Puffy Hearts – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Hello my peeps! I completely spaced on my Fab Friday card last week! That never happens! Like I have said my Mojo has been playing hide and seek with me lately. I have a lot going on and just can’t seem to focus! Trying to get back into the groove!! I promise! The weekend was fun none the less! On Saturday Jim and I took Daniel and his nephews Bobby and Jack to see the Monster Truck show. The kids had a great time and we also enjoyed it! After the show we all came back to my house and had pizza. Yesterday I did get a few cards made and then went over to Heather’s for the Super Bowl with Steph. I thought that the halftime show lacked some wow factor but wasn’t bad. My Mum is in a rehab facility for her recovery and isn’t happy about it at all. Hopefully she will be home soon. This morning I’m off to watch Daniel and Tristan. Not a bad way to start off the week! πŸ˜€

It’s time for my February Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I played around with some love themed goodies for my card! One from the January release and one from the December release!

My card starts with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the We R Memory Keepers Dotted 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the puffy hearts onto a piece of Gray 110lb Card Stock and adhered it to my card base. The strip going down the left side was created using the Heart Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp with Ballet Slippers, Merman, Hippo and Doe Ink. I stamped the solid and love images from the Love You So Photopolymer Stamp Set in Ballet Slippers and Doe. The Coordinating Dies cut it out and some Fun Foam and E-Z Runner adheres it to the card. Simple with some fun colors!

I hope that you like the card for my February Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on February 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Justin:

Long time since I commented mostly because my ISP and I have not been getting along so I don’t always have internet service. As a result I’ve missed a ton of your postings. I have this stamp but haven’t figured out how to use it yet. Could you send me a little email and explain what the heck I need to do to make it work? LOL

So sorry to hear that your Mom had to go to a rehab facility. Hopefully it will be for a very short period. I have no idea what happened but whatever it was you can use that opportunity to make her a card of encouragement every single day. That should brighten things up for her. Today’s card would be a great one for her. Love and hugs to you my friend! XXOO

  2. hope your mom is home soon, brave lady getting both knees done at once! The physiotherapy will help her get home quicker. Cute card, love the CAS style.

  3. Hnestly, Pts do better if they go to rehab for a short while. Honestly You dont want that knee to lock up, ythen its more surgery. Not that they like rehab…

Great card, love the hearts! I think Mojo went to warmer weather, mine left also. Dont blame him. W got hit with two flippin days of cold, wind and snow. 6 inches total. i’m so done
