Oh Happy Day Balloons

I have been wanting to have a lazy Sunday morning for a while so that’s just what I had this morning! I woke up around 8:00 but laid in bed reading Apple News on my iPad. A good way to start the day. Yesterday was nice, Taylor came by in the evening and we grabbed some dinner. She was off to Manhattan with some friends after that. I watched TV and tried to find a book to read. Any suggestions for a really good book? I’m waiting for the new Dan Brown one but that’s not until October! How is your weekend going? πŸ˜€

Ok, I apologize for my obesession with the Concord & 9th Happy Balloons Set! I have another card to share with you today using it! It’s such a great set for quick cards and just some stamping! I do love to just do some stamping! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the balloons from the set in JalapeΓ±o, Mermaid and Sugarplum in the upper left corner. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Enjoy it All Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Black Licorice using my Mini MISTI, I like to use to the MISTI to make sure that my sentiments are lined up! For the strings I used a Coptic Multi-liner and my ruler to draw them in. Some Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst, Lucky and Sea Breeze Sequins add a little sparkle and finish the card. Another quick simple and fun card with not too many supplies! I hope that you like today’s card! Thanks for spending some of your Sunday with me! Enjoy the rest of your day! πŸ™‚

  5. David Baldacci is an excellent author, I enjoy his books but love Dan Brown. I torture myself by waiting till his latest is in paperback, muuuch later than October, lol, read his last one in a day and a half (not much else got accomplished), also enjoy Sara Paretski, but been awhile since she published. I love the bright colours and sequins on your card, we can never have enough balloons, they make us smile.

    1. I like him too but Dan is a great author! I don’t think that I could wait that long! I love to get lost in a book for a long time! Glad that you like the card! πŸ™‚
