Paper Craft Crew 264

Hey there peeps! Mid-week already! I managed to get a bunch of stuff done yesterday, some computer stuff in the morning and a little cleaning in the afternoon. I do so love a productive day! Had a little dinner with my Parent’s, Dad is doing much better. I saw Taylor for a bit, she is going to Massachusetts to see a friend and has never taken Amtrak before so I get to go into Manhattan this morning and put her on the train and then come back home. Good times! LOL! 😀

Today’s card is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I felt a little Deja Vu! Typically Halloween colors but not for me! LOL! I stamped the ornament from the Concord & 9th Ornamental Photopolymer Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black and the merry and bright with Carrot using my Mini MISTI. The image is then colored in with Copics. For the ornament topper I cut out a piece of Gold Mirror Card with the Concord & 9th Ornamental Dies. The middles of the flowers have a little Singo Gold Gel Pen. The background looked a little plain so I added dots with pen, one of my favorite ways to fill in a background! Yes, it’s not your typical red and green but it’s still merry and bright! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! You can stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter your in the gallery! Thank you for your visit today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Another fun filled day! I took my Dad to the Doctor and we were there for three hours!! That’s just crazy! Most of the time was spent just sitting there. Nah, neither one of us had anything else to do, not to worry! LOL! Heather and I did a quick BJ’s run when she got home from work and then Taylor came by for some video watching. So good to spend quality time with the child! This morning I’m off to Manhattan to visit my friend Ella and maybe meet Kim for lunch. Now that’s a better day! 😀

It’s Wednesday and time for a new Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I have been so loving the super simple cards lately, not for any other reason than I love all of the white space. Onto my card Base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped the stars from the Hero Arts Merry Stamp & Cut Photopolymer Stamp Set in Lime Green, Soft Lilac and Soft Pink. The Merry is cut out with the die from the set from a piece of Black 110lb and adhered to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. All that was left to do was stamp the Christmas in Black! Super simple and fun to make, also highly mailable. Hmm… I may have just found this year’s Christmas Card! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Hey there! I had a very quiet day yesterday. Not my favorite kind of day but I guess they are necessary every once in a while. Other than some TV and a little work on the computer not much else happened. This morning I’m off to see Sue again for some Etsy work, that is always productive and fun! 😀

It’s mid-week and time for another Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I choose the row across the middle for my card and decided to use some of the leftovers on my desk to make it! I always stamp some extra when I make something in the hopes that I will use it and today I got to! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock cut to 3 3/4″ wide. My background is a piece of Desert Storm 80lb that I heat embossed the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Background onto with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder. The pumpkin is from the Hero Arts September My Monthly Hero Kit and is stamped in Orange Soda, Tangerine, Pumpkin Pie, Cup O Joe, Green Fields and Forever Green. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut it out and adhered it to a tag that is cut out with the Hero Arts Nested Tags Infinity Dies from another piece of Desert Storm 80lb. There is a little strip of Washi Tape across the bottom of the tag a piece of Natural Twine is tied through the top. My greeting is stamped in Pumpkin Pie with a few My Mind’s Eye Wicked Enamel Dots added. I adhered the tag to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner and added a little Multi-Matte Medium to hold the twine in place. Love the bright pop of the orange pumpkin against the kraft! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Hello! My apologies for my lateness this morning, I had some computer issues last night and it was a little too late to deal with them! When computers work they are amazing but buy when they don’t, not fun! I had a pretty productive day yesterday, ran some errands, did a little cleaning and some laundry. My friend Scott stopped by to take a look at installing my Ecobee Thermostat that I have had for over a year. Now that finally will get done! Last night after dinner I went over to Heather’s and hung out with her and Stephanie. This morning I have a little project that I’m working on for Jim so I’ll see if I can get that finished and then maybe some more work on the cabinets! 😀

I did get my card made for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge last night, this week we have some colors to work with…

I’m still appreciating the simpler cards lately and this one is definitely simple! I used my Mini MISTI to stamp the tree and a few of the layers of leaves from the Hero Arts Color Layering Fall Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cup O Joe, Just Rust, Lemon Yellow and Emerald Green onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The greeting is stamped in Just Rust under the tree. For a little more interest I added Pretty Pink Posh Copper, Lemon Yellow and Peacock Feather Sequins and a few Matte Copper ones too. I really do love the simplicity of this card, the colors reminded me of the trees in PA, turning but with a lot of green left! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! You can stop by the BLOG for more inspiration and then share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you so much for coming by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

What started out as a what am I going to do day yesterday got quite busy! I ended up driving into Manhattan with Heather yesterday to drop off a computer that I had worked on for my friend Isabella. We made it in in about an hour and a half even though it’s UN Week. It did take us 45 minutes to go the last two miles! We had a nice visit with Isabella, no where near long enough and we made it back home in about and hour. Before I dropped Heather off we had some Subway for lunch and then I came back home. The rest of the day was spent dealing with phone upgrades with AT&T which I can assure you is never fun! I’ll be getting some cleaning done today, good stuff! 😀

It’s Paper Craft Crew time and this week we have a sketch for you…

Another simple one! I started by stamping the leaf from the Concord & 9th Lace Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set in Just Rust onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Next I heat embossed one of the greetings from the set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of 65lb Vellum and flagged the left side. To hold it to the card I adhered a strip of Desert Storm down the right side and tucked the vellum under it. A little strip of Gold Glitter Card is adhered near the top right of the greeting and some Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins to finish the card! I think that leaf is definitely my all time favorite and the greeting is a really nice one too! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! I am happy to report that I had a really nice Birthday!! Brian came over with lunch and we watched some of the Apple iPhone event. I cleaned a little and then Jim came by after work. We watched a little TV and then went out to dinner. After that we ran a few errands and then watched a little more TV. He got me some very thoughtful gifts too! I’m so thankful for my fiends! And I want to thank all of you for my Birthday wishes! You guys are awesome! Today, I think maybe back to work on the cabinets! 😀

It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I kept my card nice and simple! I stamped the balloons from the Concord & 9th Happy Balloons Photopolymer Stamp Set in Carrot, Fish Tank, Lobster and Plastic Flamingo onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb and Solar White 80lb. The ones stamped on the 80lb are cut out with the Coordinating Die and adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Here’s the Scoop Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Lobster. That’s it, nice and simple but definitely bright and colorful! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Inspiration Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Paper Craft Crew 258… Again! & Etsy!

Hello my friends! I finished taking down the wallpaper border in the kitchen yesterday. Stephanie stopped by and dropped off some heavy duty remover for the stubborn glue that wouldn’t come off and she hung out for a bit. I would like it if someone would be kind enough to send some paint stripping gnomes to help get the paint off of the cabinets! There are probably about 5 layers on there, not going to be a fun process at all! It’s supposed to rain today so I probably won’t get to start it until tomorrow, gives me time to mentally prepare myself! LOL! 😀

I promised a few weeks ago that I would let you know when all of my purge goodies were up on my friend’s Etsy Store and today is the day! There are over 150 new sets, some brand new and some gently used all up to 50% off retail! Head on over by clicking HERE and check everything out!

So last week I inadvertently posted my card for the Paper Craft Crew challenge and it wasn’t really supposed to go up until this week. I made a new card so you get a twofer! Here is the sketch once again…

I used the May 2017 My Monthly Hero Kit to create today’s card! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My background is a piece of Pool Party, on the bottom portion I used the Stencil from the Kit and some Tide Pool Ink with a Mini Ink Blending Tool. Across the panel is a piece of Calypso Coral that is flagged on the right along with some coral cut out using a Die from the Kit. The images are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and I colored them in with my Copics and then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. They are adhered wth 3D Foam Squares to a piece of 65lb Vellum that is cut out with the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies and that is then adhered to the background. I stamped the greeting from the Kit and then adhered to the panel to the card with E-Z Runner and Fun Foam. A few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins complete the card! I do think that the mermaid and the stencil are quite fun, don’t you?! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for the Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! It was overcast here all morning and then the rain started around 2:00. I went over to Heather’s and we ran some errands, had a little lunch and then did an early Thirsty Thursday last night with Stephanie. Not bad for a rainy Tuesday! I’ll get back to my cleaning and purging this morning. I can’t seem to stop which is a good thing! 😀

For our mid-week fun I have my Paper Craft Crew card…

Maybe it was the gloom and chill yesterday but I felt compelled to make a winter card. LOL! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For my background I used a piece of paper from the Trim Craft Silent Night 6×6 Paper Pad with a piece of Soft Sky across the bottom and then a flagged piece of Smoky Slate along the center. The images and greeting are from the Hero Arts Kelly’s S’Mitten Stamp & Cut and they are stamped in Soft Granite and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I adhered the panel to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner and the Snow Day and Mittens with 3D Foam Squares with a little Silver Thread behind. Five Pretty Pink Posh Silver Sequins finish the card. I’m not looking forward to the colder weather but I do love me some winter colors! Yesterday was an interesting day indeed. I got a call from Heather around 9:30 asking me if I would come be her house. She had a meeting with her manager at 10:00 via phone and thought that she was going to be laid off. Guess what… that’s exactly what happened. They are cutting about 50% of the workforce from her company. Such fun times we live in. I took a ride with her to her office to pick up her things and drop off her laptop. For a little cheering up after we went by Stephanie’s and went in the pool with the kids. I haven’t been in a pool all Summer and it was nice! After that I came home and worked on a few things. Taylor stripped by later on and we ran a few errands. This morning I’m off to Sue’s for some more Etsy fun! 😀

Mid-week and time for a new Paper Craft Crew challenge…

Today’s card may be one of the simpliest ones that I have made! I was digging around in the Stampin’ Galley and came across a set that I don’t think I have ever used! It’s the Simon Says Stamp To Thine Own Shelf Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the shelves in Kahaki and the books in Thistle, Lake Shores, Catkin and the clock in Smoke. My greeting is stamped in Khaki and that’s the card! It’s a fun card, especially for a book lover! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Back to School Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery to share with us! Thanks for stopping by! Have a wicked Wednesday! 🙂

It was a gloomy day here yesterday and despite my best efforts to be productive you know how it goes when it’s gloomy! I binge watched some Netflix and caught up with a few friends. Some stuff did get done but not as much as I had planned. Today is another day and another chance to get caught up! How is your week going?! 😀

Let’s see… it’s Wednesday so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I started my card with the usual card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The images and greeting are from the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the hydrangea in Moonstone and the leaves in Noble Fir. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies. On my card base I added a strip of Silver Glitter Washi Tape and then the leaves and flower with 3M Foam Tape. My greeting is stamped in Noble Fir and just a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Silver Sequins finishes the card! I do love that hydrangea, especially in the Moonstone Ink! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see what the rest of the Team has made and let’s see your take in the gallery!
