Hello everyone, happy Thursday to you! I am very late this morning, I had internet issues and then had to go and pick up Ken Oliver and take him to Scrap-A-Latte for the classes that he is teaching today! My apologies! Today I’m participating in the fifth blog hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. The focus this month is Christmas in July! If you have arrived here from James Weber’s blog, welcome! James is one talented guy, isn’t he?! I have one card for you today so let’s get to it!
I used some fun Simon Says Stamp goodies to make my shaker card! The base of the card is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and I covered the front with a piece of Kraft Card Stock. To make the shaker portion I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Frames Die from some more Neenah 110b and backed it with a piece of Window Sheet. Thin strips of Foam Tape goes around the edges, doubled up so that the shaker filling can really move. My snowflakes are cut from Neenah 80lb Card Stock using the Impression Obsession Small Snowflake Set twice. A few silver seed beads added and the frame is adhered to the card front. The poinsettia is cut from Cherry Cobbler with the Simon Says Stamp Poinsettia Parade Die and adhered together with Glue Dots, a Pearl is added to the middle and finishes the card!
I hope that you enjoyed my card for the OSAT Christmas in July Blog Hop! You can click on the button below to continue on with the tour and you will go to my Cooky talented friend Maggie Mata’s blog! She always has great projects! Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today. Have a thoroughly awesome Thursday! 🙂

What an amazingly gorgeous card Justin. I’ve been trying to work on Christmas cards this week but just cannot get into Christmas cards yet. Your Poinsettia is gorgeous and the pearl in the center is perfect. Of course, I always love your shaker cards. Fantastic job as always my friend! Luv and Hugs XO
Thank you Grace! It was a little difficult for me to think of Christmas cards in July but a simple one worked! Love to you!! XOXOXO 🙂
Love it!
Thanks Barbara! So great to meet you! 🙂
Another great card Justin! How do you keep the seed beads at the top of the frame for the photos???
Thank you Dana! The seed beads actually just happened to luckily stay there! They all moved again when I gave it a shake! 🙂
So stylish. Lovely!
Thanks so much Jan! 🙂
Hey Justin, what a pretty Christmas card! I like how the colours are ‘Christmassy’ but not too obvious! I can’t believe we have started on the second half of the year already… I guess I’ll have to start thinking about my Christmas card design, because if I leave it too long, I won’t bother! Hope you have a great day Justin 😀 xoxo
Hi Kelly!
Thank you! I love when a card is overly “Chistamssy”! I can’t believe how fast the year is moving either! Christmas will be here before you know it! I had a wonderful day and I hope that you did too! XOXOXO 🙂
Very pretty and love the simplicity. Always love a shaker and this one looks stunning! Hope you are enjoying your new car and the warmer weather.
Thank you Louise! The frame makes it a fun and easy shaker to put together! Loving my card and the weather! Hope you are enjoying Summer too! 🙂
Love craft paper and cherry red combo. Very folk-artsy, which I love. Yeah tomorrow is Friday. Hope your day was a great one.
Yes, Me too Nancy! My Thursday was fantastic! Hope that you had a nice week! 🙂
Very stunning creation. Dont want to even think about Christmas yet. Christmas means winter…I am so done with winter.
Thanks Linda! I know, me either! But it will be here before we know it! I too am over Winter, maybe we will get lucky and have a mild one! 🙂
