SIP Challenge 118 – Anything But a Card!

Hello!! I missed you guys! Pennsylvania was awesome! We had such a nice time at the lake and the weather was absolutely perfect! It was in the 80’s all weekend with lots of sun! I was very sad to leave yesterday to come home, so peaceful and serene there! Here is what my view was like for most of the time there…

Isn’t it just perfect?! Now it’s back to reality! I have a lot to catch up on today and hopefully it will all happen! I hope that you all enjoyed your weekends too!

It’s Tuesday and I have my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge to share with you…

Anything but an A2 card! I of course love a tag so that’s what I made! The tag is cut from a piece of Solar White 80lb using the tag die from the Hero Arts June 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit. My sunflower and greeting are from the Hero Arts September My Monthly Hero Kit. I stamped the sunflower in Butter Bar, Pumpkin Pie, Just Rust and Cup O Joe using my Mini MISTI. The leaves are stamped in Green Hills and Forever Green and they are both cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I adhered the leaves to the tag with Dot Runner Adhesive and the sunflower with 3M Foam Tape. The greeting is stamped in Cup O Joe and I tied a piece of Hemptique Natural Hemp Cord through the top to finish it off. I love that tag die because it folds over so that you can write a nice little message inside! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team project for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! We hope to see your project in the gallery so head on over to the BLOG for some more inspiration! Thanks for coming back to check in with me after my little vacation! I wish you all a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

  1. Great tag, Justin. I love that the tag rolls over for a note inside. How cool! So glad you had fun at the lake. Yes, our weather was truly gorgeous the entire weekend. Have a great day!

    1. Thank you HJ! The lake is one of the best places on earth! It was a great weekend and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend it! 🙂

  2. Fabulous tag Justin and it’s made with my favorite flower to boot! Great to see you popped up the head of the sunflower – the bit of dimension makes such a difference! Your color combinations could not have been any better – bright, cheerful and perfect for making the recipient smile! Love it.

So glad you enjoyed the quiet of the lake for the weekend. You and I are in reverse – you go to the lake for the peace and quiet that I have every day and I go to Manhattan for some excitement once in a while. So the question arises – we are such opposites why do I like you so much? Oh wait – I know – you’re a creative genius who is willing to share his talents and life with us. Such a winning combination! Love and hugs to you my friend and wishes for a Terrific Tuesday. XXOO 🙂

    1. Thank you so much Grace! I agree, a little dimension is a good thing!
It is pretty funny that we are opposites like that! I could definitely get used to nice slow pace up at the lake and just come back to the city every so often. LOL! I thank you for your kind words!! You are pretty damn awesome yourself! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

  3. OMG I was having JKCard withdrawal. I forgot you were going to PA, I’m checking my email settings clearing cookies etc wondering why I was off your email list. LOL.
