SIP Challenge 125 – Colors!

Hi there! Still looking for Winston in the mornings, I guess I’ll be doing that for a while. I had a very quiet day yesterday, ran some errands and did some cleaning. This morning I’m going to try and get a few things organized around the house and maybe get some laundry done. Hopefully you all are having a more eventful week than me! šŸ˜€

I did spend a little time in the Stampin’ Galley yesterday and made my card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

Some timely colors as the leaves are all falling off the trees around here. I do love to just do some stamping, get to use some of the plethora of inks that I have! Today’s card uses the Hero Arts September 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit. I stamped the leaves in Just Rust, Pumpkin Pie, Butter Bar and Cup O Joe to form a wreath. I started by stamping the large Just Rust ones and then went around to make the circle. My greeting is stamped in Cup O Joe in the lower right. I have these fun leaves in the Little Things by Lucy Colors of Fall Sequins Mix so I added a few of them and the card is done. A nice simple card but still way better than anything you can get in the store, don’t you think?! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and get inspired to create a card to share with us in the gallery! Thanks for visiting! Have an amazing Tuesday! šŸ™‚

  1. Love this card Justin and the leaf sequins are the perfect touch. Our trees are bare and we had an inch and a half of snow yesterday………..first of the season. Big hugs of sympathy for your loss of Winston, I know how heart wrenching losing a pet can be.

    1. Thank you Grace! ONG! It’s way too early for snow!! Keep it up there please!! Winnie is missed. XOXO šŸ™‚

  2. I think a part of you will always look for him. I dont think we ever forget our loved ones, we just learn to live with the wonderful memories we have.

Ok, enough somber messages. Love this card! Colors are so perfect!

    1. Yes, I agree Linda. I had a nice long 16 years with him but it’s still not enough.
Thank you! Glad that you like the card! šŸ™‚
