Paper Craft Crew 245

Hello peeps! Well, we got a little reprieve from the rain yesterday but it’s supposed to be back today. I picked up Heather at the Car Wash at 8:00, dropped her off and then took her back around 12:00. From there I went over to Sue’s to see her and Michael. I helped Michael with his new MacBook Air, it’s about time! LOL! We had a nice visit! From there I stopped at Target on the way home, had a little dinner with my Parents, spoke to Jim for a while and watched a little TV before calling it a night. Today, more crafty things to do and organizing! πŸ˜€

It’s Wednesday so it’s time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

In my cleaning I have found so many things that I haven’t gotten to use! To change it upΒ my card base is Black 110lb. For my background I heat embossed the stars from the Simon Says Stamp Seeing Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Fog Card Stock. The top half is a piece of paper from the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss 6×6 Paper Pad. Across the middle is a strip of Gold Mirror Card. Before I adhered the panel to the card base I tied a piece of Hemptique Black Hemp Twine in a bow. I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Congratulations Die form a piece of Gold Mirror Card and two pieces of Black 110lb. They are adhered to each other and to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. I added a few stars from the Little Things by Lucy Brushed Gold Sequins Mix and some Rhinestones for a little more sparkle! I still love that Congratulations Die, one of my faves! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for visiting with me today! Have a wicked Wednesday! πŸ™‚

  1. Very beautiful card! I really like the stamp set. I like the way you photograph the stamp set with your card. It gives a great perspective of the possibilities! Of course, gold embossing always makes the scene. I would think you would get embossing powders by the gallons! Stay dry…hugs, Nancy B

    1. Thank you Nancy! I got a little bored with the old way that I was doing my picture, it was time to change it up! I like the stamp and the dies in the picture too! You would be surprised how long the embossing powder last!! Hugs to you! πŸ™‚

  2. Justin,
Awesome card!!! That gold die cut, the gold embossing… love it all!

  3. Good Morning Justin:

Super Duper card today. Of course it’s the gold that really makes it stand out and I do love the way you stack word dies on top of each other to give them such dimension. You get them so perfectly aligned and with a long word like Congratulations that can’t be all that easy. All in all just a fabulous card.

I will be reading all the blogs I missed while on vacation and playing “catch up” for several days. I had a wonderful time but glad to be back home also. Manhattan was fantastic as always and yes, I would recommend “Wicked” to everyone. It was an amazing show in an amazing theater. The acoustics were the best I’ve ever experienced. Will send you some photos as soon as I download them. You have yourself a Wonderful Wednesday my friend. Love & Hugs to you! XXOO πŸ™‚
