Explore the City Streets

A very happy Friday to all of you! It was another beautiful day, especially since I was in Manhattan for the early part of the day! I saw my friend Ella in the morning and then went down to meet up with my friend Chantal. I went up to her office and got to see my friend Maureen for a bit. We got all caught up and then Chantal and I headed out to lunch. We went to Empellรณn and had amazing guacamole and tacos! I managed to make it back to Penn and caught the 1:14 train back out to the Island. There wasn’t anyone to pick me up so I walked back home, only about 25 minutes, not bad. I could use the exercise too! Later on Jim came by and we changed the cabin air filter in his daughter’s car and got some BK for dinner. Taylor came by and hung out with us for a bit and then we watched a little TV. I’m going to make an attempt to get some projects done today! We’ll see how that goes! ๐Ÿ˜€

I have been having fun with stencils and the stencil brush lately so I have another card to share with you today using them! To my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I added some Soft Granite Ink over the Hero Arts Map Grid Stencil using my Stencil Brush. Down the left side is a piece of Black Glitter Washi Tape. I used the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies to cut out a piece of Desert Storm. The greeting is from the Hero Arts City Adventure Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped it onto the circle and two of the coffee cups from the same set onto Solar White 80lb. The bands on the cups are colored in with Copics and I cut them out with my Scissors and adhered them to the circle with 3M Foam Tape. The circle is then adhered to the card with E-Z Runner and Fun Foam. That’s it! Another simple card stepped up a little with the fun stenciled background! I hope that you like today’s card! Thanks so much for stopping by and spending some of your Friday here! Have a fantastic day! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. This card would be a great one to send to you, since you love your coffee and to explore. It brought a smile to my face. I love the pale stenciled background with the black washi and the little coffee cups. Your fussy cutting is always amazing. Glad you got to the City to see your friends. Take care and have a super Friday.

    1. Yes HJ, you are absolutely right! Glad that I made you smile! Hope all is good by you! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Hi Justin,
LOVE this card!! The stenciling is perfect for an exploring card. The coffee cups are adorable. Perfect card!

  3. Hi Justin!

I really love my stencils! Your card is fabulous and the stencils are such fun to work with. In addition, when you use them with the paste and add glitter to it – yahoo – sparkle, dimension and all that glitters…………

Glad you got to spend some time in the City. It sounds like you had a fantastic Friday and that’s wonderful. Toni-Lynn is here and she worked her butt off finishing organizing my craft room. Now I feel like perhaps I have the room to create instead of making more of a mess. LOL Sorry to be so late but we worked getting this stuff done because she leaves in the morning. Love & Hugs to you, XXOO ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Hello Grace!
I am really enjoying my stencils too! I like them with paste but this way with the brush cleanup is way easier!
I did have a good day! I need to get out more! LOL! I’m so glad that you had help! Tell her I said hello! I hope that you do get to create more!! Love and hugs to you! XOXO ๐Ÿ™‚
