Good morning! It’s Tuesday, which means one more day closer to the weekend! At least we all made it through Monday! Today may I present to you this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge…

The question begs round or square… I always do square (and today is no exception) but one day I’ll have to do round. I decided to play around with the Sale-A-Bration items for today’s card. The card base is Lucky Limeade and to that I added a piece of the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (Sale-A-Bration). I then took some Poppy Parade and punched the edge with the Scallop Edge Border Punch and added a piece of ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack. The images on the Very Vanilla Card Stock are stamped from the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set (Sale-A-Bration) in Soft Suede and then it’s mounted on a piece of Soft Suede Card Stock. I used the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and some Pool Party and Peach Parfait Card Stock for the flower (did you notice that the flower is on the DSP too?!) and put one of the Large Pearls Basic Jewels in the middle. The greeting is from Perfect Words (IB&C – Host(ess)) and is stamped in Lucky Limeade and mounted to a piece of Lucky Limeade that is punched out with the Scallop Oval Punch. I used some Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the rectangle to the card and give it some dimension. I hope that you like today’s card and thanks, as always, for stopping by! Have a great Tuesday!

Paper Players #84

A good Monday morning to you all. I hope that you had a nice weekend and that the work week goes quickly! For this weeks Paper Players Challenge they give us the following sketch…

I like the sketch because it’s quite different form any that I remember doing recently. I went with a recently acquired color, Tangerine Tango for this weeks card. The base of the card is Very Vanilla and to that I added some Brights Stack Designer Series Paper in Tangerine Tango. The layered rectangle is Crumb Cake, Tangerine Tango and Very Vanilla which I ran through my Big Shot in the Perfect Polkadots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to coordinate with the DSP. The images are form the Tiny Tags Stamp Set and are stamped in Tangerine Tango. I used the Small Oval Punch to punch them out and adhered them to some circles that were punched out with the 1″ Circle Punch. They were then adhered to the polkadots background with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is from Elementary Elegance (Sale-A-Bration) and was punched out with the Large Oval Punch and then mounted on a piece of Crumb Cake that was punched out with the Modern Label Punch and also placed on Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Dotted Scalloped Ribbon Border Punch is a great substitute for fabric ribbon and completes the card. Thanks for stopping by and and please feel free to leave a comment. Have a great day!

French Blossom Designer Label

Yeah!! It’s Friday!! I hope that you all had a good week and that you are doing some fun stuff for the weekend! For today’s card I used my new (to me) En Français Background Stamp. Background stamps are a great addition to your creative arsenal. They can take the place of embossing or Designer Series Paper. I stamped the En Français in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla Card Stock. Then I used the Blossom Punch to punch out most of the flower from the edge of one side. I mounted it on some Pool Party Card Stock and stamped and image from the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set (Occasions Mini) in Peach Parfait and punched that out with the 3/4″ Circle Punch and placed in the middle of the flower. I used my Big Shot and the Labels Collection Framelits Dies (Occasions Mini) to cut out some more Pool Party and then ran it through again in the Designer Frames Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I stamped the greeting from the Elementary Elegance Stamp Set (Sale-A-Bration) in Peach Parfait and punched it out with the Extra Large Oval Punch and placed it in the middle of the frame. A very good Thursday to you all. One more day and it’s… FRIDAY!! I love the weekend, but who doesn’t?! Today, I give you this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge…

I really like this weeks sketch, it’s perfect for a Designer Series Paper background. I used some of the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper form the Sale-A-Bration Catalog (FREE with any $50 purchase). I really like the collection of papers that they include and I have used every one of them. The images are from the Vintage Vogue Stamp Set and are stamped in Calypso Coral. I cut the flower out and put it on a Stampin’ Dimensional. Then, I ran a piece of Soft Suede through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polkadots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. A piece of Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon was then tied around it and adhered to the background with a combination of Sticky Strip and SNAIL, I like to make sure that it’s going to stay put! I mounted the stamped piece of Very Vanilla on top of that with more Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is from the Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set and is stamped in Soft Suede. One side has a another Stampin’ Dimensional and the other side SNAIL for even adhesion! I hope that y0u like the card and thanks for taking a look. As always, any comments are greatly appreciated! Paper Players #82

Good morning all. I hope that you are enjoying your week, only two days left until the weekend! For this weeks Paper Players Challenge they ask you to use Poppy Parade, Pool Party, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla…

I love the color combination plus I get to use some more of my favorite Designer Series Paper, Everyday Enchantment! The base of the card is Soft Suede. I used the Labels Collection Framelits Dies to cut out a piece of the Everyday Enchantment DSP (Sale-A-Bration) and used the negative piece. As I have said before the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set and the Blossom Punch are two of my favorite products from the Occasions Mini. I stamped a flower in Poppy Parade on Very Vanilla and again in Pool Party on Pool Party Card Stock. The 1″ Circle Punch is perfect for the flower middle in Pool Party. A brad from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack holds them together and I adhered it with a Stampin’ Dimensional. The greeting is from Elementary Elegance (Sale-A-Bration) and is stamped in Poppy Parade and punched out with the Extra Large Oval Punch. It’s also adhered with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. Kim’s Enchanted Valentine

Hello everyone! Did everyone have a good weekend? Mine was great! I had a Kids Party in Manhattan yesterday and it was so much fun. Such a talented bunch of kids. Today’s card is a Valentine for an awesome friend and huge supporter of my crafting, Kim. She has been a close friend of mine for along time and I’m so grateful to have her in my life. The base of the card is Very Vanilla. I cut strips of the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and spaced them on the base. The hearts are from the P.S. I Love You Stamp Set (Occasions Mini) and are stamped in Poppy Parade and punched out with the Full Heart Punch. I choose the greeting from the Sweet Cake Stamp Set (Occasions Mini), stamped it in Poppy Parade and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. It’s a simple but elegant card and the perfect card for Kim! I hope you like the card and thanks for visiting, have a great day!

Forever Enchanted Hearts

A very good Saturday morning to you all. It’s snowing here on Long Island, as long as it doesn’t stick to anything but the grass it looks pretty! For today’s card I did one that could be a Valentine or for an Anniversary. The base of the card is Pool Party Card Stock. Two strips of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper are placed at the top and bottom. I stamped an image from the Take It To Heart Stamp Set in Peach Parfait and punched it out with the Full Heart Punch. Then I stamped another image from the same set and used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the greeting from the Loving Thoughts Set. The greeting is stamped in Lucky Limeade. I used my Paper Snips to cut out the greeting and then the three pieces were adhered to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. It’s a quick and clean card suitable for all kinds of different occasions. Thanks for stopping by and have a great Saturday!

Elementary Birthday

Hello everyone and welcome to Thursday, I can feel the weekend it’s so close! For today’s card I used some of the FREE Sale-A-Bration items that you can get for every $50 you spend until March 31, 2012. I love all of the stuff in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog especially the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper. It has great colors for spring. The card base is Peach Parfait and I used the 3/16″ Corner Rounder on two adjacent corners. I placed a piece of the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper in the middle and crossed with a piece of Pool Party Card Stock punched along one edge with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I stamped the main image from the Elementary Elegance Stamp Set in Peach Parfait on Very Vanilla Card Stock and the stamped the Happy Birthday in Pool Party and punched it out with the Curly Label Punch (which just happens to fit right inside the other image!). I mounted it on some Stampin’ Dimensionals for a little dimension. I stamped two of the butterfly images, also from the same set, in Pool Party and punched them out with the Small Oval Punch. It’s a great quick and simple card and I’m sure that anyone would be happy to get it for their Birthday! Thanks, as aways for stopping by and have a great day!

A very good morning to you all. It’s Wednesday people… we are halfway there! Today, I give you this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge…

I love playing along each week, the sketch gets the creative juices flowing! I used Soft Suede, Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Very Vanilla Card Stock. I decided to go with a simple design. For the background I used the Perfect Polkadots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with Soft Suede and, what is my favorite one of late, the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with Poppy Parade. A piece of Crumb Cake punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch conceals the seam. The Happy Birthday, from the Elementary Elegance Stamp Set (Sale-A-Bration), is stamped in Lucky Limeade and then sponged with Crumb Cake. The awesome Labels Collection Framelits Die was embossed with the Designer Frames Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (idea courtesy of Mary Fish) and also sponged in Crumb Cake. A piece of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (Sale-A-Bration) and a piece of Pool Party Card Stock is slipped in behind. The bow is Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon and was tied using the fork method (courtesy of Sandy Mathis) and adds the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Paper Players #81

Good Tuesday morning to everyone! Four more days left until the weekend! For this weeks Paper Players Challenge #81 they ask that you include a floral image…

I decided to use the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini. It’s one of my favorite sets and it coordinates with a punch and we all know how much I love a punch! I stamped two flowers, one in Calypso Coral on Very Vanilla Card Stock and one in Pool Party on Pool Party Card Stock. The 1″ Circle Punch works perfectly with the flower middle. I mounted them together with a brad from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad pack (Sale-A-Bration – FREE with a $50 purchase). Then I ran some Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (Sale-A-Bration) through the Big Shot using the Labels Collection Framelits Dies. I stamped another of the images in Soft Suede on Soft Suede Card Stock for the card base and rounded 3 of the four corners. The Memories greeting is from the Loving Thoughts Stamp Set and it was stamped in Calypso Coral on Very Vanilla. I used the 1 1/4″ Square punch to make the flag end.
