Quick & Bright Hello Flowers

Thankfully the rain has moved to Sunday now so we enjoyed another nice day yesterday! I did get a few things done in the morning and started my list of what I need to get done for the upcoming week. Dinner with the Parents as usual and then Taylor came by and we watched some TV before Heather stopped by and picked us up to run a few errands with her. She is off to Florida for a few days to see George’s Mom. I wish that I was heading somewhere for a few days! 😀

Today I have a super simple card using a really cool stamp! That stamp is the Concord & 9th Flower Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp. I used my MISTI and stamped it in Fresh Lavender, Peachy Keen, Sunflower and Carrot on a piece of Solar White 80lb. The leaves are stamped in Jalapeño and the piece is trimmed to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, it’s adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the hello die from the Concord & 9th Orange You Sweet Dies to cut out a piece of Black 110lb and adhered it to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Love the Turnabout Stamps, they make quick work of fun backgrounds! How nice would it be to whip up a few of these cards and give them as a set to someone?! I hope that you like today’s card! Thanks for stopping by! Have a sensational Saturday! 🙂

  3. Gorgeous, very summery.

Last night was horrendous here. Started with the flooding heavy rain around 910pm and never let up. We lost power, thank god Com Ed installed smart grids to prevent outages. Waste of my money, LOL we never lost power in 23 years here until they started installing the smart grids. I admire the Amish but I could never live in their world. Hot humid and no power until 7am. I did do alot of stamping last night, I have so many images now to color, just took out the Misti and black ink and went to town. I will say my piles of “To be used has gone down,” LOL. Staming by candlelight, fun but I did not dare try making anything with colored ink.

Take care, more rain heading in, and our main road out of my subdivision collapsed last night. I can hardly
wait to see what this round brings.

    1. Thanks Linda!
You are having some really bad weather there! I couldn’t live without power either! Glad that you got so much accomplished!! LOL! Yes stamping by candlelight is one thing, coloring, ummm, nope!
We have had really bad rain all morning today. Thanks for sending it along! LOL! 🙂
