Freshly Made Sketches 304

A holiday on a Monday always makes the week move a little faster! It was sort of overcast and rainy on and off for most of the day so I thought that it would be the perfect day to catch up on my neglected blog comments. I read them as they come in but I have been bad at responding lately. But after three hours they have all been responded to! I feel the love from you guys and you should always feel it right back! I didn’t get much else done but today is a new day to accomplish! Maybe I will give the kitchen cabinets a try! πŸ˜€

Today I have my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches to share with you…

To start I stamped the Concord & 9th Sprinkles Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp in Grape Soda, Sugarplum, Plastic Flamingo and Bubblegum using my MISTI onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The ballon and greeting are from the Concord & 9th Happy Balloons Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Bubblegum and Sugarplum. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut it out along with the string. They are are adhered to a piece of 27lb Pastel Pink Vellum and then adhered to the card! A simple bright birthday card! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge! Thank you so much for visiting! Have an awesome Thursday! πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Justin:
When I see the confetti turn about stamp I always think of sprinkles on my ice cream. That leads me to think of ice cream so then I have to stop what I’m doing and get a dish of ice cream. πŸ™‚ It’s really nice that you can change colors on that stamp with each turn. Makes for a terrific background. Adding the balloons turns it into a fabulous birthday card. Great job my friend. Love and hugs to you! XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Hello Grace!
Yes! LOL! Who doesn’t love a little ice cream?! I do think that the Turnabout stamps are some of the most clever I have see in a long time! So glad that you like the card! Love and hugs to you! XOXO πŸ™‚

  2. I love how you combined sets to make this, I’m really bad with combining stamps. I should try to be more adventurous. Yep, The best thing about thos week was the 4 day work week. We really need more of those. We are still dealing with Fall weather here. But after keeping an eye on Flordia I’m not complaining.

    1. Thank you Linda! I love to combine sets, get a lot more mileage out of your stamps that way! Every week should be four days! It’s feeling fall-like here too, but only down into the 50’s so not too bad yet. πŸ™‚

  3. I love those sprinkles in the various colors. Such a fun backdrop to the birthday balloon. I’m definitely feeling the need for a Concord & 9th order! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
