SIP Challenge 131 – Emboss It!

Hey there, remember me?! I have been MIA for a little bit over the Holidays. I just lost my Mojo and didn’t make a card for about two weeks!! That’s the longest I think I have ever gone. Plus I think that I just needed a break after five years of almost daily posts. Hopefully I will get back into the swing of things! Oh, Happy New Year!! Can’t believe that 2017 is done! I did have a good year and a wonderful time over the Holidays! I hope that all of you are doing great and that your year is off to a great start! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for the first Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge of 2018…

I used a new to me stamp set that I have wanted for a while, it was a little prezzie from Jim! To start I heat embossed that gorgeous leaf from the Neat & Tangled Oak Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Canson 140lb Watercolor Card. I colored it in using a Light Green Zig Clean Color Brush Pen and a Waterbrush. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die. Onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I adhered a piece of Solar White 80lb that I embossed with the We R Memory Keepers Wave 3D Embossing Folder. My greeting is from the same set and is also heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold onto a strip of Solar White 80lb. I added the leaf and greeting with 3M Foam Tape and a sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Gold and Sparkling Clear Sequins completes the card. I do love that leaf especially watercolored! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG so check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you so much for coming back after my little hiatus! Have a terrific Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 129 – Colors!

I’m late this morning and I apologize! I woke up at 4:00AM with a insanely bad migraine, so bad I couldn’t even lie or sit down. Thankfully it’s a lot better now. Yesterday was fun with Daniel and Tristan, they are so good and easy to watch, plus it’s nice to get to spend the extra time with them! I went right over to Jim’s last night so we could fix the Christmas lights on the house and have dinner. He whipped up a meatloaf, sautรฉed string beans and sweet potato, all delicious as usual! Now that my head is feeling a little better I need to get my butt in gear! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

My card has a ton of heat embossing on it, you know that’s one of my favorite things to do! The background is a piece of Chili Pepper Card Stock with the Concord & 9th Plaid Background Photopolymer Stamp heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. My postage stamp is from the Concord & 9th Love You So Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed the dots in more Gold and the LOVE in Recollections Red Tinsel Embossing Powder. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die. The background is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and the postage stamp with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. All in all a pretty simple card to make! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Challenge! SIP Challenge 128 – Let it Snow!

What a nice day I had yesterday with Daniel and Tristan! They were both really good and had a lot of fun playing with Cali. She was a little nervous at first but warmed up to them after a while. It was also nice to see my Brother, we don’t get to see each other much anymore. I was home by 4:00 and got a lot of crafting done last night! This one of two posts for today! Bonus Tuesday! ๐Ÿ˜€

This morning’s post is for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Now we all know that I’m not a big fan of snow, except on a card! I started with a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and covered the front with a piece of Blue Jay. My snowflakes are cut from White Glitter Paper using snowflake dies from Simon Says Stamp. I adhered them to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. The greeting is cut from a piece of Solar White 110lb three times with the Simon Says Stamp Merry & Bright Dies and adhered to the card with Multi-Matte Medium. I added some Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Brush Pen to the greeting and used my White Signo Gel Pen to add some more “snow”. I love the sparkly snowflakes against the blue background! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! There is plenty more inspiration over on the BLOG so go over and check it out. We hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks for coming by this morning! Be sure to come back at 11:00 for a sneak peek at Concord & 9th’s December release! Until then have a great Tuesday morning! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 127 – All Wrapped Up!

Hello friends! I had a nice day with my little Cali yesterday. She has been so good, almost too good to be true. I took her over to Andrew’s Parent’s house to see his Mum and Dad. Then Andrew came over by me for a bit, he loves Cali! LOL! She is such a mush and goes to anyone. Taylor stopped by with her friend Jess and she was quite fond of the little miss too! I’m going to go into Manhattan today and Taylor is going to watch her for a little bit for me. I feel so bad that she will be home alone for a few hours but what can you do?! I think I’ll get a little carrier for her so that I can take her on city trips with me! ๐Ÿ˜€

It Tuesday and time for new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I went with some tags, surprise! LOL! To create them I used the Concord & 9th Sprinkles Tag Dies to cut out three tags from Desert Storm 80lb. For my images I used the Concord & 9th Beautiful Branches Photopolymer Stamp Set. The branches are stamped in Doe and the leaves in Yeti Pigment Ink. Because I’m impatient I used my Heat Tool to speed up the white ink drying. Next I stamped the sentiment from the Concord & 9th O Christmas Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set in Noble Fir over the images on the tags. In the top of the tags I punched a hole and tied some Natural Twine through. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins and they are complete! I do love to make tags, these will go nicely with a prezzie wrapped in kraft paper! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp , Ink, Paper All Wrapped Up Challenge! We hope that you will stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of Team’s projects and that you will share yours with us in the gallery! Thanks for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 126 – Grateful, Thankful, Blessed!

A quiet Monday! Who could ask for anything more?! I did get a few things done around the house and had dinner with the ‘rents. This morning I’m off to Manhattan to visit my friend Anna at The Ink Pad! It has been way too long since I have seen her and the shop! Should be a fun day!! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I have been seeing a lot of cards with colored pencil on dark cardstock lately so I needed to give it a go! To create my background I stamped the leaf from the Simon Says Stamp One with Nature Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versa-Mark and heat embossed them with Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder onto Battleship Gray. I used my Prismacolor Pencils to color the leaves in using two shades of a color for each one. My greeting is cut three times from more Battleship Gray using a die from the Simon Says Stamp with Hero Arts StampTember Thanksgiving Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed the top one with more Platinum Embossing Powder and then adhered it to the two others and a strip of Vellum with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. The Vellum is then adhered around the back of the background and then to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I added some Pretty Pink Posh Platinum Sequins for extra bling and the card is finished! Now I know why I have seen so many cards like this, love the look of the pencil on the dark card! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG so stop by and don’t forget to share your card in the gallery with us! Thank you for stopping by! Have an amazing Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 125 – Colors!

Hi there! Still looking for Winston in the mornings, I guess I’ll be doing that for a while. I had a very quiet day yesterday, ran some errands and did some cleaning. This morning I’m going to try and get a few things organized around the house and maybe get some laundry done. Hopefully you all are having a more eventful week than me! ๐Ÿ˜€

I did spend a little time in the Stampin’ Galley yesterday and made my card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

Some timely colors as the leaves are all falling off the trees around here. I do love to just do some stamping, get to use some of the plethora of inks that I have! Today’s card uses the Hero Arts September 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit. I stamped the leaves in Just Rust, Pumpkin Pie, Butter Bar and Cup O Joe to form a wreath. I started by stamping the large Just Rust ones and then went around to make the circle. My greeting is stamped in Cup O Joe in the lower right. I have these fun leaves in the Little Things by Lucy Colors of Fall Sequins Mix so I added a few of them and the card is done. A nice simple card but still way better than anything you can get in the store, don’t you think?! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and get inspired to create a card to share with us in the gallery! Thanks for visiting! Have an amazing Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 124 – Girls Night Out!

Fall is definitely in the air, woke up to 42 degrees this morning! How many more days until Spring?! Yesterday I managed to get a lot of stuff done in the early in the day and had a nice relaxing evening. This morning I’m going to run up to IKEA to see about some throw pillows for the couch and then work on some more projects. ๐Ÿ˜€

I have the pleasure of sharing my card with you today for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

A fun challenge that Andrea and Dena came up with! I dug out my December 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit and some of the Add-Ons to make my card! For the background I used the Hero Arts Party Confetti Fancy Die to cut a piece of Black 110lb Card Stock. That is adhered to a piece of Super Gold Curious Metallic with some Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive and then to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My martini glass is cut from more Super Gold Curious Metallic using the Hero Arts Martini Fancy Die. I made it into a shaker and added some Little Things by Lucy Brushed Gold Sequin Mix for my bling. The greeting is from the December 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit and is cut from another piece of Super Gold and two pieces of Black 110lb. The are adhered together with more Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. All that was left to do was to add the martini glass and greeting to the card! What a fun party invitation this would make, especially for New Year’s! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Girl’s Night Out Challenge! There is lots more inspiration over on the BLOG so stop by and take a look! We hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks for coming by today! Have an amazing Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 123 – A Sketch!

It’s definitely feeling more Fall like here and I’m already not a fan! Yesterday I did a few things around the house early and then went over and ran a few errands for Heather. I picked up lunch on the way back. After that it was back home to do a few more things. Taylor stopped by after dinner and that was my day. I have a few phone calls to make this morning and some other things to catch up on, always something to do! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

A nice simple birthday card! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the front covered in a piece of paper from the My Mind’s Eye Necessities – Wood 6×6 Paper Pad. For the wreath I used the die from the September 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit to cut out a piece of Nobel Fir and Super Gold Curious Metallic. They are adhered to a strip of 29lb Vellum that I flagged the bottom of with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. My greeting is from the Hero Arts Many Everyday Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder on another piece of Noble Fir. I cut the ends at an angle and adhered it to the Vellum and wreaths with 3M Foam Tape. A few dots of Multi-Matte Medium adhered the Vellum and wreaths to the card. A nice simple masculine Birthday card! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Sketch Challenge! The rest of the Team has some great inspiration for you over on the BLOG and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 122 – Product Feature!

A rainy dreary Tuesday here on Long Island. It was such a nice day yesterday. I made sure that I spent a lot of time outside, especially since I knew it was going to be nasty today. My list of things to do didn’t get much checked off but that’s what today is for. I had a quiet evening, Taylor stopped by for a bit and then I watched TV. I have to find another book to read so I’ll give that a little effort this morning. I’m feeling a little dreary myself! Why does the weather have such an effect on us?! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday and that means that it’s time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

We figured that we would try something new so we are featuring using a product and that product is Washi Tape. I know that I have way too much of it and don’t use it nearly enough! I’m sure that some of you out there are in the same boat! My card is very simple, I stamped the images from the Hero Arts October My Monthly Hero Kit in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Solar White 80lb and colored them in with my Copics. The Coordinating Frame Cuts cut them out. Onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I added a strip of Washi Tape across the lower half and then stamped the mountains. The tree and house are adhered with 3M Foam Tape and the greeting is stamped under and to the right of the Washi. Like I said very simple! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! The rest of Team has some great inspiration for you over on the BLOG and we hope that you share your creation with us in the gallery! Thank you for coming by! Have a terrific Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 121 – Tic-Tac-Toe

A crisp good morning to you! We got a taste of Fall last night with temps in 40’s! I’ll take Summer back now thanks! I had a pretty productive morning yesterday which is always a good way to start the day! In the afternoon I got a text from Heather that one of her cats got out so me, Kim, Stephanie and George spent a few hours combing the neighborhood. They eventually found the cat and are going to get a GPS collar for her, she gets out a lot! I went back over to Heather’s later and we ran a few errands. My evening was finished off with a little TV. This morning I have a bunch of things to get to and some cleaning to do around the house. ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday and that means it time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I went diagonal from top left to bottom right on the Tic-Tac-Toe board. My card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card stock has the front covered in a piece of paper from the My Mind’s Eye Essentials – Wood 6×6 Paper Pad. I heat embossed a flower and two leaves from the Essentials by Ellen Bold Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White and Copper Embossing Powder onto some 65lb Vellum. The Coordinating Dies are used to cut them out. My greeting is from the same set and is heat embossed in White Embossing Powder onto the woodgrain paper. The leaves are adhered with E-Z Runner and the flower with Kool-Tak Clear Foam Tape. A sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Copper Sequins completes the card. I love the nice pop of white against the dark woodgrain! The card would work well for a wedding, don’t you think?!
