Paper Craft Crew 265

It started out gloomy in the morning yesterday and then was sunny in the afternoon. The evening however delivered the rain and wind as promised! We even had a little thunder and lighting. I had a semi-productive day, got some things accomplished in the morning and did a little cleaning. Taylor came by last night and we watched a few episodes of DC Legends of Tomorrow, so nice to spend time with the child! This morning it’s a little gloomy but should clear up. I have some errands to run and then a meeting later about a charity event on November 12th that I’m volunteering for. Good times! šŸ˜€

Mid-week and time for a new Paper Craft Crew challenge…

The card starts with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Plaid Background Photopolymer Stamp with some Merman Ink and a piece of Mermaid Card Stock with my Mini MISTI to create the background. It’s adhered to the card in the lower right askew to match the sketch. The tree is cut from a piece of Peacock using the Concord & 9th Trim the Tree Dies. I heat embossed the greeting from the Concord & 9th Trim the Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder and adhered the tree to the card with 3M Foam Tape. For a little pop of color I used the star die from the Trim the Tree Dies and attached that to the top of the tree with more 3M Foam Tape. A simple card using one of my favorite Holiday color combos! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! I appreciate you stopping by today! Have a wild Wednesday! šŸ™‚

  1. Love the plaid stamp, Justin. It makes a great background. Then adding the tree with embossed greeting and red star really makes a pretty card. It was nice to see the sun yesterday. I didn’t accomplish much on my list because I had a 4-hour lunch with a friend (we “rented” the table and talked and laughed the entire time!!) and then had dinner out with friends. A no-cooking day is a great day! I plan to be productive today. Have a great day, my friend.

    1. Thanks HJ! Concord has some really great background stamps! I’m glad that you had such a nice lunch!! You need a day like that every once in a while! šŸ™‚
