Simple Hope Oval Ornaments

Happy Wednesday peeps! I hope that you are all having a good week! I have been relatively busy which is a good thing! The weather has gotten chilly here overnight. I guess the fall is finally here. I’m not a fan of the cold as you all know! I hate to give up my flip-flops! LOL!

Today I have a simple card that is nice and mailable. I started off by using the Pinkfresh Holiday Ornaments Stencils to ink blend two of the ornaments and the pine bough onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used Hero Arts Mint Julep, Tide Pool, Soft Vanilla, Butter Bar and Lime Green Ink. Next I cut out the Pinkfresh Fancy Oval Frame from a piece of Topical Sea Card Stock and adhered it the my stenciled panel. To create a border I added a piece of Hunter Green to my card base and then added the panel to the card with fun foam to give it some dimension. My greeting is from the Pinkfresh Thrill of Hope Wreath Hot Foil Plates and is foiled with Spellbinders Moondust Foil. I used the coordinating Pinkfresh Thrill of Hope Wreath Dies to cut it out and added it to the card with Bearly Arts Glue. A few Little Things by Lucy Shimmering Pool Mix Gems give the card some shine!

I’m loving using stencils and my blending brushes to create detailed and beautiful images! I hope that you enjoyed today’s card and I thank you very much for visiting! Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Indigo Wreath Woven Hello

Hello there and happy Labor Day! I hope that you all are enjoying your three day weekend! I had my friend Kim come out on Saturday. I went into Manhattan in the afternoon and met her for lunch and then we drove back out to my house. Sunday morning we went over to Long Beach and met Jim for a nice walk along the boardwalk which we finished just before it started to drizzle. She took the train home yesterday afternoon and I spent the rest of the day relaxing. I’m hoping to get into the Craft Closet today and play with some new goodies that I recently acquired!

The other day I was digging through my stash and came across one of favorite products from back when I had the store! I decided that it would make a fun background for some new goodies. To start my card I used the Pinkfresh Indigo Vines Washi Tape and added it to a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the coordinating Pinkfresh Indigo Vines Die to cut it out. My card base is also Neenah Solar White 110lb. The background is a piece of Grey 110lb that I embossed using the We R Memory Keepers Next Level Woven 3D Embossing Folder. It’s added to the card base with Bearly Arts Glue. I used 3M Foam Tape to add the wreath. My greeting is from the Pinkfresh Perfect Sentiments Hot Foil Plate. I used Crafter’s Companion Aurora Hot Foil on a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb and cut it out with the coordinating Pinkfresh Perfect Sentiments Die. More foam tape is used to add the greeting to the card and for a little sparkle I added Pinkfresh Stargazer Jewels and some sequins from Little Things by Lucy. A quick simple card thanks to the Washi Tape and sentiments!

I hope that you enjoyed my card for today! I want to thank you for sharing a little bit of your time with me! Enjoy the rest of your Labor Day!

SIP Challenge 185 – CAS Valentine!

Hello! I’m late today! LOL! We had some issues getting things together over on the challenge blog so I waited until that post was up to post mine. I had a lovely day with the kiddos. Tristan was in a really good mood which is always nice! Tomorrow I’ll be in the city at The Ink Pad for a while in the afternoon. I’m looking forward to it! If you’re nearby come in and say hi! ๐Ÿ˜€

Better late than never! Here is this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I used the Concord & 9th Little Love Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies to create my card. The background is stamped with the stacked hearts three times using my MISTI and some Ballet Slippers Ink. I stamped the greeting on top of them with Black Licorice Ink. My little xo heart is stamped in Wild Rose Ink and cut out with the die. I added it to the card with 3M Foam Tape. For a little bling I scattered some hearts from a Little Things by Lucy Mix and a little Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen on the xo heart. Nice and quick and simple! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper CAS Valentine Challenge! Stop by the BLOG for more inspiration and share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me and have a nice evening! ๐Ÿ™‚

Fab Friday 149

Hello friends and a very happy Friday to you! I had a nice day yesterday tile shopping with my friend Kelly. We picked out the shower, wall, floor and shower pan tile for her new bathroom and stopped at Chick-fil-a for lunch. After that I cleaned a little and watched some movies for the rest of the night. I’m off to see the kiddos and my windshield is being replaced today. Tristan and I will hit up McDonald’s for lunch later… if she’s good! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€

On another fun note it’s time for a new challenge over on the Fab Friday blog…

I was inspired by this card that Debby Hughes had done the other day. I loved the colors that she used and I just felt like stamping a background myself! I used the Hero Arts Color Layering Grateful Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set andย Soft Pool, Wet Cement, Pumpkin Pie Dye and Mulled Wine Hybrid Ink along with my Mini MISTI so I could stamp the images more than once to make them nice and crisp. The veining in the leaves is all stamped in Cup O Joe and then the background is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is cut from Gold Glitter Card with the Hero Arts Thank You Pair Fancy Dies. I added it to a circle cut from 65lb Vellum using the Hero Arts Circle Infinity Nested Frame Cuts Dies with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. The circle is then adhered to the card with thin slivers of 3M Foam Tape. A little bling was needed in the form of Little Things by Lucyย Shimmering Pool Jewels and The Colors of Fall Sequin Mix! Love the colors of the leaves! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG for more inspiration and share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your Friday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Layers!

I’m back! LOL! Here with my post for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th. This time we have a Layers challenge…

Lately I have been really into more clean cards but who doesn’t love a few layers to give a little wow to your project?! I started my card by stamping the Deck the Halls Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp in Lime Green, Soft Cantaloupe, Tide Pool and Soft Granite Ink onto a piece of Solar White 80lb with my MISTI. It’s trimmed to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. My greeting is from the Very Merry Sentiments Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of Vellum. I wrapped it around the stamped panel and added it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For my tag I used the Holiday Cheer Tags Dies and some more Solar White 80lb. I also used the ornament die to cut out the negative from the center of the tag holder. Onto the tag I stamped the ornament from the Holiday Cheer Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set in Lime Green and added the topper cut from a piece of Galvanized Curious Metallic. A piece of American Crafts Lime Green Twine is tied through the top and the tag is added to the card. It needed just a little sparkle and to take care of that I scattered some Little Things by Lucy Shimmering Pool Gems.

I love the colors and the pop of the white tag and sentiment against the bright background! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Layers Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG so head on over and check it out! We hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks for coming by again today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Paper Craft Crew 309

Ahh, halfway through the week! My brother is away this week so I have had the kiddos longer than usual. But they really are so good so I don’t mind at all. I’m off to PA for the long weekend early tomorrow morning. Last trip of the season which is a bummer. But we’ll make the most of it! Can’t wait to be in the country air again! ๐Ÿ™‚

Wednesday means it’s time for a new challenge over on the Paper Craft Crew blog…

I’m really loving navy lately! I started my card by adhering a piece of Silver Glitter Card to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Next I used the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Dies and the circle from the Concord & 9th Globe Greetings Dies to cut out the negative of the small snowflake from a piece of Blueprint Curious Metallic and adhered it to the card with 3m Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Simon Says Stamp Ultra Fine Steel Navy Embossing Powder onto a piece of Galvanized Curious Metallic and then trimmed into to strips. They are adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape and E-Z Runner. A few Little Things by Lucy Nautical Sparkle Sequins and Pearls complete the card! Love the negative snowflake in the circle and the sparkly silver background! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Check out the rest of the Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share your take with us in the gallery. Thanks for visiting with me! Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Fab Friday 147

Another early day with the kiddos but it’s Friday!! I spent the day on Wednesday looking for a new clothes dryer. We have some scratch and dent places around here but most of the stuff there looked like it fell off of the back of a truck doing about 80 MPH! LOL! I settled on a new one, it ended up only being about $100 more than one of the banged up ones. Not sure what’s going on for the weekend, but that’s ok, I do like a surprise from time to time! ๐Ÿ˜€

In my effort to try and get back into creating mode I have a card to share with you today for the new Fab Friday challenge…

More fun with the new release from Concord & 9th! I started my card by heat embossing the large snowflake from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Photopolymer Stamp Set twice in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Blue Print Curious Metallic and then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. My greeting is also from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Set and is heat embossed in Simon Says Stamp Ultra Fine Steel Navy Embossing Powder onto a piece of Super Gold Curious Metallic. I added a few of the snow flakes and then used the rectangle die from the Concord & 9th Just Because Dies to cut it out. I also cut it from a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to frame it. The snowflake is adhered to a card base of Solar White 110lb. I used another die from the Concord & 9th Just Because Dies to cut out the pine branches from Gold Metallic 27lb Vellum. Some 3M Foam Tape is added to the back of the greeting and the pine branches are added tot he back before it’s added to the card. To finish it off I scattered some Little Things by Lucy Nautical Sparkle Sequins and a few Hero Arts Clear Gems. I love that Steel Navy Embossing Powder and the blue and gold together! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and get some more inspiration and share your card with us in the gallery! SIP Challenge 169 – Background Stamps!

Another Monday done! I had a nice time with the kiddos and Tristan was a delight! That’s not always the case lately! Terrible two’s are no joke! LOL! I took part in the crafty garage sale on Saturday and managed to send a lot of crafty goodness to new homes! I also got to see some peeps from the store and that was really nice! I’m still cleaning and organizing the Stampin’ Galley but it’s coming along nicely! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I got to play with some of the goodies from this month’s Concord & 9th release! I started my card by stamping pieces from the Concord & 9th Cozy Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set in Simon Says Stamp Lake Shores and Rosie Cheeks Ink using my MISTI onto some Solar White 80lb. That is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is cut from a piece of Glitter Paper from the Concord & 9th Neutrals Glitter Pack and two pieces of Solar White 110lb Card Stock using the Concord & 9th Merry & Bright Die. I used Multi-Purpose Spray to adhere them together and then added it to the card. A sprinkling of Shimmer Pool Gems from Little Things by Lucy finish off the card. I love the nice soft colors and big bold sentiment! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Background Stamps Challenge! Paper Craft Crew 280

Wow! It’s Wednesday already?! Where has this week gone?! Monday I had the Kiddos and Tristan decided that she wanted to skip her nap! By the time my Brother got home she was cranky! Not gonna lie, I was happy to get to leave! Yesterday I ran into Manhattan to see my friends Jon and Mary. I had a little Penn Station pizza for lunch before heading back out to the island. My Mum is in a lot of pain, she is allergic to all pain killers apparently, that just is not good! She is doing well with her physical therapy and she gets her staples out this week, hopefully that will help. Oh, Happy Valentine’s Day to you all! I hope that you get to spend some quality time with your love no matter who that is! I have a bunch pf computer stuff to get through today along with some laundry and a little cleaning. How romantic! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time once again for a new Paper Craft Crew sketch…

I have been wanting to use a new to me set that I picked up at The Ink Pad last week when I was there! I started by stamping some leaves from the Neat & Tangled Calathea Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman, Minty Fresh, Peacock and Freshly Cut Grass onto some Solar White 80lb. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I then stamped more onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I added the die cut leaves with 3M Foam Tape and and stamped my greeting in Peacock onto a strip of Solar White 80lb. That is added across the leaves with a few Little Things by Lucy Shimmer Pool Accents. A nice simple card using some of my favorite colors! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for visiting with me today! Have a love filled Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Watercolor!

Ahh… Friday! I haven’t see you guys since Wednesday and it seems like forever!  My time at The Ink Pad was fun as always, I miss being at the store and if it wasn’t so expensive I would definitely go in more often! Wednesday night Jim came by for dinner and we watched the Mummy with Tom Cruise. I watched Daniel & Tristan yesterday, Tristan was a little bit of a beast but we all have our off days right?! Last night I assembled a power wheels motorcycle for a friend’s son’s birthday and finished off my evening by watching a few episodes of Altered Carbon. Not sure how I feel about it yet! This morning I have a bunch of flyers to do for Jim and some more odds and ends to get finished. ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s one of my favorite times of the month! Time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

I haven’t watercolored in ages! I decided to something simple and I forgot how much I like the results! Onto a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor Card I applied some clean water and then used the red from the Gansai Tambi Set. I need to remember to get a hard board to tape the watercolor card to, from what I have seen it really helps keep it nice and flat while you work on it! My impatience led me to use my Heat Tool to speed up the drying and then I ran the paper through my Big Shot to flatten it. It’s adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Tombo Extreme Adhesive. For the greeting I used the L O V E from the Concord & 9th Love You So Die Set and cut it out twice, once from Black 110lb and then from Tropical Sea. They are adhered to the card with Multi-Matte Medium, I added the black and then offset the teal. The card needed a little sparkle so I pulled out my Little Things by Lucy Shimmering Pool Mix Jewels and added a few randomly around the greeting! A very simple way to add watercolor to your card! I love the dark edges and variation in color!

I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Watercolor Challenge! My Teammates have made some great cards to inspire you so head on over the BLOG head over and check them out! You have all month to play along and we hope you will share your card with us in the gallery! Donโ€™t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook!
