Stars Love Galaxy

I had an actual lazy Sunday! I stayed in bed late, didn’t really do much of anything but watch TV. Taylor came by for a little while after she got off of work. I did make a card for today and that was my day. Today I will be spending lots of time in front of the computer, my to-do list just keeps getting longer! πŸ˜€

I felt like doing a little ink blending yesterday and thats where this card started. I did that ink blending on a piece of Bristol Smooth Card Stock with Hero Arts Navy, Grape Juice and Charcoal Ink using my Mini Ink Blending Tool. It’s spattered with Heidi Swapp White and Tinsel Color Shine and dried with my Heat Tool. I used the Hero Arts Milky Way Fancy Die to cut out a piece of Shadow Curious Metallic Card Stock and as I was taking out the middle I thought that it would actually look pretty cool on the card instead of the outside. My sentiment is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto the die cut and adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. For some sparkly stars I added Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins and that finished the card. I actually do love the inside of the die cut galaxy. It looks like a swirly space oddity! I hope that you like today’s card! Thanks for starting another week off with me! Have an absolutely awesome Monday! πŸ™‚

  2. Do you think the eclipse was at the back of your mind when you made this card? LOL I haven’t done my ink blending in a long time. I think it’s probably time I started doing that again. Perfect card for today Justin. Wishing you a magnificent Monday my friend. Love & Hugs to you – XXOO πŸ™‚

  3. Perfect for the eclipse! I see so many galaxy backgrounds, I want to try them.

My hubby and son went down south to watch it, his pics are cool. I played hooky from work today, Really needed a mental health day and wanted to see the eclipse,. Heavy clouds here but I did see about 10 minutes after totality. Better then nothing. LOL,, its now 3pm and the clouds are breaking apart.

I also thought about cleaning house today, yep thought. I did get my desk cleaned off though. So that should count, right.?

    1. Thank you Linda! I need to get back into my watercolor and ink blended backgrounds!
It was hard to get a good picture with the phones. Isn’t that the way it always works?! LOL!
