Magic Unicorn – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th

Another productive day yesterday! I got a lot of things checked off my to-do list and enjoyed the weather. It’s supposed to be rainy here this morning but clear up by the afternoon. Last night was a relaxing TV and read a book kind of night. Today I have some more around the house things to do and then when the weather clears up I think I will go and take a ride somewhere! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time for my Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! You can also see this post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog at 11:00AM today. Be sure and stop by there too! It’s Concord & 9th’s 2 year anniversary this month so they will have lots of fun things panned! Look forward to celebrating along with them!

My card starts with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I heat embossed the Concord & 9th Sunshine Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp with Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Soft Sky and trimmed it to cover the front of the card. The unicorn is from the Concord & 9th Unicorn Awesomeness Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored in the horn, mane, tail and hooves with Copics and used the Coordinating Dies to cut it out. My clouds are cut out with another one of the Dies from the Unicorn Set. I adhered the back one with E-Z Runner and the top one with 3M Foam Tape. The unicorn is added and the greeting, also from the Unicorn Set is stamped in the lower left. That unicorn really is a great image and I especially like him with the sun rays and clouds! I hope that you like the card for my August Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog!ย Donโ€™t forget that you can follow us onย Instagramย andย Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on August 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you for that one and help us celebrate two years of fantastic and innovative products from Concord & 9th! 1. Hi Justin:
That is the prettiest Unicorn stamp I have ever seen! I love the way you have it standing in the “clouds” with the sun rays behind it. Absolutely beautiful and I know some little and some not so little girls that would love this card. After all, Unicorns are real if you believe in them right? LOL
Sounds like you are accomplishing a lot more then I do on a daily basis. Yeah for you. Today is our wedding anniversary but the weather forecast for this afternoon, tonight and especially tomorrow (heavy rain, thunder, lightning and possible hail) will keep us at home so we may go out and celebrate up the coast on Monday. I cooked all morning so that if we lose electricity we will be able to eat a decent meal regardless of the weather. You have yourself a Sensational Saturday my friend. Love and hugs to you, XXOO ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Hello Grace!
Thanks! I do love that unicorn, so neat! Yes, they are real as long as you believe!
I try to get a lot done, doesn’t always work out! LOL! You can celebrate anytime that you want! You are a good planner!! Hope that your power stayed on and that you had a great day! Love and hugs! XOXO ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Your unicorn made me smile, Justin. It is a beautiful unicorn and I love the clouds and gold embossed sun behind it. So cool! Our weather was a bit cooler and windy today. I was working on a paper craft project, so weather is insignificant when I’m having fun in my craft room. I hope you enjoyed your day!

    1. Yay! That makes me very happy HJ! Thanks! We have had cooler too, but still nice so I’ll take it! I too try to reserve rainy days for crafting! Hope you had a great day! ๐Ÿ™‚
