Paper Craft Crew 248

It was another hot one here yesterday but I’m not complaining! It’s supposed to be cooler today, but hopefully it won’t stay that way! I puttered around in the morning and in the afternoon I went over to Stephanie’s to dangle my legs in the pool for a while! After that I came back home and Jim stopped by around 5:00. We went next door to see my Parent’s for a bit and then ran to Lowes to look at pond stuff. A little TV before bed and that was my day! 😀

Let’s see… Wednesday and we have a new Paper Craft Crew challenge for you…

As soon as I saw this I knew exactly what I wanted to do! To create my background I stamped the images from the Concord & 9th Many Mandalas Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Aquatic and Green Apple Hybrid Ink using my MISTI onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. That is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the greeting I stamped the wishing you onto the card base in Black and then the rest is heat embossed in Hero Arts White onto a piece of Black 110lb. I cut the end on an angle and adhered it to the card with 3M Foam Tape. I hoarded some of the Pretty Pink Posh Share Handmade Kindness Sequins Mix and the colors worked perfectly with the ink so I added a few to complete the card! I love the green and blue together and the mandalas make a nice background! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Inspiration Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! I thank you for stopping by today! Have yourself a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

  1. Good morning, Justin. Your card is so pretty in those colors. The mandalas make a beautiful pattern. I, too, like the warmer weather. We had thunder earlier this morning, no rain and now the sun is out, but cooler today. Enjoy your day, my friend.

    1. Hi HJ! Thank you! I do like that Stamp Set and the fact that you can do each layer in a different color! Glad that your weather cooled down! 🙂

  2. What a great card to send to a friend for absolutely no reason at all. I often think those are the BEST cards to send because they are a nice surprise in the mail nestled among the bills. Love the color combo in your card today.

The heat is gone today. It will be in the 70’s with a ton of sunshine! A great day to finish washing the outside of the windows. My oldest daughter is coming Thursday night and Friday to help me finish reorganizing my craft room. Yeah! She is a super organizer and has the energy I lack these days. You have yourself a Whimsical Wednesday my friend. Love and hugs to you! XXOO 🙂

    1. Thank you Grace! I agree, a just because card is the best kind to receive!
I’m glad that you had your daughter there to help out! It’s always easier to do things when you have company! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

  3. You are really getting your money out of that stamp set. This is another beauty.

Only in Chicago can you go from 90 hot humid down to 66 in less then 3 hours. We had terrible storms ths afternoon, alot of damage and flooding. Its nice now, blue sky, few clouds and that beautiful pink sunset. i actually turned the air off and opened the house up to get some fresh air.

    1. I love when I can use a set a lot! Feels so good Linda! LOL! Thanks!
We have the same weather here sometimes. Mother Nature is a crazy lady when she wants to be! 🙂
