I had another somewhat of a lazy day yesterday. I just can’t seem to get motivated to do much! I did run out to get some stuff from Target yesterday but the rest of the day was spent mostly in front of the TV and that’s not like me at all. I made two cards, only two! Lets hope that today is a bit more productive!
One of those cards is for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…
Much to my dismay I made a holiday card! LOL! I guess that it’s not too early to start. The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Down the middle is a piece of Black. I die cut some more of the 110lb Card Stock with the Simon Says Stamp Snowflake Block Die and adhered to the card with 2-Way Glue. Across the lower half is a strip of Black that is adhered with some Foam Tape. The greeting is also die cut from 110lb using the Simon Says Stamp Deco Tree Die and adhered to the strip of Black with some more 2-Way Glue. Super clean and super simple! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge! Thanks for your visit and have a simple Saturday! š
Products used:
Card Stock: Solar White 110lb (Neenah) and Black 100lb (Michaels)
Dies: Snowflake Block and Deco Tree (Simon Says Stamp)
Adhesives: SNAIL, 2-Way Glue and 3M Foam Tape
Tools: Big Shot
Love the card. The center is so different.

Thank you Nancy! It’s a fun and very delicate die! š
Beautiful card Justin! Love the die cut.
Thanks Gerri! It is a really cool die! š
Hi Justin!
My first thought was “black and white for a Christmas card?” My next thought was “why not?”. LOL Simple but elegant card. I really do love Simon Says dies.
Don’t worry about your lack of energy. It’s called Jet lag and it takes about a week to get back to your “normal”. After that it will be Justin, just like the pink energy bunny. š
You have yourself a Super Saturday. Love and hugs to you my friend! XO š
Hey Grace!
You know me, I like any colors except red and green for Christmas! LOL! Yes, Simon dies are so cool!
I don’t think it’s a lack of energy, it’s just a slight down. I’m sure thatI will get over it, it’s just going to take some time.
I hope that you had a good Saturday! Love and hugs to you! XOXO š
You? not motivated, I find that hard to imagine. Love this card, that die is fantastic!
It has happened Linda, no motivation. Hopefully it will pass soon! Glad that you like the card, the die is great! š
Hey Justin, good to see you made it home safely! I reckon it’s always a bit of a downer after a holiday, back to reality with a thud -_- Time to start planning/saving for the next trip š Thanks for taking us on your holiday, I enjoyed your photos! Gorgeous Christmas card – that snowflake die is stunning, very different in the block shape. Enjoy your Sunday and try not to think of Monday…. š xoxo
Hi Kelly!
Thank you! It is a huge downer to be away for so long and then to have to think about going back to work! Yup, time to start saving! I’m so glad that you came along on my trip! The card was fun and easy to make, we need those cards! Hope that you are having a nice weekend! XOXO š
Great card, Justin. The black and white are striking and I love the snowflake die which makes it seem we are peeking out of a window to the “S” word. I don’t want to say it this early!! lol
Thanks very much HJ! Yes, no “s” word yet, or ever! LOL! š
stunning!
Thanks Ann! š
