Simple Watercolor Hello

Yesterday was another one of those I imagined I would get more done that I actually did days. I have been having way too many of those lately, that needs to change! I did run a few errands with Heather in the afternoon. She made George and I a late lunch and after that I came back home and worked on my card for today. I will definitely be more productive today! If I say it it will happen! LOL! πŸ˜€

I have another Simple Sunday card to share with you today. I started out by using my Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors to add three stripes of color to a piece of Arches 140lb Cold Press Watercolor Paper. I did set it aside to dry and watched a little TV but it was getting ready to rain here so it was a little on the damp side and I grew impatient! The drying time was sped up with my Heat Tool! The flower, leaves and greeting are from the Simon Says Stamp Handwritten Floral Greetings Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Onyx Black. I did mask the flower to get the leaves a little closer to it. All that was left to do was to use Tombo Extreme Adhesive to adhered it to a card base of Ivory 110lb Card Stock. A simple card that was actually inspired by a shirt that I saw in a store the other day! I hope that you like today’s Simple Sunday card! Thank you for stopping by! Have a simply wonderful Sunday! πŸ™‚

  1. Beautiful simplicity! I like the black image on that pretty watercolor combination.

  2. Very nice card and color combo. The handwritten greetings really adds to this card.

  3. I LOVE it Justin! How did you ever get your watercolor rectangles to be so perfectly sized the same? Did you make a stencil or something? The color combination is fabulous and the stamping with the Versa-fine really does accentuate the beauty of the water colors. Just a perfect card!

If you really want to have a productive day the first thing is NOT to turn the television on. Instead put some music on and sing while you do the housework or whatever it is that needs doing. If I turn on a TV during the day I might as well go back to bed because I get wound up with whatever is on and that is definitely the end of anything I was planning on getting done. LOL I guess maybe I’m just too easily distracted. Love & Hugs and have a Super Sunday my friend! XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Grace! I got lucky with the rectangles! They were freehand!! Would never happen again!
LOL! Yes, I know I need to stay away from the TV! Netflix is my undoing! I love to binge watch a series! Love and hugs to you! XOXO πŸ™‚
