Fab Friday 122

Another week is coming to an end. I had a busy morning yesterday, I ran over to Jim’s to pick something up and then stopped back home before I headed over to Sue’s. We had a nice productive day, got a lot done. Last night after dinner Taylor and I ran a few errands, always nice to see the child! Today I have some more purging to do! I do love a good purge! πŸ˜€

I can’t believe that it’s time for a new Fab Friday challenge…

I got to use another new to me stamp! On my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped the branches in Cup O Joe and the flowers in Red Raspberry, both from the Hero Arts Color Layering Birds & Blossoms Photopolymer Stamp Set. The greeting is stamped in Raspberry Jam in the upper left. The birds are stamped in Just Rust and Emerald Green for the first layer and then Cup O Joe for the second. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Raspberry Sequins finish the card! I love that stamp set, so simple and fun! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Color Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you so much for spending some of your Friday with me! Enjoy the rest of your day! πŸ™‚

  1. Nice card, Justin. Great take on using the color challenge today. I like the berry branch and colorful birds. It’s always great to use a new stamp set. I can’t believe Sept has flown by so quickly. It seems as though Labor Day was only a few days ago. My hat is off to you for purging. It is much easier said than done. Good luck. Enjoy your day, my friend.

    1. Thank you HJ! I like a nice simple stamp set and I do love a branch! The year has flown by! I do love the purge, my house is so much more roomy and easier to clean! πŸ™‚

  2. Beautiful card Justin! I love that you put some dimension into it by using the foam tape for the birds. I thought this was a difficult color combo to work with but you managed to pull it off beautifully!
Purging is good but sometimes one can purge too much and regret it later so think about it for a minute before you get rid of whatever it is you are purging now. I speak from experience – LOL You have yourself a Fantastic Friday my friend. Love and hugs to you! XXOO πŸ™‚
