Paper Craft Crew 249

Wow! It’s Wednesday already?! We did have a very nice day here yesterday with lots of sun! I spent most of the day with Sue working on Etsy stuff. We went to Panera for lunch and I had my grilled cheese and tomato soup! In the evening Jim came by and I made us some nice big salads with grilled chicken, olives, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, croutons and blue cheese dressing. Taylor came by and chatted with us for a bit and we finished the evening off with a few YouTube videos. Today I have a lot of stuff to get done! I found out that I will be away for the weekend! WEE! 😀

It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I was going through my stamps and came across this old but goodie! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Hero Arts Wave Stencil and my Stencil Brush to apply some Tide Pool Ink to the lower left. Across the lower part is a piece of Copper Tape. My circle is cut from a piece of Blueprint Curious Metallic with the Hero Arts Circle Infinity Dies and adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. The images and greeting are from the Hero Arts July 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit. I stamped the coral and jellyfish in Tide Pool and did the second layer of the jellyfish in Copper Embossing Powder. They are cut out with the Coordinating Frame Cuts and adhered to the circle. My greeting is heat embossed onto a piece of 48lb Vellum with White Hero Arts Embossing Powder and adhered to the card with Kool-Tak Clear Foam Tape. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins and done! I still love that jellyfish, makes for a nice different image on a card! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wondrous Wednesday! 🙂

It was another hot one here yesterday but I’m not complaining! It’s supposed to be cooler today, but hopefully it won’t stay that way! I puttered around in the morning and in the afternoon I went over to Stephanie’s to dangle my legs in the pool for a while! After that I came back home and Jim stopped by around 5:00. We went next door to see my Parent’s for a bit and then ran to Lowes to look at pond stuff. A little TV before bed and that was my day! 😀

Let’s see… Wednesday and we have a new Paper Craft Crew challenge for you…

As soon as I saw this I knew exactly what I wanted to do! To create my background I stamped the images from the Concord & 9th Many Mandalas Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Aquatic and Green Apple Hybrid Ink using my MISTI onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. That is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the greeting I stamped the wishing you onto the card base in Black and then the rest is heat embossed in Hero Arts White onto a piece of Black 110lb. I cut the end on an angle and adhered it to the card with 3M Foam Tape. I hoarded some of the Pretty Pink Posh Share Handmade Kindness Sequins Mix and the colors worked perfectly with the ink so I added a few to complete the card! I love the green and blue together and the mandalas make a nice background! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Inspiration Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! I thank you for stopping by today! Have yourself a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Ahh… the middle of the week. Once again zipping by! Another cloudy, misty, rainy day here. Lots of crafting in the morning, a little TV and some planning. I got to see Daniel and Tristan for a bit. My Brother and Erika went to see a concert at Jones Beach, Erika was quite excited about the night out! Taylor came by and we hung out for a while, I love my child, she’s such a good person! Hopefully it will not be raining today and I can get outside for a bit. I think I’m suffering from Sun deprivation! 😀

So what do we have for a Wednesday post? Why this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch of course…

Nice and simple! I started my card by heat embossing the images from the Concord & 9th Many Mandalas Photopolymer Stamp Set onto 48lb Vellum and Blueprint Curious Metallic. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out and layered them on top of one another. To adhere them to my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I used some 3M Foam Tape. The happy birthday is from the same set and is stamped in Hero Arts Navy Ink onto the card base. A few sequins from the Little Things by Lucy Nautical and Brushed Gold Mixes and the card is done! I love that Mandalas set, especially heat embossed on the different papers! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG so go and check it out! Thanks so much for your visit! I wish you all a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Happy mid-week already! It was another overcast day here. It didn’t rain until much later in the day but it was cloudy all day. I did a little crafting in the morning and then ran over to Sue’s to drop off some things. I went out to lunch with her and Michael, we had Panera, it’s been forever since I’ve had that! After I got home I watched a little TV and then ran a few errands. This morning I’m going to get crafty again and get some more projects out of the way! 😀

Just as an FYI I’m taking part in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life this Saturday. I’m part of Meg’s team. My Brother lost his first wife to cancer, she was 29, and I lost one of my best friends, he was 25. We have all had cancer touch our lives in some way. Let’s help put an end to this terrible disease. If you can please click HERE to donate. Thank you!

Today I have my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge to share with you…

My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I adhered a piece of paper from the Recollections Valentine’s Day 6×6 Paper Pad to the base for my background. Across the lower half is a piece of Pink Pirouette that I cut out with the Simon Says Stamp XOXO Border Die. My heart is cut from a piece of Gold Mirror Card and two pieces of Solar White 110lb using the Simon Says Stamp Scribble Heart Die. I adhered them together and to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. The greeting is from the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Schoolhouse Red and adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. Three Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins complete the card! Hearts and XOXO’s aren’t just for Valentine’s Day, they work great for a Birthday too! Hello peeps! Well, we got a little reprieve from the rain yesterday but it’s supposed to be back today. I picked up Heather at the Car Wash at 8:00, dropped her off and then took her back around 12:00. From there I went over to Sue’s to see her and Michael. I helped Michael with his new MacBook Air, it’s about time! LOL! We had a nice visit! From there I stopped at Target on the way home, had a little dinner with my Parents, spoke to Jim for a while and watched a little TV before calling it a night. Today, more crafty things to do and organizing! 😀

It’s Wednesday so it’s time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

In my cleaning I have found so many things that I haven’t gotten to use! To change it up my card base is Black 110lb. For my background I heat embossed the stars from the Simon Says Stamp Seeing Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Fog Card Stock. The top half is a piece of paper from the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss 6×6 Paper Pad. Across the middle is a strip of Gold Mirror Card. Before I adhered the panel to the card base I tied a piece of Hemptique Black Hemp Twine in a bow. I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Congratulations Die form a piece of Gold Mirror Card and two pieces of Black 110lb. They are adhered to each other and to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. I added a few stars from the Little Things by Lucy Brushed Gold Sequins Mix and some Rhinestones for a little more sparkle! I still love that Congratulations Die, one of my faves! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! It was a gorgeous day yesterday and promises to be even nicer today! I managed to get some things done around the house in the morning and then I headed over to Heather’s for lunch. We sat outside and ate on her new patio set and enjoyed the beautiful day. I came home for a bit and then headed back over there to run a few errands with her. Taylor came by later on and the three of us ran to BJ’s. Lots of stuff to get done today but it will be really hard to stay indoors! 😀

Wednesday and we have a new Paper Craft Crew challenge for you…

Nice and simple so I kept my card really simple! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the flower from the Concord & 9th Brushed Blossom Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Pool, Pool and Navy Ink, it’s cut out with my Scissors. I then stamped the leaves in Mint Julep and the spatter in Navy right onto the card base and then adhered the flower with 3M Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th You’re My Person Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Pool using my Mini MISTI so that I could double stamp it to make it nice and bold. It’s also cut out with my Scissors and adhered with more 3M Foam Tape. All that was left to do was to add some Little Things by Lucy Nautical Sparkle Sequins Mix around the flower. I really like the blues and soft green for the flower and that greeting is still one of my all time favorites! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and let’s see what you do with the sketch, share your card in the gallery with us! Thanks you very much for your visit! Hi! What’s going on by you?! I had a very productive day yesterday. I got a bunch of emails sent out and puts some plans in motion. Sometimes it’s hard to put things in perspective, but eventually you are left with no choice. The rest of the day was fun, Jim came by and we went out a got a late lunch and managed to finish the crafty project that we have been working on! Feels good to have it done. Now we’ll start working on some new ones! Today I have to run over to the Store again and then I have a bunch of projects to get started! 😀

It’s Wednesday so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I wanted a nice simple card and I haven’t used feathers in a very long time! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I adhered a strip of Gold Mirror Card with the ends flagged to it and then got to work on my center panel. The images and greeting are from the Lawn Fawn Dream Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed them and two extras onto a piece of Arches 140lb Cold Press Watercolor Card with Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. They are colored in with my Gansai Tambi Watercolors. The panel is adhered to a piece of Sugarplum and then to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. A strip of Peacock with the left end flagged is adhered along the top of the panel and the two extra feathers are cut out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts and adhered to the right side of the Peacock Strip. I added three Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins and a heavy coat of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to the feathers to complete the card! I do love the feathers, especially in the teal and purple! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for coming but today! I wish you all a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Wednesday already! It was a quiet day at the Store. Renee did have a few people in to do some make up projects. I made a few cards and spoke to Sue. After work I came home, my Parent’s were out at my Brother’s watching the kids. Jim came by and we went for a nice long walk on the bike train again. On the way back we stopped and got Zorn’s for dinner. We worked on the crafty project, we are almost finished, and watched a little TV. Today Renee is off taking care of last minute baby shower things so I’ll be alone. I’m going to try and focus on getting things done! 😀

Since it is Wednesday that means that it’s time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I did a card with a nice ink blended background! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used my Mini Ink Blending Tool to apply some Pale Tomato, Dark Quartz and Soft Vanilla Ink to a piece of Solar White 80lb and set is aside for a little while to dry. Of course after about 10 minutes I got impatient and sped up the drying with my Heat Tool. After it was completely dry I used my Powder Tool and then stamped the images from the Hero Arts Dreams are Made Photopolymer Stamp Set In Versa-Mark and heat embossed them in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. Next I used the Hero Arts Floral Border Fancy Die to cut out a piece of Deep Blue. The greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder onto a strip of Vellum that is adhered around the back of the blue die cut. I added some 3M Foam Tape to the back of the blue die cut and adhered it to the card. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins and the card is done. I do love that Dreams are Made Set, there are some fun images and great greetings in there! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! And it rained all day yesterday just like they said it would. If they were right about that then today will be more of the same. I had a busy day at the Store which is not a bad way to spend said rainy day! Jim came over when I got home and we worked on some more of the crafty project, got some Greek food for dinner and then just relaxed and watched TV. Today I’m flying solo at the Store, Renee is off to take care of some baby shower duties! 😀

It’s Wednesday and that means time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

Are you sick of the stamped backgrounds yet?! I’m still loving them! My card base for today is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the images from the Hero Arts Everything Smiles Stamp & Cut Photopolymer Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black randomly onto a piece of Solar White 80lb and colored them in with my copics. The panel is then trimmed to 3″ x 3″ and adhered to a piece of Tropical Sea and that is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I die cut the speech bubble from the same set from a piece of Wild Honey and adhered that to the card with more Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. The HI is cut from Black using the Hero Arts Alphabet Uppercase Dies. The rest of the greeting is from the Hero Arts Many Everyday Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a strip of Chinese Red. That is adhered over the speech bubble with E-Z Runner and 3D Foam Squares. I decided that the background needed a little something more so I added some dots with my Signo Gold Gel Pen and just a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins finish the card! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG to check out the rest of the Team’s cards and let’s see your take on the sketch in the gallery! Thanks so much for your visit today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Another nice day here on Long Island. We are getting ready to have like seven days of rain in a row, that should be fun! The Store was quite yesterday, Renee was off , it was her boyfriend John’s birthday. I finished getting my tax stuff together and thanks to Melissa they were filed on time! I met Jim at my house after work and we ran to Michaels to get a few supplies to continue working on our crafty project, He made dinner and we watched a little TV before calling it a night. I’ll get ready for card class today, like to have everything done well ahead of time! 😀

It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I went with some bright colors for this one! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the front covered in a piece of Lemon Lime. I used the Lawn Fawn Zig Zag Rectangles Stackables Lawn Cuts to cut out a piece of Cosmic Grape and Lollipop 12×12 Paper. The patterned paper is cut and adhered to the the front bottom and back, on a slight angle. A piece of Pink Baker’s Twine is tied in a bow to hide the seam. The panel is then adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My images and greeting are from the Lawn Fawn Sewn with Love Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the images and the second half to the greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black. The images are colored in with Copics and the Sew is stamped in Bubblegum. I used the Coordinating Lawn Cuts to cut them out and adhered them to a piece of Ballerina Pink that I cut out with the Zig Zag Circles Stackables Lawn Cuts. The circle is adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. After I finished the card I decided that the purple was a little too plain so I stamped some more images from the set in Sugarplum, then it was done! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂
