Well, I woke up to 3 inches of snow this morning! No thanks! LOL! It was so windy and cold here yesterday too! Is it too early to start complaining that I can’t wait for Spring?! Despite the frigid day I still got a lot done. Last night we had an early Thirsty Thursday at my house, Heather was a little tipsy so I drove her home and then took her car over to her this morning. I’ll be running more errands and checking more things off my to-do list today! 😀
I managed to get a card made this morning for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge…
I wanted to use the December My Monthly Hero Kit again. First I used the Hero Arts City Skyline Fancy Die, an add-on, to cut out a piece of Gold Glitter Card. I adhered it to a piece of Black 110lb that I rounded the corners on with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. The moon and the starts are from the Stamp Set included and are heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. Onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I added a strip of the Gold Glitter Card and then adhered my panel with E-Z Runner and Fun Foam. My greeting is also from the Stamp Set and is heat embossed in more White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Blue Jay. A few Black 3D Foam Squares hold it in place. The bottom looked a little plain so I added a few Nautical Sparkle and Brushed Gold Sequins along with some dots with my Gold Signo Gel Pen. Love that fun City Scape Die and the unusual greeting!
