamp dies, especially the fact that they fit over one another. Makes for a super eye catcher. I especially love that you are doing Simple Sunday cards. I find that it seems I am always in need of a simple card that I can put together quickly.
Sounds like you had a nice relaxing day yesterday. I love those kinds of days. The weather here today is fabulous. Sun shining, warm but not hot with no humidity. Will barbecue this afternoon. Nothing fancy, just burgers and I made some potato salad. We’ll end the day by watching the NASCAR race at Charlotte. I can’t think of a better way to spend the holiday weekend.
