SIP Challenge 97 – Mother’s Day!

Another Monday for the books! I managed to get a few things done at the Store and got to see a few peeps too! Dinner with my Parent’s when I got home and then I took a ride out to see Patti and Tom with Heather. We had a nice visit as we always do. Their dog Sam just loves me and has a hard time leaving me alone but she’s so cute…

She sits in the chair like she’s a person! She also thinks that she is a lap dog, that’s clearly not the case! LOL! I’m going to attempt to be productive again today, wish me luck! ๐Ÿ˜€

Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I have made a bunch of Mother’s Day cards so here is one more to add to the pile! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I place the card base in my Mini Misti and used the Hero Arts Color Layering Large Orchid to add my flowers with Mint Julep and Grape Juiceย Ink. The stems are stamped in Lime Green and the greeting in more Grape Soda. Another super simple one layer card! And just in case you were wondering, there really are Orchids that are that color…

I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Mother’s Day Challenge! Check out the rest of the Team’s cards over on the BLOG and enter yours in the gallery to share with everyone else! Thank you for coming by to see what I have been up to! Have an amazing Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. There are lots of times when less is better Justin and this beautiful card proves it to be true. I find that I have gotten so into dimension on my cards that maybe it’s time to step back and just simply get the message I’m trying to convey across clearly without all the fanfare. I’m sure this card would be treasured by the recipient. Great job.

Cloudy, misty, yucky outside today but that’s O.K. Lots of projects to work on inside. The hubs is transplanting the inside plants into new pots and we have already finished replacing the carpet runner in the mud room. I’m going to continue on my challenge of reorganizing my craft room – a never ending job. LOL You have yourself a Typical Tuesday – no problems, only fun. Love and hugs to you my friend. XXOO ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I have really been into the cleaner cards, I too have been guilty of adding way too much to a card! Thanks Grace!
Sometimes a nice rainy day results in a lot of productivity! Love and hugs to you! XOXO ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I agree with Gerri K that this is a beautiful card. The picture of the real orchid is amazing. The colors on your card are so bright and it really makes a wonderful Mother’s Day card, but is also very versatile for other occasions. Now I’m going to check out the Team’s card on that blog.

    1. Thank you HJ! I do love the layering stamps! Hope you enjoyed the rest of the cards too! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Beautiful, you match Mother Nature’s creation. I wish I could pack as much stuff into my days as you do. I get home from work and i’m dead.

Still cold and rainy here. Actually had to weat a cost to work today. Sad. I am dying just for little sliver of sunlight

    1. Thanks Linda! Sometimes I wonder how I did it all when I had a M-F job!
Soon it will be Summer and we will both be happy! ๐Ÿ™‚
