Pals Paper Arts 203 & Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you wonderful mothers out there! Where would we be without you? In big trouble and if the truth be told not here at all! I do have a Mother’s Day card for you today but it’s not mine. I had a very nice relaxing day yesterday. I got my haircut and then crafted for a bit. I watched some TV and then Andrew stopped by to make his mom a Mother’s Day card. I think he did a great job! He used the Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers and even did some fussy cutting! I have the pictures to prove it too! Here he is coloring…

Andrew Coloring

And here he is fussy cutting…

Andrew Fussy Cutting

The funny thing is I asked him if he wanted a stamp that had a Framelit and he said yes. After he cut them out he didn’t like the white around the flower so he ended up cutting them out anyway. He did an awesome job coloring and cutting. He did some heat embossing too. And here is the card that he made for his mom…

Andrew MD 2014-WM

I think he did a great job! I’m sure that she will love it! And the flowers are just amazing! You’ll have to let us know what you think! 🙂

Now off to my card which is for this week’s Pals Paper Arts color challenge…

PPA 203

When I see theses colors I think of fall but I decided that if your mom liked the colors my card might even make a good Mother’s Day card! LOL! I needed a collage style card. There are a lot of goodies on it so be warned! The base of the card is Cajun Craze Card Stock. I adhered one of the Tea Lace paper Doilies in the right corner for a little background. Next up is a piece of Very Vanilla that I cut the top edge of with the File Tabs Edgelits Dies. I stamped the greeting from the Countless Sayings 1 & 2 Photopolymer Stamp Sets in Night of Navy. In the lower right is a piece of Night of Navy that I cut out with the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die and then trimmed some of it away. The angled strip of Cajun Craze is embossed with the Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and on top of it are two tickets from the That’s the Ticket Stamp Set. They are stamped in Night of Navy and punched out with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch. Above that is a piece of Night of Navy that I cut out with one of the elements from the Circle Card Thinlits Dies. The xoxo is from the same and is cut out from a piece of Gold Foil Sheet. My tag is a piece of Night of Navy that I used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and the Project Life Corner Rounder on. I also Paper-Pierced around the edge with the Eclectic Paper-Piercing Pack*. A piece of Natural 5/8″ Chevron Ribbon tied with some White Bakers Twine goes through the top. My flowers are from the Secret Garden Stamp Set and are stamped in Cajun Craze on Cajun Craze. I used the Gold Stampin’ Dazzle Marker to make the centers. Last up is a Regals Designer Button adhered with the new Fast Fix Adhesive. Like I said there is a lot but I think that it all works quite well together. I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Pals Paper Arts color challenge and also Andrew’s Mother’s Day Card. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that you all have a great Sunday and a wonderful Mother’s Day! 🙂

SplitCoast Creative Crew

So after all of that rain that we had yesterday, and I think they said that we got around 6 inches, the sun came out around noon and it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon! We got up to 68 degrees, made the rain yesterday sort of worth it. It was so nice to go outside and feel the warm sun and not have to wear a jacket! And today is Friday! What could be better than that! I don’t have anything specific planned for the weekend with the exception of some projects to make. It should be a great weekend too because I get my Catalog pre-order today, yes I overnighted it! The addiction continues! LOL!

My post for today is a big one. I have been asked to join the SplitCoast Creative Crew again! I had so much fun making the projects when I was on last year I was happy to join the talented group of 24 people this time around! I have four projects for you today, three cards and a mini album. Lets get to them!

My first card is for the DSP/Color Focus: Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Gumball Green, Smoky Slate. We are asked to use a technique of our choosing that imitates our watercolor wonder designer papers. I love the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper so here is my take. The base of the card is Island Indigo Card Stock. I used a piece of Gumball Green and Daffodil Delight to create the mat for my piece of Watercolor Card Stock. Using the Flower Shop Stamp Set I inked the stamp in Island Indigo, Gumball Green and Daffodil Delight. I spritzed them each time with water from my Stampin’ Spritzer and stamped each one three times to create the background. I stamped them again in the same colors on some Whisper White and punched them out with the Pansy Punch. My leaves are from the Secret Garden Stamp Set and are stamped in Basic Gray and cut out with the Secret Garden Framelits. The leaves are adhered to the background with Multi-Purpose Glue and the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals. My greeting is from the Quite the Pair Stamp Set and is stamped in Smoky Slate and cut out with my Paper Snips. I really do love the effect that spritzing water on the stamp gives the image and the colors are nice and bright!

CCREW0514DF-JK-WM

My next card is for the Catalog Focus: scoring tools. We are asked to use all or one of these scoring tools-Simply Scored Tool, Simply Scored Borders Plate and/or Simply Scored Diagonal Plate to add interest to a gatefold card. My card base is Daffodil Delight Card Stock cut so it’s a gatefold card. The two Whisper White panels on the front are created using the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate. It gives it a lattice like look. The flowers and butterfly are from the Polka-Dot Pieces Stamp Set and are stamped in Melon Mambo, Island Indigo and Night of Navy. I used the 1 3/4″ and 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punches and the Elegant Butterfly Punch to punch them out. I created a belly band from a piece of Pear Pizzaz and adhered all of my stamped images to it with SNAIL and Stampin’ Dimensionals. My greeting is from the A Round Array Stamp Set and is stamped in Night of Navy and punched out with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch. I love the lattice look behind the flowers and the colors are inspired by the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper. A fun simple card, don’t you think?!

CCREW0514CF-JK-WM

My third card is for the Holiday Focus: National Photograph Month. We are asked to create a card that looks like a photograph by putting a border around our image and making the image glossy. You may use On Film Framelits or make your own, you may use Window Sheets for glossiness or Crystal Effects. My card starts off with a base of Whisper White Card Stock. The background is a piece of Soft Suede that I stamped in Soft Suede with the Hardwood Background Stamp. My greeting is from the A Dozen Thoughts Stamp Set and is heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The stamped images are from the Secret Garden Stamp Set, the flowers are stamped in Elegant Eggplant and the leaves in Garden Green. I masked them off to give it a more realistic look. A piece of Whisper White is cut out with the On Film Framelits. I adhered it and a piece of Window Sheet to the Soft Sky stamped piece and the to the card. Very clever the way the Window Sheet does really make it look like a glossy photo, I’ll definitely do that again!

CCREW0514HF-JK-WM

The final project is for the Scrapbook and More Focus: Mini Books. I used the new Project Life by Stampin’ Up! Cards, Stamps and Framelits to create my mini book. The cover and back are Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzaz that I cut out with the Project Life Cars & Labels Framelits Dies. On the cover I cut the speech bubble out with the Word Bubbles Framelits and stamped the stars from the Project Life Point & Click Photopolymer Stamp Set in Basic Black. The NYC is from the Sans & Stripes Photopolymer Stamp Set and is also stamped in Basic Black. All of the pages in the middle are the cards from the Everyday Adventure Project Life Cards Collection and I rounded the corners using the Project Life Corner Rounder. I used the Washi tape from the Everyday Adventure Project Life Accessory Pack to “hold” the photos in place and some Bermuda Bay 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon to hold the cards together. I love the way you can see the photo on the first page through the Word Bubble! A fun simple mini book using the new Project Life by Stampin’ Up! line. Pretty neat huh?!

I hope that you enjoyed my rather lengthy post today for my projects for this month’s SplitCoast Creative Crew Design Team challenges. I had a great time making them! Thank you very much for spending a little extra time with me today, I hope that you have an awesome Friday! 🙂

Pals Paper Arts 200

I know I say it every week, but boy am I happy that it’s Friday! There are rumors that we may get out of work early today. Let’s hope that holds true! It was cold and windy here again yesterday, I’d like to know where spring has gone. Tonight I’m supposed to go out to dinner with Anthony and Bill, we’ll probably do Friday’s because I have about 386 points on my Stripes card, which I think equates to all of us eating for free. LOL! I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s snippet of Satellite Lane. As soon as they get the edited video back from the videographer, I will post the link to that. What kind of plans do you all have to get your weekend started? Today’s post is a special one. It is the 200th Pals Paper Arts challenge! Woo-hoo! This week, the Pals have given us a sketch with a twist…

I got my April Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail yesterday which I’m sure you have all seen since Stampin’ Up! posted the early video of it. That’s what I used for my greeting on today’s card. The base of the card is Real Red Card Stock and my two panels are both pieces of paper from the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack and both of them are backed with Whisper White. The top panel is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the bottom panel is adhered with SNAIL. Like I said, my greeting comes from this month’s Paper Pumpkin and is heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I cut it out with the Circles Collection Framelits and that too is adhered to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. It needed a little something more, so I used the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and some Whisper White to punch out some flowers and gave them a little extra pop by sticking a rhinestone in the center of each one. I used the Stampin’ Pierce Mat and the Paper-Piercing Tool to shape the flowers and give them a nice three-dimensional look. As you can see, I’ve accepted both the sketch and the monochromatic challenge, which by the way, was the twist! I’ve been on a bit of a heat embossing kick lately, I’m just really liking the way it looks. The Photopolymer Stamps make a nice, crisp image, too. I hope you enjoyed my card for this week’s special 200th Pals Paper Arts challenge. Your visit, as always, is much appreciated! I hope your weekend gets off to a fantastic start to your weekend! 🙂

Mojo 340

It was another very nice day here again yesterday. The temperature got up into the low 60’s and the sun was out all day. After that Winter I’m really appreciating the nice weather! Work was busy but I did get to take a field trip to one of my favorite places, the Apple Store. I had to pick up an iMac for the COO. After work I went to my parents for dinner and my brother, his wife and little Daniel were there. He really is just the cutest, happiest little guy. He has a great smile and laughs all the time. Taylor was there too and she got a tattoo for her birthday of Zero from the Nightmare Before Christmas, her favorite movie. After, I came home and crafted for a bit and attempted to get my stuff together for my taxes, it just dawned on me that I only have 5 days left! LOL!

My post for today is for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch from Julee Tilman…

Mojo340

I decided that I wanted to make a card that only used Photopolymer Stamps. The new ones in the last two Paper Pumpkin kits are Photopolymer so I included them too! I also wanted to use some different colors. My card starts off with a base of Daffodil Delight Card Stock and the background is a piece of Chocolate Chip. My tilted panel is Very Vanilla and the chevron stamp is from last month’s Paper Pumpkin kit. I stamped it in Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango on opposite sides of the top and bottom. A piece of Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon is adhered around the back and then I adhered the panel to the card base with SNAIL. The three circles are from the February Paper Pumpkin kit and are also stamped in Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango. I cut the large circle out with the Circles Collection Framelits, I originally used the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch but there was a white border around the circle that just didn’t fit with the look of the card. The other two circles are punched out with the 1 3/8″ and 1″ Circle Punches. The greeting is from the Show and Tell 2 Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Chocolate Chip on a piece of Daffodil Delight which I flagged the right side of before adhering it and the circles to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A Brights Collection Designer Button adhered to the ribbon with a Mini Glue Dot finishes off the card. I really like the retro feel of the card which I attribute to the colors. Often times I take color inspiration from a DSP, but I was proud of myself for coming up with a funky color combination! I hope you are inspired to try some different color combinations yourself and that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I appreciate your visit and hope that you have an amazing day!

Control Freaks March Blog Tour!

freakwelcome2013

It’s that time again! Welcome to this month’s Control Freaks Blog Tour! This month our theme is Spring/Easter. Speaking of Spring, I’m hoping that the weather cooperates, I’m pretty done with Winter as I’m sure that all of you are too! If you are following the tour you have arrived here from the talented Debbie Henderson’s blog. This month I have two cards and one fun project inspired by friend Nicole from work.

Up first I have a fun bright card that definitely feels like Spring. The card base is a piece of Whisper White Card Stock. I took another piece of Whisper White and stamped it with the Simple Stems Stamp Set in Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Perfect Plum randomly. Next up is a piece of Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper. My greeting is from the Memorable Moments Stamp Brush Set and cut out from a piece of Elegant Eggplant with my E-Cutter. The you is from the Countless Sayings 1 Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Elegant Eggplant.  I used the 3/16″ Corner Rounder on the corners of the DSP and adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. My flagged piece of Whisper White is stamped with a stamp from the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set in Perfect Plum. A piece of twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack is tied in a bow and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot. To finish the card I used the 1″ Circle Punch to punch out a piece of Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper. In the middle is a piece of Elegant Eggplant, punched out with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and I used some Crystal Effects on it to give it some shine.

CF March Blog Tour Card 1-WM

Next up is a card that reminds me of a country picnic. The base is Daffodil Delight Card Stock, a piece of Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape goes across the top. Some Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper Is flagged and also used for the center of the Tea Lace Paper Doily, punched out with the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch. The tag is from the Notable Notions Stamp Set and is stamped in Island Indigo. I used the Chalk Talk Framelits Dies to cut it out and stamped the flowers from the Springtime Hello Stamp Set, stamped in Pear Pizzaz. Tucked under the tag is a piece of 1 1/4″ Burlap Ribbon that is flagged too. My greeting is also from the Notable Notions Stamp Set, I stamped it in Night of Navy on one of the Essentials Wooden Elements. Love that it fits right on there!

CF March Blog Tour Card 2-WM

My final project is the one that I mentioned was inspired by my friend Nicole. She came into work one day with her Country Living Magazine and showed me this neat project. It was a set of coasters made from Mason Jar lids with some cork that was stamped with Staz-On. I thought they were so cool and would make a fun gift. I found some lids on Amazon and I already had a ton of the adhesive cork sheet. I cut the cork sheet out using my Circles Collection Framelits. The images are from the By the Tide Stamp Set and are stamped in Jet Black Staz-On. I decided that they needed to be dressed up a bit so I used one of the Mini Muslin Bags and stamped the lobster from the same set in Cherry Cobbler. My tag is made with the Angled Tag Topper Punch and still more of the stamps are stamped in Marina Mist, Soft Suede and Smoky Slate. I slid the coasters in and tied the tag to the bag. Pretty neat little gift right?! Nicole thought they were!

Freshly Made Sketches 127

Well that was a very nice Friday! Work was quiet and the day went quick. Dinner was very tasty. I had the Blue Cheese Stacked Burger and endless Sweet Potato fries (4 servings to be exact!) and we even had some Brownie Obsession for dessert, you have to mix it up sometimes! Today will be a get some stuff done sort of day. I’m going to watch the wee ones for a bit this morning and then a haircut (finally!) at 1:45. After that who knows!

My card for today is for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge. Resident artist Jen T. has given us this great sketch to work with…

Freshly Made Sketches #127

I needed a collage card and for some reason when I looked at the sketch I saw tickets! My card base is Very Vanilla Card Stock. I used the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set and some Night of Navy and Encore Gold Metallic Ink to randomly stamp one of the images a few times. My tickets are a piece of Crumb Cake that I sponged with Night of Navy and and some paper from the Etcetera Designer Series Paper Pack, the corners are punched with the Ticket Corner Punch and they are adhered at angle to each other and to the card base. There is also a small piece of Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape on the right. The greeting is stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla that I sponged with some Pool Party. The stamped images are from the Countless Sayings 2 Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Night of Navy. My ampersand is a piece of adhesive cork sheet that I cut out with the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies. The heart was in the scrap pile and just wanted to put on there! A piece of crumb cake is stamped with the Hardwood Background Stamp in Crumb Cake and the Small Heart Punch and 1″ Circle Punch punch it out. A piece of Gold Foil Sheet is cut out with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and the heart/circle and butterfly are adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few random sequins complete the card. Collage style is definitely my favorite and you can keep it pretty clean for a collage. I really hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge from Jen T. Thanks a lot for visiting and enjoy your Saturday! 🙂

Paper Players 185

Monday, why must you come so quickly when I was having such a nice weekend?! Yesterday was a very nice day. I crafted in the morning and then went over to Heather’s house to watch the Bethpage St. Patrick’s Day Parade (I know, I thought it was a bit early too!) and after we headed over to Headquarters for some food and fun. It was nice to see so many people that I haven’t seen in a while. I left around 5:00 to go and meet Sandy for dinner. We went to the Pastrami King in Merrick. WOW! It was absolutely delicious! We talked and caught up, I don’t get to see Sandy as much as I would like to but we are going to work on changing that! I came home and spent the rest of the evening getting caught up. How was your weekend?

Monday, you know what that means?! It’s time for this week’s Paper Players challenge. For this week Ann has give us a “Thankful for Spring” challenge…

Paper Players #185

I tried something different on my card today but we’ll get to that in a minute. For my base I used a piece of Real Red Card Stock. The background on the right is a piece of the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper and the left is a piece of Soft Sky. Here is my something different, I took a piece of the Naturals 7/8″ Ribbon and used a Stampin’ Spritzer and some Coastal Cabana ink mixed with alcohol to dye the ribbon. On top of that is another piece of the Fresh Prints DSP and a combination of Mini Glue Dots and Sticky Strip hold it all in place. I used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and the 3/16″ Corner Rounder to make my tag. The leaves are from the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set and are stamped in Crumb Cake. The flowers; stamped in Soft Sky, Coastal Cabana and Real Red; are from the Petite Petals Stamp Set and are punched out with the Petite Petals Punch. My greeting is from the Another Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Coastal Cabana. A piece of Natural 5/8″ Chevron Ribbon tied with some Crumb Cake Bakers Twine finishes off the tag. I love the way the Natural 7/8″ Ribbon looks dyed and I really love the way the tag came out! And there you have my card for this week’s Paper Players Theme challenge from Ann. I really hope that you enjoyed the card and I tank you for visiting with me! Have a great Monday! 🙂

Yeah! Thursday! One more day to go until… FRIDAY! It snowed here yesterday morning but thankfully it didn’t amount to anything. We are supposed to get another storm on Sunday night, fingers crossed that it’s not snow and rain instead! I had a nice day yesterday. The best part was doing my Stampin’ Up! Webinar last night. It was the same one that I did at Leadership, Pinteresting. Thank you to all of you that joined in and if you missed it it will we posted sometime next week on the Demonstrator site. I also want to thank Katie Adams and Brian Pilling for their assistance last night. You guys are awesome! 🙂

Today’s post is for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I love it when they mix it up and this week is one of those weeks that they did just that. Julee Tilman has given us this tall skinny sketch…

Mojo334

This was one of those times that I knew exactly what I was going to do when I saw the sketch! My card starts off with a base of Whisper White Card Stock and the background consists of four layers. The top one is just a simple piece of Sahara Sand. The bottom three are Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party and Pistachio Pudding. I used my Fringe Scissors on each piece and overlapped them. My tag is created with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and some Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper backed with a piece of Whisper White to make it a little more sturdy. I tied a piece of twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack throughout the top of the tag and mounted it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The bird is from the Natures’s Hello Host(ess) Stamp Set and is stamped in Pool Party and cut out with the Backyard Basics Framelits. Behind him is a piece of Pistachio Pudding that I stamped with one of the stamps form this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit in Pistachio Pudding and punched out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. Behind that is a piece of Summer Starfruit that is punched out with the 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch. I adhered it to the tag and done! I really do like the stamps in the Nature’s Hello Stamp Set, they are neat because they have the greeting inside the image. Hopefully the Fringe Scissors with be back in stock soon, they are so much fun! Thank you very much for stopping by to see my Mojo Monday card for this week’s sketch challenge. I hope that you all have a terrific Thursday and I’ll see you back here tomorrow for my Fab Friday Design Team card. I did something a little different and you’ll have to let me know what you think! 🙂

Paper Players 181

So, the Superbowl was great huh?! Ok, I’ll admit the only thing that I watched was the half-time show. I thought that it was a pretty good show, Bruno Mars sounds good live and appearance by the Red Hot Chili Peppers was neat if not a bit odd. There was plenty of food and friends to keep me occupied. My friend Michelle brought over fresh strawberries with caramel, chocolate ganachè, peanut butter and cream cheese dip for them. They were delicious and I had a hard time picking a favorite, so I sampled them a few times! LOL! I also had a nice day in Manhattan, I visited some people in the morning and then met my friend Kim for some lunch. We ate fresh, I had my usual BMT, I haven’t had it in a long time and it was yummy! I then stopped by my friend Julia’s house and her little girl Cecily gave me a card that she made for me. It’s so cute! I think we have a future crafter on our hands!

I even got some pictures for you. I was walking down the famous Park Avenue and snapped these. The first one is facing downtown and the second one is facing uptown.

My post today is for this week’s Paper Players, but before I get to that I wanted to thank LeAnne for choosing my card for her Cut Above in last week’s challenge. You can see my original post HERE and the Paper Players winners post HERE. Now for this week the lovely Anne Marie has given us this theme challenge…

Paper Players #181

As I was siting there pondering what I was going to do I spied a Vintage set of Framelits and that’s where the idea for this card began. My card base is Whisper White Card Stock. I stamped my sentiment on a piece of Coastal Cabana from the Countless Sayings 2 Photopolymer Stamp Set in Baked Brown Sugar. On the bottom part I embossed a piece of Baked Brown Sugar with the Scallops Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. My lollipops are form the Sweets for the Sweet Stamp Set and are stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush and punched out with the 1″ Circle Punch. I used bamboo skewers for the sticks and adhered them to the card with Multi-Purpose Glue. A piece of Window Sheet stamped with the “Vintage” Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set in Opaque White Staz-On and cut out with the “Vintage” Cannery Framelits Dies is adhered to the skewers with more Multi-Purpose Glue. To cover up the glue I cut out a piece of Champagne Glimmer Paper with the heart from the Circle Card Thinlits Dies and adhered it with a Stampin’ Dimensional. I love the Window Sheet stamped with the Opaque White Staz-On, it really does look like glass and the Champagne Glimmer Heart give the card just a little bit of sparkle! Thank you for stopping by to see my card for this week’s Paper Players theme challenge. I hope you all have a great Monday! 🙂

SUO Challenges 86

Snow, more snow, I don’t really care for snow. We have had a lot of snow this year already. I would like the winter that we had two years ago, I think we had one snow storm and then the that was it. I did like that a lot! LOL! Yesterday was a pretty good day for a Monday, not too insane at work and quiet when I got home. I crafted a little and then watched the Sing Off. I don’t watch TV at all usually, thanks Andrew! LOL!

My post for today is for the SUO Challenges and this week we have a very timely challenge for you. It actually helped me out a lot! We ask you to create last minute Christmas cards and gifts. I definitely needed some more cards and I wanted them to be easy to make a bunch of. I looked around for the perfect stamp set and settled on the Endless Wishes Photopolymer Set. It’s one of our most popular sets! The bases of the cards are all Very Vanilla Card Stock. Pieces of Cherry Cobbler make a nice base for my stamped panel. Some more Very Vanilla takes on the stamps. I used Soft Sky, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Gumball Green for the snowflakes. All of the greetings are stamped in Cherry Cobbler to tie in the backing. Simple but fun and way better than any boxed cards you could buy and so much more personal! When you have a lot of cards to send out simple can be great! I hope you enjoyed my stack of last minute Christmas cards for the SUO Challenges. Head on over to the blog to get some more ideas for your last minute projects and share one of yours with us by adding it to the gallery. Thanks for spending some time with me today and enjoy! 🙂
