Freshly Made Sketches 299

That was a very quiet Wednesday. I guess they are good to have every so often. Taylor did come by in the evening and we watched a movie. This morning I do have a bunch of things to do and some errands to run. What are you up to today?! πŸ˜€

Another thing that I did do yesterday was make my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…

To start my card I adhered a piece of Desert Storm 80lb to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. On the left is a piece of paper from the Crate Paper Story Teller 6×6 Paper Pad cut into strips to match the sketch. The large you is cut from a piece of Black 110lb using the Simon Says Stamp Big You Die, it’s adhered to the card with Multi-Matte Medium. Onto another piece of Black I heat embossed the hello from the Simon Says Stamp I See You Photopolymer Stamp Set and adhered that to the card with 3D Foam Squares. A simple card with one of my favorite types of pattern paper, a map! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge! Thank you for coming by! Have an amazing Thursday! πŸ™‚

  1. Very simple but effective card Justin. It was pretty quiet here yesterday also mostly because it was hot and sticky outside. Ran the A/C and caught up on a bunch of those little 10 minute chores like filing and going through a pile of mail, etc. So, I guess I accomplished something. Worked on some Christmas cards last night while watching Big Bang Theory reruns. Their still funny even the second time around. Hope you have fun at Thirsty Thursday tonight. Love and hugs to you my friend! XXOO πŸ™‚
