SIP Challenge 101 – Graduation!

Hello peeps! How was your Memorial Day? We had a rainy overcast day, not great for any outdoor activities! I spent the day doing some things around the house and then in the afternoon Jim stopped by for a visit! We watched a little TV and I got to see some pictures from the party over the weekend. I had dinner with my Parents and Taylor and then watched some TV. Today I’m going to get some crafty things done and then send out some emails. It’s going to be a busy productive day! πŸ˜€

So Tuesday huh?! That means that it’s time for a new Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Graduation! I don’t know anyone that is graduating so I decided to go with a more generic card! I started by stamping the cheers from the Hero Arts December 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit multiple times onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock using my MISTI and Hero ArtsΒ Sof Pink, Bubble Gum, Pale Tomato, Red Royal and Raspberry Jam Ink. The middle cheers is cut out with the Coordinating Die along with two more pieces of Solar White 110lb. I adhered them to each other and to the inside of the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. My second greeting is stamped in Red Royal on the inside under the die cut. To give the card a little sparkle I coated the die cut cheers with Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen and added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins to the front! It’s a pretty simple card that gets a little step up from the die cut cheers! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Graduation Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and lets see yours in the gallery! Thanks for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! πŸ™‚

  1. Love this one Justin! You have the knack for putting colors together that I lack. Putting the sparkle on the center Cheers really makes it stand out. All around just a fabulous card with a “cheer”full message!

Gloomy day here today also but that’s O.K. I need to return something to Best Buy and I know it isn’t going to be fun. I double checked with the employee that helped me make my purchase and he said that returning it for my money would NOT be a problem. I know better. One of the reasons Best Buy has had to close so many stores is that the return policy is store credit only. Want to bet whether I actually get my money back or not? You have yourself a Totally Terrific Tuesday my friend. Love and hugs to you! XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you Grace! I do love to try different combos! It’s always a nice surprise when they work! It was a nice simple card!
I didn’t mind the rain either, got some things done around the house! I’m not a fan of BestBuy at all, I have had so many issues with them. They have the worst return policy in the world! I hope that you got your money back and that you enjoyed the rest of your day! Love and hugs to you! XOXO πŸ™‚

  2. Cute, and you can use this for several occasions. I love the mono colors here, they blend so well.

Today was a long day back to work, but its only a 4 day week so thats good. Hubby has been in San Diego, visiting his brother, it was hs birthday gift. He’s home tomorrow, I’m excited, nice to have him gone but yep, I miss him. Luckily you cant tell him that. LOL Gotta keep him on his toes!

OMG….I have no clue how you caught up on all your responses. You really are amazing. I need to apologize for my poor typing skills. Some of it is autocorrect, what a great feature, ( note the sarcasm) rest is I dont proof read because I’m in a hurry and usually tired. Sorry, hard to believe I have a MBA and I’m a nurse clinical manager. Sorry, I’ll do better

    1. Thanks Linda! It was nice and simple and I do love the Hero inks!
LOL! Every day at work seems longer that it needs to be! I Your secret is safe with me!
I always do catch up! I read them as they come in! I hate when I get that behind, need to make sure that I do them everyday! I love the autocorrect, it’s good for a giggle! I’m sure that you are an extremely smart person, no doubt in my mind! πŸ™‚
