Old Parisian Floral Greetings

Happy mid-week peeps! The weather has been nice here, warm but good convertible weather which still is my favorite way to get around! I did get a different car, still a convertible, and I love it even more! Also high on the agenda, I have been trying organize the Craft Closet and it’s a little overwhelming! It’s so hard to part with anything. LOL! But sometimes you come across something that you completely forgot about and remember how much you loved it. I used just such a find on my card for today!

I started out by using the Spellbinders Diamond Floral Frame Set from Yana. All of the flowers and frame are foiled with Spellbinders Gold Hot Foil using my Crafter’s Companion Foilpress and Gemini Jr onto two shades of green and two shades of purple 110lb Card Stock. I used Neenah Solar White 110lb for the frame. The coordinating dies in the set are used to cut out all of the elements. My greeting is from the Spellbinders Yana’s Sentiments Hot Foil Set. It’s also foiled in gold and I cut out three blanks to add to it to give it some dimension. The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb and to that I added a piece of Purple 110lb Card Stock that I embossed with the Cuttlebug Old Paris Embossing Folder. It’s an oldie but still so cool! Next I added the elements to the card with Bearly Arts Glue and 3D Foam Tape. To finish it off I added some Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins.

I do really still love that Embossing Folder, unfortunately it’s hard to find as it’s from 2015! But you can always do a google search and get it! I hope that you enjoyed today’s card and I thank you for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday!

Paper Craft Crew 327 – Sketch!

Two days in a row?! That hasn’t happened in a long time! LOL! I was FaceTiming with Andrea on Monday and she sent me this week’s sketch to nudge me to make a card. It does feel good to be creating again. The Mojo comes in spurts but at least it’s coming. I’m going to try and get in the Stampin’ Galley again today! Wish me luck! ๐Ÿ˜€

Today’s card is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch challenge…

I got to play with some more new goodies from this month’s Concord & 9th release! They are definitely one of my favorite companies! I love the innovative products they come up with! I used the Concord & 9th Floral Print Silhouettes Stamps and Dies along with a few other oldies but goodies for my card. To start I stamped the circle of flowers from the Concord & 9th Floral Print Silhouette Photopolymer Stamp Set in Black Licorice, Jalapeรฑo and Sunflower Ink with my Mini MISTI. To cut it out I used the circle die from the Concord & 9th Birthday Basics Dies. Next, I cut out a piece of Sunflower Card Stock with the Hero Arts Circle Infinity Dies. My banner is from the Concord & 9th Best Banners Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped two of them in Jalapeรฑo and cut them out with my Scissors. A piece of Fun Foam cut out with another of the Circle Infinity Dies is added to the back of the floral circle and adhered to the Sunflower circle with the banners sandwiched in between. The deer is cut from a piece of Solar White 80lb for the head and some Super Gold Curious Metallic for the antlers. I added the circles to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and stamped my greeting in Black Licorice. The deer is added with 3M Foam Tape. For a little sparkle I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins to the flower centers and applied a heavy coat of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to the deer head. I love that floral circle and actually wish that it was big enough to cover a card front! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Thanks for coming by again today! Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 186 – Vellum!

Hey there! I hope that your week is off to a good start! I had a nice weekend, got some stuff done, not as much as I wanted to but isn’t that always the case! We are supposed to be getting snow today, I don’t want any of that thanks! LOL! I guess we have been lucky so far and it was bound to run out eventually. Here’s to hoping that it’s only an inch or two. ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time once again for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog. This week are focusing on using vellum…

I love vellum! There are so many different ways to add it to your projects! I choose a very subtle way today. The other day I posted on Instagram my first Alcohol Ink background and I used that to make my card. My card was inspired by Amy from Prairie Paper & Ink. The background uses Amethyst and Flamingo Alcohol Ink on Yupo Paper with some Alcohol Blending Solution. I used a straw to blow it around and then waited for it to dry a bit before adding some Deco Foil in Gold. To cut it out I used the Concord & 9th Heartstrings Dies, also cutting out a piece of Gold Vellum. That is added, offset, to the back of the colored heart with Glue Tube. My LOVE is cut from Gold Mirror Card using the Concord & 9th Love You So Dies. That is adhered to the heart with more Glue Tube. I added the heart to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. A few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Confetti pieces and the card is done. I kept it simple as to not take away from the cool alcohol ink heart! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG so stop by and check out the rest of the Team’s cards! We hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Paper Craft Crew 311

I’m back! LOL! I had a nice day with the kiddos. Daniel is always a pleasure and Tristan settled down early this morning which is always a treat! After we put Daniel on the bus Tristan and I went to Aldi and Hobby Lobby. Having Hobby Lobby so close to my Brother’s house is not a good thing! LOL! I’m off to Manhattan this morning to see my friend Ella for a bit and then who knows! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I have been wanting to play with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and the Stamptember Set that I got so that’s what I did! The image is from the Simon Says Stamp & Altenew Dainty Spring Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Amalgam Ink onto some Bristol Smooth Card Stock using my Mini MISTI so that I could stamp it a few times and make sure that it was nice and crisp! The image is then colored in with Zig Markers and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I adhered it onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with 3D Foam Squares. My greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Amalgam. Some Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst and Marigold Sequins complete the card. I do like the Zig Markers but I need some more time to play with them and get used to them! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! Check out the rest of the Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share yours with us in the gallery! Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you all enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 172 – Sketch!

Monday done! How did you all fare?! I did pretty good. Daniel was good as always and Tristan wasn’t the little she devil that she has become! LOL! It was rainy here most of the day yesterday but should be nice today. I snuck into Manhattan on Saturday to go and see my friend Kim and then went to October Fest at the Firehouse with Kim and Brian. Saturday was the first day that I wore pants since April!! I’m not liking that fact! It’s getting chilly and that means that my least favorite season is coming! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

My card is super simple! I used the Concord & 9th Snowflake Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp and some Soft Pool Ink with my MISTI to create my background. I stamped each turn twice to make the ink a little more intense. My greeting is from the same set and is heat embossed in WOW! Rich Pale Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Vellum. To cut it out I used the Concord & 9th Lovely Blossoms Dies. I adhered my background to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and then added the sentiment with teeny tiny pieces of 3M Foam Tape. All that was left was to add a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins. Like I said, simple but the heat embossing gives it a little oomph! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Fab Friday 148

Hello peeps and a very happy Friday to you! I have had a somewhat productive week. Got some projects finished and thought of some new ones to start. I’m off to see the kiddos this morning. Daniel has a bit of a cold a hopefully little miss Tristan will be in a good mood! She is in the terrible twos for sure! If she’s good we’ll be bad and go to Mc’D’s for lunch. ๐Ÿ˜€

Time for a new challenge over on the Fab Friday blog…

Most people see Halloween, not me! LOL! I dug out some oldies but goodies to make my card. It all started with the Simon Says Stamp Eliza Snowflake Die cut from some Purple Glitter Paper. I watched one of Kristina Werner’s Holiday card series videos and she made a gorgeous card with all different snowflakes cut from glitter paper. I would like all of the new snowflakes that Simon Says Stamp has released! I do love a snowflake and their ones are great! I happened to remember that there was a stamp set called Holiday Envelopes Sentiments that coordinated with the Eliza Snowflake Die. I stamped the snowflakes in Sugarplum and Carrot randomly onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Black Licorice. I adhered the snowflake with Glue Tube. A little sparkle was needed so I added Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst and Silver Sequins and the card is done! A very simple card with really non-traditional Holiday colors, but you all know that I like that! LOL! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Color Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Thank you for spending some of your Friday with me! Enjoy the rest of your day and have a fabulous weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚

Paper Craft Crew 308

Hello there! Two days in a row! LOL! Woo hoo! It was a gloomy rainy day here, had to take Daniel to the bus stop in the car. Tristan and I had a nice day playing in the house. We both took a little nap on the couch! Last night I went into the Stampin’ Galley to make today’s card and had a little accident, I cut my middle finger with the tip of a pair of scissors and it bled like crazy all over the card! After I got it to stop bleeding and the fainting feeling passed I went back in and remade the card. I will refrain from sharing a pic of the Merry and Bloody card with you! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€

That card is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I used an impressive amount of goodies for such a simple card! I started by die cutting my tag using the Concord & 9th Holiday Cheer Tags Dies, the banner using the Concord & 9th Holly Jolly Banner Dies and the tree using the Concord & 9th Cozy Christmas Dies all from different shades of Grey 110lb. The tree is from the Concord & 9th Cozy Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set and the greeting from the Concord & 9th Merry & Bright Photopolymer Stamp Set, top part stamped on the tag and the bottom on the banner, all heat embossed in Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold Embossing Powder. I also stamped the pine leaves from the Concord & 9th Merry & Bright Photopolymer Stamp Set in Smoke onto the tag. My snowflake is from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Dies and is cut from a piece of Silver Glitter Paper from the Concord & 9th Neutrals Glitter Paper Pack. The snowflake and banner are adhered to the card with Glue Tube and the tag and tree with 3M Foam Tape. A little sprinkle of Pretty Pink Posh Pewter, Gold and Silver Sequins complete the card! I do love all of the different shades of grey with the gold embossing! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! I’m sure that I’ll remember making this one for a while! LOL! Stop by the BLOG to see the rest of the Team’s cards and share your with us in the gallery! Thanks for visiting with me today! Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Color Inspiration!

Hello there my friends! I hope that you are enjoying your weekend! It’s a little rainy here so I have been spending some time cleaning out the Stampin’ Galley. I’ll be participating in a craft sale on September 22nd in Oceanside to help with my ongoing purge! I’ll share more details with you as we get closer! I think that there are 12 of us in total so there will be some great goodies for sale! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s release day over at Concord & 9th so it’s time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

Some nice soft Fall colors! I started my card by creating the background using the Plaid Background Photopolymer Stamp and my MISTI. It’s stamped in Mint Julep and Cup O Joe onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. The background is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Next I used the Lovely Blossoms Dies to cut out a piece of Calypso Coral and Early Espresso. I adhered the Calypso Coral die cut to another piece of Calypso Coral and used Glue Tube to add back in the you are lovely and frame. The excess is trimmed off with my Scissors. The tails are two pieces of Wood Textures 6×6 Paper. I added them behind the die cut and the added a piece of Fun Foam. To soften the background a bit I trimmed a piece of Vellum to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and and added that to the back of the die cut and then adhered the whole thing to the card with E-Z Runner Ultra Strong. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Espresso, Lemon Drop and Lime Sorbet Sequins and a die cut flower also from the Lovely Blossoms Dies cut from a piece of So Saffron complete the card!

Feature Friday for Concord & 9th – Thankful Leaves!

Happy Friday! I have been watching Brian and Kim’s girls Izzy and Savannah all week. They went on a well deserved and much needed cruise to the Bahamas with two of their friends. The girls have been so good and we have had a lot of fun! I’m sure that will be happy to see Mom and Dad when they get home on Sunday! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time for another Feature Friday post for Concord & 9th! This week we are featuring the Thankful Leaves Stamps and Dies! I also used a sentiment from the Shiplap Sentiments Stamp Set!

I really do love that leaf die and today I used it to make a shaker card! I began by cutting out the solid leaf from a piece of Grey 110lb Card Stock. On the bottom I heat embossed the Hello from The Shiplap Sentiments Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. I then used the Leaf Die with the insert to cut out a piece of Copper Glitter Paper from the Summer Glitter Paper Pack. On the back of the Grey panel I adhered a piece of Acetate and then used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhere to the copper glitter leaf to the Acetate. Some 3M Foam Tape is added to the back of the panel. I used a darker piece of Grey 110lb Card Stock for the card base and added Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold, Pewter and Marshmallow Sequins before adhering the front. I love all of the sparkle and that Glitter Paper from Concord & 9th is awesome!

I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this weekโ€™s Feature Friday post for Concord & 9th! Thank you for spending a little time with me today! Have a fantastic Weekend! ?

Wedding Congrats – Concord & 9th!

Happy Monday! How was the weekend?! Mine was good. I drove upstate to see my friends Ella and Tom on Saturday. The rain was terrible on the way up there but the sun did peek out later in the afternoon. Yesterday I got some things done around the house and then went over to see Brian and Kim for a bit. Today I have some cleaning and laundry to do, fun right?! LOL! I’m going to try and get into the Stampin’ Galley too, let’s see if that happens! ๐Ÿ˜€

I forgot to share my card with you last week featuring the NEW Concord & 9th Top it Off Stamps! So that’s what I have for you today! I started by heat embossing some of the images from the set in Hero Arts White and Copper Embossing Powder onto a piece of Grey 110lb Card Stock. I used my Mini MISTI to make sure that everything was lined up! Once all of my heat embossing was done I adhered the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For a little sparkle I added Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins and the card is done! The card was pretty simple to make and I think would work great for a wedding! I hope that you enjoyed my card for today! Thank you for visiting with me and have a marvelous Monday! ๐Ÿ™‚
