Midnight Starfruit Raspberry Collage Sneak Peek

Good morning peeps! I had a very long Monday this week and I’m glad that it’s over! How was everyone else’s? Today’s card is another sneak peek at some products from the new catalog. The base of the card is Midnight Muse Card Stock*. I stamped the frame image from the Papaya Collage Stamp Set**, also in Midnight Muse*. The two flagged pieces are Raspberry Ripple* cut out using my Big Shot and the Bitty Banners Framelits Dies**, I cut it in half and slid them behind the frame. The greeting is from the Perfectly Penned Stamp Set and I cut it out using my Paper Snips and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to mount it to a piece of Midnight Muse* that I punched out with the Decorative Label Punch. That was then adhered to a piece of Summer Starfruit Card Stock* that was mounted to the frame with more Stampin’ Dimensionals. The rose and butterflies are also from the Papaya Collage Stamp Set** and are stamped in Raspberry Ripple* and Summer Starfruit* Ink. They were again adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I am liking the new In-Colors more and more each time I use them and hope that you are liking my sneak peeks. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit today and enjoy the rest of your day!

Paper Players #95 and Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning to everyone! Did you all have a nice weekend and a Happy Mother’s Day? I spent the day on Saturday with my daughter Taylor. She made a Mother’s day card for my mom and we went to lunch ran some errands. Sunday we had lunch with my parents and then I went to see my friend Chantal so all in all a good weekend! Today’s card is for this weeks Paper Players Challenge. Ann has given us this great color combination to work with…

This was one of those cards that as soon as I saw this I knew what I was going to do. It happens rarely but I love when it does. I started with a base of Baja Breeze. The top and bottom strips are from the new Patio Party Designer Series Paper (2012-2013 IB&C) and the middle strip is Daffodil Delight that I ran through the Big Shot using the hearts from the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. The greeting and cupcakes are from the new Carry On Stamp Set (2012-2013 IB&C) that is available as one of the Host(ess) choices. I stamped them all in Poppy Parade (retired List) on Whisper White Card Stock. The greeting is backed with Poppy Parade Card Stock (Retired List) and adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The cupcakes are punched out with the 1″ Circle Punch and adhered with SNAIL. For the finishing touch I stamped the “AND” and used the Bitty Banners Framelits Dies (2012-2013 IB&C) to cut it out and used a Stampin’ Dimensional behind it for some pop. I hope that you enjoyed this weeks Paper Players Card and that you are looking forward to the new catalog. Have an awesome day and thank you for stopping by.

Happy Wednesday everyone! Wednesday is definitely one of the better days of the week. Once we are past it we only have two days left until the weekend! I’m a little behind on my challenge cards this week, I got wrapped up in making some cards for my friend Kim on Sunday night and I got thrown off but I’ll be back on track in no time! Today’s post is for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge. This weeks challenge is a color challenge…

I ‘m really liking the colors and I thought they would look great with one of the new stamp sets from the 2012-2013 Idea Book & Catalog. The stamp set is called Betsy’s Blossoms (Sneak Peek) and it has a cute spring vibe to it. I started with a base of Whisper White Card Stock and I added a piece of Crumb Cake that I ran through my Big Shot using the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I stamped the large floral image from the set in Calypso Coral and punched it out with the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch. I stamped it again in So Saffron and punched that out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. The bird image is stamped in Baja Breeze and cut out with Paper Snips. They are all mounted on top of each other with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then stamped the flower image in Baja Breeze, Calypso Coral and So Saffron twice each and cut them out with my Paper Snips too. They are also mounted to the card on Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is from the Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set and is stamped in Baja Breeze. I used the new Bitty Banners Framelits Dies (Sneak Peek) to cut it out. So there you have this weeks Pals Paper Arts card and a peek at a new stamp set and a new Framelit. I hope you like the card and thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello and welcome to Tuesday. I hope that everyone made it through Monday ok! I had a nice evening of card class with the ladies and my daughter. Today’s card is another sneak peek at a set from the upcoming 2012-2013 Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog. The set is called Memorable Moments and contains numbers, greetings and an outline stamp that goes with the Labels Collection Framelits. The base of the card is Very Vanilla and I used the Distressed Dots Wood Mount Stamp stamped in Primrose Petals (2012-2014 In-Color) to create the background. I cut out a piece of Primrose Petals Card Stock with the Labels Collection Framelits Dies and then ran it through my Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Papaya Collage Sneak Peek

Good morning and happy Monday to you… blah! Whoever came up with a five day work week seriously needed to re-think it! I had a very nice weekend, busy, but I got to see my friends and spend some time crafting! Today’s card is a sneak peek at the new Papaya Collage Stamp Set. The name is a little misleading but I love sets that aren’t all matched up but still look great together. I started with a  base of Soft Suede and I took one of the stamps from the set and stamped it in Soft Suede for a Designer Series Paper look. The frame Is stamped in one of the new In-Colors, Summer Starfruit. It’s a yellow with a little bit of green in it. The rose image is stamped in Primrose Petals, another one of the new In-Colors. It’s a pink with a little tiny hint of purple. The little bird is stamped in Soft Suede and mounted on Stampin’ Dimensionals. I put the little hat on him for Sandy, I think it gives him a hint of whimsy. The greeting is actually from another one of the new sets called Memorable Moments and it is also stamped in Primrose Petals. Everything is sponged in Crumb Cake to give it a slightly vintage look. I’m in love with the new products and can’t wait to get my hands on a paper copy of the new catalog. I hope you enjoyed today’s sneak peek! Have an awesome day! 🙂
