SIP Challenge 144 – Birthday!

Hello! I finally had a little burst of Mojo the other day! It has been elusive as of late! I have also been busy working on a new project that I will get to share with you soon. A little business venture! I have been keeping myself busy helping out with some computer stuff for friends. There really hasn’t been much else going on. I did go into Manhattan to see some friends last weekend but other than that not much else has been happening! We had another three inches of snow yesterday but thankfully it’s all gone! Now I would like it if Spring could finally get it’s act together! LOL! 😀

I have a simple stamped card to share with you today for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I started by stamping the banner and sentiment from the Concord & 9th Banners & Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set in Jet Black onto a piece of Solar White 80lb using my Mini MISTI. The rest of the images are from the same set and are also stamped in Jet Black. To color them in I used my Copics, doing some very simple shading just to give them a little depth. All that was left to do was to adhere the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Nice and simple and very easy to make quick duplicates of! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Birthday Challenge! Check out the rest of the Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share your creation with us in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me today! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

  1. I like your card with the pretty flowers and simple banner. Great coloring work. I have been missing you and your creations. Glad you are helping friends and working on a business project…so exciting. I can’t wait to hear what you’ve been cooking up. I agree with you about now that we’ve had plenty of snow this winter, it is definitely time for spring. My daffodils are blooming all around the yard and I brought some in the other day before I thought we were getting another snow. Luckily, no snow appeared. Enjoy your day, my friend.

  2. I’ve missed seeing you in my inbox on a daily basis but I’m happy you are staying busy with friends. Can’t wait to see what your next business venture is going to be. I totally understand the lack of mojo but mine is because I have too much stuff. I figuring out that less is more.

  3. Welcome back—we’ve missed you! Love the card, as usual! Beautiful color choices. I’m on edge waiting to hear about your new venture…

  4. Hi Justin,
