Mojo Monday 498

What a nice weekend that was! Saturday night with Danielle and then Sunday Brunch with Heather’s family to celebrate her grandmother’s 90th Birthday! A nice way to start the day! Jim came by the restaurant and picked me up around 1:00, we hung out at my house for a bit and then he headed home. I had a little dinner with my Parents and then watched TV. I have a lot of organizing and projects to get through today!! It’s going to be a good week! 😀

Since it’s Monday that means a new Mojo Monday sketch…

My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The panel on the right is a piece of Black that I heat embossed in Hero Arts Clear and White Satin Pearl Embossing Powder with the Concord & 9th Triangle Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp and my MISTI. I only did two turns this time! Next up is a piece of Galvanized Curious Metallic that I cut out with the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies. It’s adhered to three strips of Real Red and that is adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. My love is cut from more Black using the Concord & 9th Love Always Frame Dies. I cut it out twice, adhered then to each other with Multi-Purpose Spray, heat embossed them with more Clear Embossing Powder and then used more Multi-Purpose Spray to adhere it to the card. I used one of the other dies in the set to cut out the three hearts from Real Red, adhered them with Multi-Matte Medium and then added a few Pretty Pink Posh Raspberry and Onyx Sequins to complete the card. I’m really loving the Turnabout Stamps from Concord, especially this one in the Satin Pearl and clear on the Black! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see what the rest of the Team has done and let’s see your card in the gallery! Thank you so much for starting your week off here with me! Have a marvelous Monday! 🙂

Another quiet day here yesterday. I did have a nice visit with Mum for Mother’s Day. My Brother came by with the kiddies for a bit. Daniel came over to my house all by himself, he thinks he’s such a big boy now! I also managed to get my bedroom closet cleaned out and a few dresser drawers too! Not bad for a Sunday! Today, lots more organizing and purging!

And since it’s Monday we have a new Mojo Monday Sketch for you…

Remember the card from Saturday? When I use the Concord & 9th Dotty Turnabout Stamp I always do it on a 6×6 piece of Solar White 80lb. The panel on today’s card is another piece from the one I made for Saturday’s card! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I took a piece of Solar White 80lb and masked off the a diagonal strip with some Post-it Tape. To add the color I used my Mini Ink Blending Tool and some Altenew Peach Perfect Crisp Ink. The panel is then adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. Next up is the aforementioned panel from Saturday’s card. For my greeting I used the Concord & 9th All About You Dies to cut out some Gold Mirror Card. I also cut out the negative from a piece of 48lb Vellum. To make it easier to hide the adhesive on the Vellum I stamped three more circles in Cotton Candy and cut them out with my Scissors. They are adhered to the Vellum and to the card with 3M Foam Tape. all that was left to do was to adhere the YOU with more 3M Foam Tape. I love that the YOU is cut out from the Vellum and there is that little border that lets you see the background! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and let’s see yours in the gallery! Thank you so much for starting another week off here with me! Have an amazing Monday! 🙂

Happy Monday! I had myself a little adventure yesterday! Heather and I drove up to Nashua New Hampshire to pick up her new car. We had a nice weather on the way there, it took a little longer to get things finished than we had hoped but in the end it all worked out. We stopped at Cracker Barrel for an early dinner, had a little rain in Connecticut on the way back but all in besides the fact that being in the car for 8 plus hours is a lot we had a good day! This morning I have a bunch of orders to get mailed out and I need to stop by the Store too. 😀

Today’s card is brought to you by this week’s Mojo Monday sketch…

I turned the sketch on it’s side! To start my card I heat embossed the Hero Arts Thank You with Flourishes Wood Mount Stamp in Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder onto a piece of White Gold Curious Metallic. To my card base of Ivory 110lb I adhered two strips of Copper Metallic with the ends flagged and on top of that is a piece of Black. The panel with the Thank You is adhered with E-Z Runner and Fun Foam. To give the card some shine I added some Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins. Not a very complicated card but I love the mix of metallics and the nice bold Thank You! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card! Stop by the BLOG and see the inspiration that the rest of the Team has come up with and let’s see your card in the gallery! I thank you very much for starting your week off with me! Have a magnificent Monday! 🙂

Mojo Monday 495

I had a quiet Sunday. I had a little work to do for a friend on the computer, cleaned a bit and watched far too much TV. It was sort of overcast most of the day and a little chilly too. I had thought about going into Manhattan but then decided that I didn’t feel like taking the train or driving in so that took care of that. I guess it was a relaxing day, although I did find it a bit boring. Today back to the Store and I will fill the day with some craftiness, that always makes the day better! 😀

It’s Monday people and time for a new Mojo Monday sketch…

This card came out of nowhere! My base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and the background is a piece of Kraft. I used the Hero Arts Skylines Fancy Dies to cut out a piece of Gold Glitter Card Stock for the buildings and some Gold Mirror Card for the Bridge. The buildings are adhered to the card with a strip of Battleship Gray underneath. I adhered the bridge to a piece of Chinese Red, trimmed of the excess and adhered the square to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. Next I die cut the happy from the Hero Arts Happy Stamp & Cut Photopolymer Stamp Set from a piece of Solar White 110lb, heat embossed the birthday in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Black and adhered the happy to the top and then the black to the card. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins and the card is done! I will admit that I wasn’t really sure as I was putting the card together but I really do like the finished product, especially the colors! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! There are more cards to see over on the BLOG so stop by and take a look and let’s see your take on the sketch too! Thank you for starting your week off with me! Have a marvelous Monday! 🙂

I had a nice quiet but productive Sunday. I got a bunch of cleaning done, vacuumed the inside of my car and ran a few errands wth Taylor. There was a little TV watching thrown in there too. It was a nice sunny day so being outside was a definite must. Not a terrible way to spend a Sunday! Today more fun at the Store! 😀

What’s the best way to chase away the Monday’s? Why with a new Mojo Monday Sketch of course…

My card starts with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I ran a strip of Ballerina Pink, with the end flagged, down the center. Next up is a piece of Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes Petite Paper that I cut with the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables and adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I used the Lawn Fawn Fab Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set to create some patterned paper of my own, stamping the rose in Ballet Slippers and Minty Fresh. It’s cut out with the Lawn Fawn Large Dotted Squares Stackables Lawn Cuts. On top and to the lower left of that is a piece of Kraft that I cut out with the Lawn Fawn Small Dotted Circles Stackables and adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. More flowers are stamped and cut out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts and adhered to the Kraft Circle with more 3D Foam Squares. My greeting is from the Lawn Fawn Happy, Happy, Happy Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the Happy in Ballet Slippers and cut it out with the Coordinating Lawn Cut and the rest of the greeting is stamped in Minty Fresh onto a strip of Solar White 80lb and adhered to the card with still more 3D Foam Squares. I love the subtle look of the flower stamped in the same color for both layers! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks so much for starting your week off with me! Have a magnificent Monday! 🙂

I hope that you all had a happy Easter! I had a nice day with my family, got to play with Daniel and Tristan and spend some time with Taylor too! The weather was lovely except for a little shower. The rest of the evening was spent relaxing, watching a little TV. Back to the Store today to get some more projects finished! 😀

The start of a new week always means a new Mojo Monday sketch…

My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I ran a strip of American Crafts Plum Glitter Tape down the left side. Next I stamped some images from the Concord & 9th Flourish Photopolymer Stamp Set in Black Licorice, Ballet Slippers, Lobster, Fresh Lavender, Grape Soda, Sugarplum and Freshly Cut Grass. To continue on with my love of fussy cutting I used my Scissors to cut out the images. My panel is a piece of Solar White 80lb backed with a piece of Purple Hearts. I stamped the greeting from the Concord & 9th By Your Side Photopolymer Stamp Set In Sugarplum and adhered it to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My images are adhered with 3D Foam Squares. I love the white space and simplicity of the card and the Flourish Set is still a favorite! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! I know I say it all the time but the weekend goes too fast! It was a gorgeous day here. I had a nice time in Manhattan in the morning and ran to get the train, literally! Boy am I out of shape! LOL! Jim picked me up at the station and we came back to my house, saw my Parents for a bit and then jumped in my car, put the top down and went for a nice long ride along the north shore. It’s so pretty up there and the houses are so nice. We stopped at IKEA on the way back and had some Swedish meatballs for dinner and did a little shopping. When we got back to my house I helped him with some iPhone stuff. The rest of the evening was spent catching up with some other friends! So nice to speak to my peeps! 😀

Ahh.. Monday, it’s not such a bad day when you have a new Mojo Monday sketch to start your day…

My card starts off with the usual base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The background is a piece of Kraft that I stamped with the Concord & 9th Barnwood Background Photopolymer Stamp and some Doe Ink. Next up is a piece of of Chinese Red with the hearts from the Concord & 9th Love Always Photopolymer Stamp Set heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. I adhered that to the background and then a piece of American Crafts Gold Glitter Tape across it. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th By Your Side Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Cranberry onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. I adhered that to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. Another weekend gone too soon! I had a very busy and really fun one so no complaints. Yesterday I had a quick trip into Manhattan to see my friends Jon and Mary. I left them around 12:20 and ran down to The Ink Pad to drop off some things for Anna and then headed back to Penn to get the train home. I was home by 2:10 and then ran over to Heather’s to see the new paint in the living room, very nice. We did a few errands and then hung out at my house for a bit. Daniel was at my Parent’s so we played with him for a while. I took Heather home and then Taylor came by for a visit. The evening needed with a little TV. Today it’s back to the Store and some crafty fun! 😀

We are starting the week off as we always do with a new Mojo Monday sketch…

My card starts with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For my background I used a piece of Merman. The two panels are Lawn Fawn Blue Raspberry Perfectly Plaid and Birthday Candles Watercolor Wishes 12×12. I adhered the Watercolor piece with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I stamped the greeting and the waves from the Lawn Fawn Float My Boat Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman Ink onto a strip of Solar White 80lb and cut the left on an angle. It’s adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. My boat and seagulls are from the same set. The boat is stamped in Peacock and the seagulls in Hippo. More 3D Foam Squares adhere them to the card. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Share Kindness Mix add a little sparkle! Love that little boat and the seagulls, just fun! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! We hope that you will share your take on the sketch with us in the gallery after you check out the rest of the Team’s cards that they have made to inspire you over on the BLOG! Oh, it’s Monday already. The weekend really does go so fast! I did have a very nice day off! I ran a few errands in the morning and then Jim came over with lunch and we worked on his crafty project a little more. The rest of the evening was spent watching a TV and just being. It felt so nice to do not much at all. Today back in the swing of things at the Store! 😀

It’s Monday and time for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch…

My card starts off with a base of Ivory 110lb Card Stock. The notebook paper is a piece of Authentique 12×12 from the Twisted Collection. I adhered it to a piece of Black and then added some May Arts Ribbon around the middle. My image and greeting are from the Hero Arts Welcome Home Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. The start of a new week and they are calling for about a foot of snow for tomorrow! Really?! It’s March people, enough already! LOL! I played hooky from the Store yesterday, I have so many things that I need to get done around the house and I just needed a real day off! I went over to Heather’s in the morning and her George and I had breakfast. After that she and I went food shopping. When we got back I helped George put up some crown moulding and then Heather and I came back to my house to a bit of cleaning. I’m happy to report that I have a dining room table! Around 4:00 Taylor stopped by and then my friend Jim came over. We went to BestBuy and BJ’s to pick ups a few things, picked up dinner and had a nice meal at said table! After that we worked on a little project. Today I’m back at the Store with a little catching up to do! 😀

Monday’s mean that it’s time for a new Mojo Monday sketch…

I played with some new stamps from Sunny Studio for today’s card! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with a strip of Bo Bunny Double Dot Wasabi Stripe Paper, torn on the top and bottom, adhered down the left side. My flowers and greeting are from the Sunny Studio Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers and leaves in Lawn Fawn Ballet Slippers, Bubblegum, Lobster, Jalapeño and Noble Fir Ink with my Mini MISTI and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. My background is a piece of Solar White 80lb, I used my Mini Ink Blending Tool to add some Merman Ink to it and trimmed off the edges. The greeting is stamped in Noble Fir and the panel is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My flowers are added with a Quickie Glue Pen and 3D Foam Squares. I was going to add some Sequins or Clear Drops but decided that I like the card just the way it was! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for starting another week off here with me! Have a marvelous Monday! 🙂
