OSAT June Blog Hop – Masculine!

OSAT June Blog Hop – Masculine!

Hello my friends! We finally had some sun yesterday! I made sure that in between my crafting I went outside frequently! I didn’t do much else, I did have plans to do a lot more, just didn’t have the motivation. I had a quick dinner with my Parents and then ran a few errands. Today I have to do a little cleaning and finished up a few more projects. Good times! ūüėÄ

For my projects today I’m participating in a blog¬†hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from the clever¬†Jessie Holton’s¬†blog, welcome! This month we have a Masculine¬†theme! Hmm… Masculine should be my specialty, but I do loves me some flowers! LOL!!

I have two cards for Father’s Day to share with you! The first one starts off with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the front covered in a piece of Black 110lb. I used the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Background Wood Mount Stamp and some Hero Arts Sand to Chocolate Brown Ombre Ink to make my background. Next up is a piece of 48lb Vellum that is cut out with the Hero Arts Nesting Postage Infinity Dies. I used the Hero Arts Nesting Tags Dies to cut out a piece of Kraft, added the black reinforcement and a piece of Hemptique Black Hemp Twine tied through the top. My cool die cuts are cut from Black 110lb using the Hero Arts Hipster Icon Dies, they are adhered to the tag with Multi-Matte Medium. The¬†greeting is from the Hero Arts Dapper Dad Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in the Ombre Ink at the bottom of the tag. I adhered the tag to the Vellum with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner and then adhered the Vellum to the card. Simple but definitely masculine!

My second card uses the same base. I stamped the bicycles from the Hero Arts Hipster at Heart Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Granite repeatedly to create a simple stamped background. Across the top I stamped my greeting from the Hero Arts Dapper Dad Photopolymer Stamp Set in Black. Another bicycle is stamped in Tide Pool and cut out with the Coordinating Frame Cuts. I used 3M Foam Tape to adhere it over one of the stamped bicycles on the card. That’s it! Nice and simple but I do love a stamped background!

I hope that you enjoyed my Father’s Day cards¬†for the OSAT Masculine¬†Blog Hop! You can click on the next¬†button below to go back to the start and see clever¬†Andrea Tracy-Tucker¬†has come up with!! Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today.¬†Have a thoroughly awesome Thursday! ūüôā

OSAT May Blog Hop – Clean & Simple!

Happy Thursday to you all! I had another relatively productive day yesterday. I went to the Store in the morning and visited with Renee for a bit. After that I went to my Parent’s to see little Daniel and Tristan. They were over so that Erika could study for her Chemistry final. After that back to my house to work on some projects, some dinner with my Mum and Dad and then Taylor came by and we watched a few episodes of Blindspot, I’m happy to report that I’m all caught up! I have a bunch of projects to get finished and who know what else?!

For my projects today I’m participating in a blog¬†hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from the clever¬†Lori Mueller’s¬†blog, welcome! This month we have a Clean & Simple¬†theme!¬†I love a nice clean, simple card especially lately! And when you can use just one set and some ink even better!

All of the four cards use a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Enjoy it All Photopolymer Stamp Set to stamp all of my images and greetings in Lawn Fawn¬†Ballet Slippers, Fresh Lavender, Peachy Keen, Minty Fresh, Sunflower, Juice Box, Carrot, Sugarplum, Jalape√Īo and Black Licorice. The greetings are stamped using my Mini MISTI and the rest of the images with blocks. That’s it! Some nice quick, clean, crisp and simple cards! I do love a stamp set from Concord & 9th, they are one of my favorite companies, they have fun and innovative products that make projects great!

OSAT March Blog Hop – Flower Power!

OSAT March Blog Hop – Flower Power!

Happy Thursday! We had another warm but not quite as sunny as Tuesday day yesterday! I’ll take it! I did get to ride to the Store and home with the top down in the car so it’s all good! Renee had her Kiwi Lane class in the morning and I worked on some projects. Dinner with the ‘rents when I got home and then some Heather time to finish off the evening! Today I’ll be concentrating on more projects and hopefully enjoying another nice day! ūüėÄ

For my projects today I’m participating in a blog¬†hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from the talented Marisa Gunn’s blog, welcome! This month we have a Flower Power¬†theme! Nothing says flower power to me like the big bold Pretty Petals Set from Concord & 9th!¬†I made a card and a coordinating gift tag¬†to share with you today!

The card begins with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, I covered the front in a piece of Shale. The flowers from the Concord & 9th Pretty Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set are stamped in Minty Fresh and Grape Soda onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. The greeting, also from the same set is stamped in more Grape Soda and the panel is adhered to the card. My flower centers are cut out with one of the dies from the Concord & 9th Pretty Petals Dies from more Shale and adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. The tag is created the same way with the flower cut out with another die from the Pretty Petals Dies. I punched a hole in the top and threaded some May Arts Natural Twine through. If you are a regular to my blog you can tell that I’m obsessed with the flower. I have used it a lot and love it!

OSAT March Blog Hop – Birthday Bash!

OSAT March Blog Hop – Birthday Bash!

Hey hey! Happy Thursday! I had a nice productive day at the Store after I had to stop at the bank again yesterday morning! My ATM card didn’t work, thanks citibank! I’ve definitely seen enough of them this week! LOL! Renee had her Kiwi Lane class and my Parent’s stopped by in the morning for a bit. After work I came home and spoke to Heather for a bit. My friend Jim came by and we had dinner, Zorn’s which I haven’t had in forever, and listened to music and talked. A very nice way to end the day indeed!

For my projects today I’m participating in a blog¬†hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from the talented Megan Thompson, welcome! This month we have a Birthday Bash¬†theme! I don’t know about you but I can always use a Birthday card!¬†I made a card and a coordinating gift box to share with you today!

First up is my card! I used the Lawn Fawn Out of This World Photopolymer Stamp Set and stamped some of the images from the set in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink so that I could color them in with my Copics. They are cut out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts. My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the background I cut a piece of Black to be slightly smaller than my card front and heat embossed the greeting in the bottom left with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. The background is then adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I added the images to the card with 3D Foam Squares and then stamped one of the stars from the set in Yeti Ink randomly over the background. Finally I used my Signo White Gel Pen to add dots to the background and give it a little more of a space feel. I think this would make a great card for a little boy’s Birthday, don’t you?

Next I have the coordinating box. I used the Lawn Fawn Fancy Box Lawn Cut to cut out the box and then used the Lawn Fawn Starry Skies Lawn Cut to cut out the stars from the lid. Some more images from the Out of This World Set are stamped, colored and cut out. I adhered the box together and added the stamped images to the lid with 3D Foam Squares. Again, I stamped the stars and added some dots and it’s done! I love that box, it’s a nice different way to give a gift card or a little present!

I hope that you enjoyed my card and gift box¬† for the OSAT Birthday Bash¬†Blog Hop! You can click on the next¬†button below to go back to the start and see¬†what the talented Lori Mueller¬†has come up with!! Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today.¬†Have a thoroughly awesome Thursday! ūüôā

OSAT February Blog Hop – All You Need is Love!

OSAT February Blog Hop – All You Need is Love!

It was sooooooo nice out yesterday! We made it up to 62 degrees! I had to go out to the bank and I had the pleasure of having the top down in the car! In February! What?!?! Well, never fear, today we are to get up to 12 inches of snow! Insane weather! I would of course prefer to do a repeat of yesterday! I made sure thatI was nice and productive at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store, we are closed today. They have told everyone to make sure that if they don’t need to travel to stay home. I think that I will get some more organizing done today, it’s a good day to do it! ūüėÄ

For my projects today I’m participating in a blog¬†hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from the talented Jeanna Bohanon, welcome! This month we have a All You Need is Love¬†theme! Ahh… who doesn’t like a little love?! I have a card and coordinating gift box for you today!

I used the same stamp set on both the card and the gift box. To create them I heat embossed the flowers and leaves from the Concord & 9th Hello Lovely Photopolymer Stamp Set in WOW! Rich Pale Gold Embossing Powder onto three pieces of Solar White 80lb, one so that I could cut out the large flowers. For the card I also stamped the greeting from the set in Hero Arts Wet Cement Ink. On the cut out flowers I added a little Prismacolor Colored Pencils to the petals. For the gift box I used the Lawn Fawn Pillow Box Lawn Cut to cut out the paper and adhered it together with Scor-Tape. I adhered the background for the card to a piece of Shale Card Stock and then to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The cut out flowers are adhered to the card and to the gift box with 3D Foam Squares. All that was left to do was to add a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins and they are done! I love that Rich Pale Gold Embossing Powder and the flowers and leaves from the Hello Lovely Set look great left as is, colored in or stamped with the addition layers!

I hope that you enjoyed my card and gift box¬† for the OSAT All You Need is Love¬†Blog Hop! You can click on the next¬†button below to see what the talented¬†Dena Rekow¬†has come up with!! Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today.¬†Have a thoroughly awesome Thursday! ūüôā

OSAT November Blog Hop – Let it Snow!

OSAT November Blog Hop – Let it Snow!

osat-blog-hop-banner

It was a gloomy day here on Long Island yesterday, it rained on and off. They continued the construction at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store but this time it was really noisy! Hopefully it will be done soon! I worked on a few projects at the Store and my friend Dianne stopped by, always nice to see her! I went straight over to Heather’s after work. She is leaving tomorrow for Florida, there will be no Thirsty Thursday this week. We had a nice evening, got some Subway for dinner and I helped her pack. This morning I’m off to Manhattan for a bit to see Ella. We know how I enjoy a little trip into the city!

For my projects today I’m participating in a blog¬†hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from¬†my friend Pam Staples blog, welcome! This month we have a Let it Snow theme! Not that I want it to snow at all! LOL!! I have a¬†card and some coordinating gift tags¬†that I made with one of my favorite Hero Arts Sets¬†to share with you!

First up is the card! I started with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and added a piece of Echo Park This & That 12×12 Paper for my background. I stamped the coffee cup from the Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tags & Dies Combo in Lime Green using my Mini MISTI to stamp it twice. The whipped cream is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Puff Embossing powder and then the cup and cream are cut out with the Coordinating Dies. My¬†mittens and greeting are from the Hero Arts Christmas Mittens Stamp & Die Combo and are heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut out the mittens and flagged the left side of the greeting banner. They are all adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. I added just a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins and a Gold Heat Embossed holly bunch to the coffee cup and the card is done! I do love that Coffee Cup Set… hmmm… might have something to do with my obsession with coffee?! ūüėÄ

osat-november-blog-hop-card-wm

Next I have three gift tags. They were super easy to make especially since I stamped them at the same time I stamped the pieces for the card! The sleeve and to and from are stamped in Red Royal. I punched a hole in the left side and added some Lawn Fawn Green Sparkle Single Cord Lawn Trimmings. For a little extra something I heat embossed one of the snowflakes from the Holiday Mittens Stamp & Die Combo in Hero Arts White Puff Embossing Powder and cut it out with the Coordinating Die. They are adhered to the tags with 3D Foam Squares. Quick and easy Holiday tags, way better than store bought!

OSAT October Blog Hop – Fall!

OSAT October Blog Hop – Fall!

osat-blog-hop-banner

Hello! I can’t believe that it’s Thursday already. Renee and I both had somewhat productive days at the Stores yesterday. I got my projects for today’s hop done and Renee painted some wine glasses. I had a quite evening, after dinner I came home and watched TV. I have a bit of a toothache and needed to get my mind off of it so I watched two movies. Today I have my Quick Cards Class at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store, that will be fun! And I managed to only use two stamp sets! ūüėÄ

For my projects today I’m participating in a blog¬†hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from the¬†talented Lori Mueller’s blog, welcome! This month we have an Oh My, Pumpkin’s and Pie or Fall¬†theme! Not my favorite time of the year but I do love the colors! I have a¬†card and a gift card holder¬†that I made with some Concord & 9th¬†goodness to share with you!

Up first is my card! The base is Ivory 110lb Card Stock. My leaves are from the Concord & 9th Lacy Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed them as follows; Candied Yam with Hero Arts Copper, Herb Garden with Hero Arts Platinum and Dark Molasses with Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. They are then cut out with the Concord & 9th Grateful Leaf Dies and adhered to a piece of Kraft with Dot Runner and 3D Foam Squares. I wrapped some May Arts Natural Twine around the top and tied it in a bow and then adhered it to the card  base with E-Z Runner. The greeting is also from the Grateful Leaf Dies cut from a piece of Gold Mirror Card and three pieces of Dark Molasses. I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhere them to each other and more 3D Foam Squares, trimmed to fit behind, to adhere it to the card. That stamp set has to be one of my all time favorites and I love the leaves embossed in all the different metallic powders!

osat-october-blog-hop-card-wm

Next we have my little gift card holder. That Lawn Fawn Pillow Box Lawn Cut is definitely my go to die when I need to make a gift card holder, love it! It’s cut from Kraft and I stamped the small leaves from the Concord & 9th Lacy Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Cup O Joe Ink. Another piece of Candied Yam is cut out with the Concord & 9th Grateful Leaves Dies and I used the Concord & 9th Sophisticated Script Upper and Lower Case Alphabets and some more Cup O Joe to stamp Thanks on the leaf. A piece of Herb Garden and Dark Molasses are heat embossed with the small leaf in Platinum and Gold and cut out with the Coordinating Die from the Grateful Leaves Dies. I adhered them to the large leaf with Dot Runner. More May Arts Natural Twine wrapped and tied in a bow finishes off my gift card holder. I love the way it coordinates with the card but uses a few different elements!

OSAT August Blog Hop – Summer

OSAT August Blog Hop – Summer

OSAT Blog Hop Banner

I had a nice relaxing morning yesterday. I got up and had my coffee and puttered around on the internet before I took my shower. I even got to sit outside for a bit before it started to rain. After that I FaceTimed with Andrea for a little, stopped by my parents and then headed over to get my man bun chopped off. I can say that I did it and I’m glad to have my short hair back! Around 1:20 I started to make my way to La Guardia. It rained on the way there which in 94 degrees with no AC in the car wasn’t fun at all! Ken’s flight was a little late but I got him and nearly cooked him in the car on the way back to the store. It took us a little over two hours to get there. His class was awesome and all of the students made some really great projects! I also got to speak to one of my blog peeps on the phone for a little bit! So nice to actually get to speak in person! When the class was over I took Ken to get some food and then dropped him off at his hotel. I’m going to get him early so we can stop and have breakfast on the way to the store. He has another class today and then I’ll drop him off at the Ferry over to Connecticut later on tonight. It’s fun¬†to get spend time with him, he’s a really nice guy!

For my projects today I’m participating in a blog¬†hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from my friend¬†Martie’s blog, welcome! This month we have a a Summer¬†theme! As soon as I saw the August My Monthly Hero Kit I knew that I would have to use it for this hop! I have two cards that I made with it and the add ons share with you!

My first card has a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used my Mini Ink Blending Tool to apply some Hero Arts Cornflower and Soft Pink Ink to a piece of Solar White 80lb, dried it with my Heat Tool and the heat embossed the greeting in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. I then adhered that to the card base. Next up I used the Die from the August My Monthly Hero Kit to cut out a piece of Early Espresso and the Add-On Die to cut out a piece of Super Gold Curious Metallic. The Early Espresso piece is adhered to the background with Dot Runner and the Gold piece is adhered with 3D Foam Squares. The fairy is from the Kit too and is stamped in Hero Arts Intense Black Ink and colored in with Copics. I used the Coordinating Die to cut her out and adhered her with more 3D Foam Squares to the card. To tone down the Gold a little I used the Outer Frame from the Kit on a piece of Solar White 80lb and adhered that with more Dot Runner on top of the gold. For a little more magic I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Ballerina Pink, Gold and Pansy Purple Sequins and brushed the fairy with some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen. I love that kit! So fun and whimsical and the dies are just awesome!

OSAT August Blog Hop Card 1-WM

For the second card I also used a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. To create my background I heat embossed the clouds, stars and greeting from the Add-On Stamp Set Dreams Are Made in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor Card and then used my Mini Ink Blending Tool to apply some Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. I blended them together and then used a dry paper towel to buff the excess ink off of the heat embossed parts. The fairy is again from the Main Kit and is stamped in Hero Arts Intense Black Ink and colored in with my Gansai Tambi Watercolors. She is cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also heat embossed the wand in Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder and cut that out with my Scissors. The background is adhered to the card base with E-Z Runner and the fairy and wand with 3D Foam Squares. For a little added sparkle I stamped the stardust in Encore Silver Metallic Ink. Love the emboss-resist background and the watercolored fairy, she looks so happy floating up there in the night sky!

I just can’t say enough about how lovely the weather has been here! And down by the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store there is a breeze all the time that is just heavenly! Lots got accomplished at the store today! My friend Sue came by to help me, she so awesome! We got everything cut for Card Class. I made a custom stamp for someone with my Mint! That was fun! When I got home my little buddy Daniel was at my Parent’s. I had dinner and then he and I played with his trucks and made it rain grass on them which he thought was pretty awesome! I’m sure that when he starts doing that at my Brother’s house I will hear about it! LOL! He went to see his sister yesterday, here is a little picture of that…

Daniel & Tristan

I think that he will make a very good big brother! He even combed her hair while he was there! The rest of the evening was pretty quiet, just how I wanted it to be! ūüėÄ

For my projects today I’m participating in a blog¬†hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from my good friend¬†Dena’s¬†blog, welcome! This month we have a Shabby Chic¬†theme! Not really a style that I’m good at but¬†I’m up for¬†trying anything! I have two cards and a fun little box to share with you!

Both of the cards use most of the same elements. They both have bases of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock covered in a piece of Early Espresso. The patterned paper on both is the same too, it’s from Blue Fern and is from the Timeless Collection. The flowers on both cards are from the Altenew Botanical Garden Photopolymer Stamp Set and are heat embossed on Tim Holtz Watercolor Card with Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. I used¬†Dusty Concord, Pumice Stone and Bundled Sage Distress Inks and a Waterbrush to color in the flowers and then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. On the first card I adhered a piece of the Timeless Paper to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner after distressing the edges. A Tea Lace Paper Doily is then adhered to the left side. On top of that is another piece of the Timeless Paper under a piece of Gold Mirror Card that I cut out with the Spellbinders Savoy Decorative Accent Nestabilities. My flowers are adhered with Foam Tape and Dot Runner. For the greeting I heat embossed the hello from the Altenew Halftone Hello Photopolymer Stamp Set in more Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder and cut it and piece of Fun Foam out with the Coordinating Die. It’s adhered to the card with Multi-Matte Medium. A scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Gold and Amethyst Sequins finishes the card.

The second card also has a piece of the Timeless Paper adhered with E-Z Runner. I cut another piece to 3 1/2″ x 4″, distressed the edges and adhered that with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. A few loose loops of May Arts Twine are adhered under the flowers on this card. My greeting is from the Altenew Painted Greetings Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold on a piece of Early Espresso with the right side flagged. Some Foam Tape adhered that to the card and some Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins complete the card.

My box is cut from the same Blue Fern Timeless Paper using the Spellbinders Makers Mart Month 4 Die Set. I then used some more of the dies to cut feathers out of Gold Mirror Card and leaves out of green card stock. They and a flower that I found at the store along with a piece of the Twine that I tied into a bow are adhered to the top of the box. A super fun and simple project to make!

What started out as a nice sunny morning turned into November! LOL! Around 1:00 it started to pour and got really windy! I choose to wear shorts and flip flips today, bad choice! I did manage to get a few projects done at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store! It was a good day to be crafty at work! When I got home I had some dinner at my parent’s, my mum had gone over to see our neighbor whose husband had just passed away. They have been friends for a while and she is a very nice lady. My Dad and I chatted for a bit and then I came home and Taylor was here napping on the couch with binge watching Secrets of Magic on Netflix through her eyelids! Around 9:00 I ran up to BJ’s to get some stuff for work and bumped into Sue and her husband Joe. We talked for a while waiting on line. I miss seeing Sue! When I got back home I finished up my card and then typed my post before calling it a day. I have my Stamping 101 Class tonight, that should be fun!

For my projects today I’m participating in a blog¬†hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from my good friend Andrea’s blog, welcome! This month we have a Summer Lovin’¬†theme!¬†Ahh, Summer love, I have had one of those, I miss it!

First up I have a card. The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the front covered in a piece of My Colors Slate. I adhered a strip of My Colors Mini Dot Prairie Hearts Paper down the left side. Some Gold Mirror Card is cut out with the Spellbinders Twisted Metal Tags and Accents Dies using my Artisan X-Plorer, I also embossed the die cut and then adhered it to the card with Multi-Matte Medium. My flowers and leaves are form the Altenew Vintage Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set. They are stamped in Arctic, Caribbean Sky, Persian Blue and Sapphire Crisp Ink for the flowers and Morning Frost, Evening Gray and Moon Rock Crisp Ink for the leaves using my Mini MISTI. I cut them out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered them to the card with Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Altenew Label Love Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder on a piece of 46lb Vellum. I trimmed it out with my Scissors and adhered it to the flower with Kool-Tak Clear Foam Tape. I was going to add some sequins but I thought that it looked nice just the way it was!

The other project I have for you is a box¬†that I made using the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. I used the same Card Stock, Dies and Stamps to create it. I love the coordination with the card using the same stamps and shapes! It’s also a lot of fun to dig through Renee’s stash and use things that I normally wouldn’t get to use!
