Paper Craft Crew 264

Hey there peeps! Mid-week already! I managed to get a bunch of stuff done yesterday, some computer stuff in the morning and a little cleaning in the afternoon. I do so love a productive day! Had a little dinner with my Parent’s, Dad is doing much better. I saw Taylor for a bit, she is going to Massachusetts to see a friend and has never taken Amtrak before so I get to go into Manhattan this morning and put her on the train and then come back home. Good times! LOL! 😀

Today’s card is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I felt a little Deja Vu! Typically Halloween colors but not for me! LOL! I stamped the ornament from the Concord & 9th Ornamental Photopolymer Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black and the merry and bright with Carrot using my Mini MISTI. The image is then colored in with Copics. For the ornament topper I cut out a piece of Gold Mirror Card with the Concord & 9th Ornamental Dies. The middles of the flowers have a little Singo Gold Gel Pen. The background looked a little plain so I added dots with pen, one of my favorite ways to fill in a background! Yes, it’s not your typical red and green but it’s still merry and bright! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! You can stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter your in the gallery! Thank you for your visit today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

  1. Love this merry and bright card, Justin. The colors are definitely non-traditional, but very pretty. I can imagine the gold mirror card topper and gold pen on the flowers really make it pop. I agree it’s always a good feeling to have a productive day. It seems as though my productive plans lately have been running off the track and I’m not getting as much done as I would like. LOL! Glad to hear your dad is continuing to improve. Taylor will have a great time visiting her friend. You’re such a great dad! Have a wonderful day!

    1. Thank you HJ! I do like a non-traditional color combo as you know! I do enjoy a productive day but I like my just hang around days too! Dad is doing great! Taylor did enjoy her trip! Thanks! I do try! 🙂
