SIP Challenge 113 – Back to School!

Home / Blog / SIP Challenge 113 – Back to School!

Well, I did get a lot accomplished yesterday! Most of it was in front of the computer, not the best way to spend a good part of the day but it needed to get done! The kiddies were at my Parent’s so I went over there for a while and saw them. We all had dinner together and then Taylor stopped by my house for a bit. Today, more computer stuff to get accomplished, JOY! 😀

It’s Tuesday and that means that it’s time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I kept my card super simple and got to use two stamp sets that have been waiting to see ink for a long time! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the greeting from the Mama Elephant Words Defined Photopolymer Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black using my Mini MISTI so I could double stamp it. My apple is from the Mama Elephant Fresh Fruits Photopolymer Stamp Set and is also stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored in the image with my Copics and used the Coordinating Dies to cut it out. A little 3M Foam Tape adheres it to the card. Super simple and a good card to mass produce. It’s nice to let all of those teachers out there know that they are appreciated every once in a while! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! We hope that you take some time and share your card with us in the gallery! Stop by the BLOG for some more inspiration from the rest of the Team! Thanks you for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

  1. I love this. Are these sets new, I have a fettish for fruit stamps, and I love the style of these sentiments.

Well I could not play hooky today, and it was a day from hell. Oh well tomorrow is hump day. I’m working downtown, althought I detest the traffic I love working there. Just hope these darn clouds clear so I can see the beautiful lake

    1. Thanks Linda! I have had that set forever! Love the sentiment too!
I hope that the week improved for you and that there were no clouds to block your view! 🙂

  2. Hi Justin:
Strange thing happened today. You’re blog did not come through to my email address as it usually does. I had to come looking for it. I’m glad I did because you know how much I love simple cards with white space. Substitute a pumpkin where you have your apple and this would be a quick card to mass product for fall. Love it. Not much left of today so I’ll wish you a Wonderful Wednesday tomorrow. Love & Hugs to you. XXXOOO

    1. Hello Garce!
That’s odd that it didn’t come through in email, sometimes weird stuff happens!
It is a nice simple card! Hope you had a great day! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂
