Mojo Monday 499

It was partly sunny here for most of the day yesterday which was nice! I went over to Neal and Stephanie’s for a BBQ with Kim, Brian, Heather and the kids. We had a really fun day, it was just like old times! After Heather came over by me for a bit and we watched some TV and discussed our little issues! Feels good to tell someone else about them! LOL! Today I’m going to see if I can get some crafting done, it’s to be rainy here… again! 😀

It is the start of a new week and time for a new Mojo Monday Sketch

My card today starts off with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Oh, Hello Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp with my MISIT and some Lawn Fawn Fish Tank, Merman, Peacock and Storm Cloud Ink to make my background. I trimmed it to 4 x 4 and adhered it to my card base. Across the middle is a piece of 27lb Capri Blue Vellum with the ends flagged. I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Ovals Stackables Lawn Cuts to cut out a piece of Peacock, that is adhered to a piece of 48lb Vellum and that is then adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. I stamped one of the single greetings from the Stamp Set in Peacock, cut it out with my Scissors and adhered that to the card with more 3M Foam Tape. I’m still smitten with that awesome Oh, Hello Turnabout Stamp, it’s just so cool! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and lets see yours in the gallery! 1. Love, love. love the colors you used with this great set. Again you have displayed not only your artistic side but your unbelievable ability to use your scissors and magically make it look like you used a die to cut the “oh hello there” out. I have practiced using the scissors to achieve that look but have failed miserably. Oh well, some people “got it” and some don’t. Your card brought a smile to my face on this dreary Memorial Day. The Hubs is off to be in a parade. Hope he doesn’t arrive home soaking wet. LOL You have yourself a Magnificent Monday my friend. Love and hugs to you. XXOO 🙂

    1. Thank you Grace! I love blues and always forget to use them! You know how I like a little fussy cutting! I’m glad that I brightens your day a little! It’s gloomy here too. Making the most of it! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

  2. Such a cute card! Love the idea of these Turnabout stamps – I didn’t see the “oh hello there” one in the store – did I miss it? Would you ship to Canada?

    1. Thank you Michelle! I don’t have any of the Oh, Hello ones left! Sorry. But for future reference I do ship to Canada! 🙂

  3. Love your card today, Justin, using the Hello Turnabout set. Love the name of the colors you used. They bring a smile to my face on this rainy day…that’s a good thing. Glad you could get together with your friends and that today goes as you wish. Take care. Sending crafty hugs!

    1. Thank you so much HJ! I like that stamp a lot! I love when I get to bring a smile to your face!! Crafty hugs to you! 🙂

  4. Happy Memorial Day!

This card is awesome, that stamp set is so different. I oke the fact that you can make the card in many sizes and sti;; get the same effect.

I had an awesome 4 day weekend, sad to say its over. Alot of cleaning, gardening, and my scraproom is done. I still have a small pile of stuff looking for placement, but in general its done. And i got some play time in also.
