SIP Challenge 158 – Christmas in July!

Hello peeps! Just popping in with a quick post for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge. The actual Stamp, Ink, Paper site is having major issues this morning so the post won’t be up for a little while. But the Design Team has all of their posts up and I’ll link to them below! Now for this week’s challenge badge…

I used some old and new sets from Concord & 9th for my card. To start I heat embossed the lightbulb from the Concord & 9th Shine On Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder onto a piece of Gold Metallic 27lb Vellum. The top of the bulb is also heat embossed in Silver onto a piece of Ionized Curious Metallic. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. Onto a piece of Solar White 80lb I heat embossed my greeting from the Concord & 9th Ornamental Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder using my Mini MISTI so that I could do it twice to make it a little brighter. The background with the greeting is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 100lb Card Stock. I added the bulb with 3M Foam Tape and then a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins complete the card. I do love the simplicity and metallic elements on the card! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Once the BLOG is up I hope that you will check out the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 147 – Color It!

Hello strangers!! It’s been way too long! I have been keeping busy with lots of different things. My Mojo is still MIA, I don’t know what happened! I guess after 5 years of making a card a day my creativity wore a little thin. The thing I miss the most is talking to all of you! I have been to Manhattan a few times to see some of my peeps. Jim and I went in a few weeks ago and stopped by The Ink Pad and then went an had Indian Food with my friend Kim. That was fun! I’m also watching Daniel and Tristan twice a week now which is great! I love getting to spend time with them! I also need to go and see about getting the top in my car fixed, it’s convertible season and I miss putting down the roof! Today is also Jim’s Birthday! Happy Birthday Jim!! ๐Ÿ˜€

We have a fun Color It challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog this week…

My favorite kind of cards to make are ones with large images that can just be stamped! Concord & 9th has a great new set in their April release and I used it to make a set of cards! I started by cutting my card bases from Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stack and using my Stamparatus! I love the fact that it has more than one plate and that they are removable. It’s especially handy when you are stamping layering stamps! I used the Concord & 9th Painted Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set. The outline and greeting are stamped in Black Licorice. I stamped the leaves in Jalapeรฑo and Noble Fir. Each of the flowers are stamped in two in colors. Ballet Slippers and Peachy Keen, Minty Fresh and Merman, Sunflower and Carrot, and finally Grape Soda and Juice Box. I added the spatters in the lighter of the two colors around the rose and the cards are done! Now I have a nice set of cards to give to someone that will work for many different occasions! I hope that you like my Design Team Cards for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color It Challenge! The is more inspiration over on the BLOG so be sure to check it out and share your card with us in the gallery! It’s so nice to get to share with you again and I really appreciate you stopping by! Have a terrific Tuesday everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 144 – Birthday!

Hello! I finally had a little burst of Mojo the other day! It has been elusive as of late! I have also been busy working on a new project that I will get to share with you soon. A little business venture! I have been keeping myself busy helping out with some computer stuff for friends. There really hasn’t been much else going on. I did go into Manhattan to see some friends last weekend but other than that not much else has been happening! We had another three inches of snow yesterday but thankfully it’s all gone! Now I would like it if Spring could finally get it’s act together! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€

I have a simple stamped card to share with you today for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I started by stamping the banner and sentiment from the Concord & 9th Banners & Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set in Jet Black onto a piece of Solar White 80lb using my Mini MISTI. The rest of the images are from the same set and are also stamped in Jet Black. To color them in I used my Copics, doing some very simple shading just to give them a little depth. All that was left to do was to adhere the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Nice and simple and very easy to make quick duplicates of! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Birthday Challenge! Check out the rest of the Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share your creation with us in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me today! Have a terrific Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 142 – Colors!

Hello everyone! I hope that you had a nice weekend and that your week is off to a good start! I had a very quiet weekend, I did go over and see Brian & Kim on Saturday. They had an addition added to their house and it’s so nice and really big now! They needed the space! Last night Jim came by for a bit so that we could work on a couple of projects on the computer. I’m a bit late today, I managed to get some crafty time in and I didn’t want to stop while Mojo was present! LOL! We are to get more snow later on today into tomorrow. Between 1 and 11 inches, I’m hoping for the latter! ๐Ÿ˜€

I have my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge to share with you today! This week we have some fun colors…

I started by using my Mini MISTI to stamp the Concord & 9th Posie Fill-In background onto a piece of Solar White 80lb with Hippo Ink. The flowers and leaves are stamped using the Fill-In images and Merman, Peacock and Jalapeรฑo Ink. I adhered the background to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Across the top half is a piece of Grey Sparkle Washi Tape and a thin strip of Peacock on top of that. My greeting is cut from Medium Grey 110lb four times using the Concord & 9th Hooray Die. I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhere the hoorays to each other and Multi-Matte Medium to adhere it to the card. It’s coated with Nuvo Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer Pen. For a little added bling I scattered Pretty Pink Posh Peacock and Shamrock Sequins around the flowers. I love the grid background on the stamp and the fun hooray! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you for stopping by today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 141 – A Sketch!

Hello my fiends! How was your weekend?! Mine was great! Saturday morning I went and helped with a basketball game at the church with Jim. After that we had lunch and then later on he came by my house and I made sausage gravy and biscuits for dinner. We also watched Kingsman. On Sunday I went into Manhattan to see my friends Jim and Diane in the morning and then met up with Kim for brunch and a nice long walk through Central Park. On our way back from the park I found a wooden shipping crate so I brought it home so that Jim and I can turn it into something fun! Yesterday I had Daniel and Tristan. They were great as always. Today we are to get some more snow and I still have laundry to do from last week! Yikes! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday so that means time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

My friend Andrea sent me the new Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus and a few new goodies so I used them on my card for today! It’s been a long time since I played with Stampin’ Up! products! Onto a panel of Crumb Cake I stamped the flower and greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Amazing You Cling Mount Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black using my Stamparatus. The flower is colored in with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and to finish off the greeting I die cut a piece of Black 110lb with the amazing from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate You Thinlits and adhered it to the panel with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I added a piece of Black 110lb to cover the front. A strip of Stampin’ Up! Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper goes down the left and the stamped panel is adhered to the caed with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner Ultra Strong. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins complete the card! I love that amazing die cut, it really is amazing! LOL! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! You can see more inspiration over on the BLOG and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! SIP Challenge 138 – Card Maker’s Choice!

Hey! How are you all?! I’m ok, had a really quiet weekend, not my favorite kind but it is what it is. My Brother and Erika stopped by on Saturday with the kiddies to see my Mum for a bit. She is still not great but the kids did get her mind off of the pain that she is in for a while. Yesterday I worked on a bunch of stuff that needed to get done. I have to run to the Post Office at some point today to mail out some goodies to peeps. I did manage to make a shadowbox scrapbook page for Jim to give to a friend last night. This morning, the usual stuff to get through. It’s super foggy here and they say that it’s going to take a while to clear up, good times! ๐Ÿ˜€

With my lack of Mojo I have missed the last two Stamp, Ink, Paper challenges! But I did manage to get a nice simple card made for this week…

I wanted something bright and simple, I also just felt like coloring, nothing fancy! Onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped the Concord & 9th Wonderful Florals Photopolymer Stamp in Hippo using my Mini MISTI. I went really bright with some Prismacolor Premiere Pencils. A little shading on the leaves and simple coloring on the flowers. These would be great to stamp and either take with you and color on the go or send a set to someone with some pencils for them to color in! So there you have my simple bright Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Card Maker’s Choice Challenge! Lots more inspiration over on the BLOG so be sure to stop by and check it out! We love when you share your creativity with us by entering your cards in the gallery! We can’t wait to see what you make! Thank you so much for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 135 – All You Need is Love!

And I woke up to some snow this morning! What a wonderful way to start the day! NOT! I did have a fun weekend! Saturday I hung out with Heather for a while. We ran errands and had lunch. Sunday Jim came over and we continued the great purge of my apartment. He is definitely the king of getting rid of stuff! With his assistance I managed to donate six boxes to good will and threw out nine bags of trash! It’s always easier to clean and purge when you have help, wouldn’t you agree?! Yesterday I went over and watched Daniel and Tristan. I’ll be back over there on Thursday too! My Mum is having double knee replacement surgery today so her and my Dad won’t be able to watch the kids for a while. I’m happy to pitch in until Mum is able to watch them again. She is very nervous but I’m sure that everything will be fine. ๐Ÿ˜€

My first post for this week’s is for the Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

Just in time for Valentine’s Day!! I kept things simple! Onto my card base of Grey 110lb Card Stock I stamped the heart from the Concord & 9th Cuddles & Hugs Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hippo using my Mini MISTI just in case I had to stamp it again! I find myself using my MISTI a lot, it’s nice to have a little safety net so to speak! Next I used the Concord & 9th Hearts and Love Dies. The solid one with the outline is cut from Black 110lb and the thin one from Gold Mirror Card. I added Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to the back and added them to the card. I still love my sequins, a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold ones did the trick for today! I do love that love die, so many different ways that you can use it! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper All You Need is Love Theme! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards, including a risquรฉ one from Amber! We hope that you will play along with us and share your card in the gallery! Thanks so much for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 134 – Colors!

TGIF peeps! I have had a busy week, sorry for being MIA again! Tuesday I had the kiddies, always a good time! Wednesday I went into Manhattan to see Anna, I’m going to be helping her out with some things for the store which will be fun! I miss my store and have always loved The Ink Pad. It will be good to get involved and crafty again! Jim came by in the evening and we watched some TV. Yesterday I was just busy with all sorts of things all day so last night I needed a little more down time and that resulted in a trip to Heather’s for Thirsty Thursday! Taylor came by too! This morning I’m off to get my haircut and then lots more stuff to get finished! Not quite sure what’s on for the weekend yet but hopefully it will be fun! ๐Ÿ˜€

I missed posting my card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge. There are still a few days left to play and I would love to have you join us! Here is this week’s challenge badge…

While I was at The Ink Pad I picked up a die that I have wanted for a while and I had to use it on my card! The die is the Hero Arts A Bit of Handmade Kindness Fancy Die and I cut it out from some Gold Mirror Card. My roses and leaves are from the Hero Arts Color Layering Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers in Soft Pink, Quartz and Raspberry Jam and the leaves in Moss and Lime Green. They are all cut out with the Coordinating Dies and added to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with E-Z Runner and 3M Foam Tape. The die cut greeting is adhered with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive in the upper right. It needed some more sparkle so I added Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins around the flowers cluster. A little bunch of roses along with that greeting is sure to brighten someones day don’t you think?! I hope that you like my very late Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Challenge! Over on the BLOG you can check out the rest of the Team’s cards and see the fantastic ones that are already in the gallery! Thanks for coming by and I wish you all an incredible Friday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 133 – Sketch!

Well, that was a quick Monday! I did a few things around the house in the morning and then went out with Heather to run a some errands. She made us lunch at her house, a nice salad and grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. When I got back the kids were at my Parent’s so I went and saw them for a little while. The evening was finished off with a little Hawaii Five-O on Netflix! I need the nice warm scenery! LOL! I have a few things to do this morning and then later I’ll head over to Jim’s so we can put his Mum’s den back together! ๐Ÿ˜€

Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper Blog…

A nice simple sketch! I pulled out my Hero Arts Color Layering Poppy Photopolymer Stamp Set and started by using my Mini MISTi to stamp the flower in  Bubble Gum, Crimson Hybrid and Raspberry Jam Ink. The coordinating Die cuts it out. Onto a piece of Solar White 80lb I stamped a stem in Moss Hybrid and cut that out with the Hero Arts Circle Infinity Dies. For my background I stamped the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Stamp in Charcoal onto a piece of Grey Card Stock. That is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Across the card is a piece of Pluto Stardream Metallic and over that I used some Fun Foam and E-Z Runner to adhere the circle. The flower is adhered with 3M Foam Tape. My greeting its from the same set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of Black 110lb. That is adhered with more 3M Foam Tape to the circle. A few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear and Charcoal Sequins finish the card! Love the bold pop of red against the white and gray! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Sketch Challenge! The rest of the Team has some great cards to inspire you over on the BLOG and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting with me today! SIP Challenge 132 – Cake Walk!

Hello! I missed yesterday I know! I forgot that I was watching Daniel and Tristan and thought that I would have time to make a card in the morning! Oops! I’ll make up for it today as I will have another post at 11:00! I had a nice day with the kiddos, they are always so much fun and I really enjoy getting to spend time with them each week. Daniel was focused on playing Mario on his hi-Pad and Tristan and spent the better part of the morning dancing! LOL! She loves to listen to music! When I got home I watched a little TV, had dinner and then hung out with Taylor for a bit. I also spoke to my friend Greg in Indianan for a while, always good to catch up with him! I have a bunch of things to get done this morning and then Jim and I are going to see Star Wars tonight! ๐Ÿ˜€

The first post of this double post Tuesday is for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I wanted to do a little bit of a masculine spin on my card! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the sprinkles from the Essentials by Ellen with Concord & 9th Sweet Sprinkles Photopolymer Stamp Set stamped in Doe and Fish Tank using my MISTI. I stamped the cupcake in the same colors. Using my MISTI made it easy for me to re-stamp the frosted part in Versa-Mark so that I could heat emboss it with some Hero Arts Sparkle Embossing Powder. The Coordinating Dies cut them out and the cupcake is adhered to my card base with 3M Foam Tape. A simple sweet card with a masculine spin! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Cake Walk Challenge! There is a lot more inspiration over on the BLOG and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks for stopping by this morning! I’ll see you back here at 11:00, until then enjoy your morning! ๐Ÿ™‚
