SIP Challenge 147 – Color It!

Hello strangers!! It’s been way too long! I have been keeping busy with lots of different things. My Mojo is still MIA, I don’t know what happened! I guess after 5 years of making a card a day my creativity wore a little thin. The thing I miss the most is talking to all of you! I have been to Manhattan a few times to see some of my peeps. Jim and I went in a few weeks ago and stopped by The Ink Pad and then went an had Indian Food with my friend Kim. That was fun! I’m also watching Daniel and Tristan twice a week now which is great! I love getting to spend time with them! I also need to go and see about getting the top in my car fixed, it’s convertible season and I miss putting down the roof! Today is also Jim’s Birthday! Happy Birthday Jim!! πŸ˜€

We have a fun Color It challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog this week…

My favorite kind of cards to make are ones with large images that can just be stamped! Concord & 9th has a great new set in their April release and I used it to make a set of cards! I started by cutting my card bases from Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stack and using my Stamparatus! I love the fact that it has more than one plate and that they are removable. It’s especially handy when you are stamping layering stamps! I used the Concord & 9th Painted Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set. The outline and greeting are stamped in Black Licorice. I stamped the leaves in JalapeΓ±o and Noble Fir. Each of the flowers are stamped in two in colors. Ballet Slippers and Peachy Keen, Minty Fresh and Merman, Sunflower and Carrot, and finally Grape Soda and Juice Box. I added the spatters in the lighter of the two colors around the rose and the cards are done! Now I have a nice set of cards to give to someone that will work for many different occasions! I hope that you like my Design Team Cards for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color It Challenge! The is more inspiration over on the BLOG so be sure to check it out and share your card with us in the gallery! It’s so nice to get to share with you again and I really appreciate you stopping by! Have a terrific Tuesday everyone! πŸ™‚

Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Spring!

Hello and a very happy Monday to you all! Did you have a nice weekend?! Mine was pretty good. Friday night at Brian and Kim’s was a lot of fun. It was nice to see everyone! Saturday I worked on some projects and then Sunday I sort of took it easy. The weather was pretty nice, although I’m still waiting for Spring! It’s not here yet and I saw this morning that there may be more snow later in the week! Winter just seems to have forgotten that’s it’s overstayed its welcome! πŸ˜€

It’s release day over at Concord & 9th so that means that it’s time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

To me Spring means nice bright colors and lots of flowers. But it also means that wedding season is starting. I decided to make a pretty simple card that would be perfect to give to the new couple! To start I heat embossed the large floral from the Concord & 9th Wonderful Florals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Ivory 110lb Card Stock. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die and added to a card base of Ivory 110lb with 3M Foam Tape. The letters are cut out with one of the other Dies in the set from Silver Glitter Card and adhered to the floral panel with more 3M Foam Tape. Nice and simple but with lots of bling! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Spring Challenge! We hope that you will take some time to share your creation with us! Head over to the BLOG for more inspiration! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! Thanks for starting your week off here with me! Have a marvelous Monday! πŸ™‚

Rainbow Unicorn Birthday – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Almost to the weekend! Yay! It’s chilly here on Long Island again, where oh where is Spring?! I have been keeping really busy with lots of projects, sometimes a little too busy but it does make the days go by quick! Everyone by me is doing well. Jim and I will be going over to Brian and Kim’s tomorrow evening for a little get together. Their house is finished so there is a nice big space for us all to hang out in! It will be fun to see everyone, just like old times! πŸ˜€

Now, It’s time for my April Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I used a new set and an older one that I thought were made for each other!

I started by stamping the rainbow from the Concord & 9th Rainbow Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sugarplum, Fish Tank, Jalapeno, Sunflower, Carrot and Lobster Ink using my MISIT so I could easily line up the individual stripes. The greeting is then stamped in Jet Black. My unicorn is from the Concord & 9th Unicorn Awesomeness Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Jet Black and colored in with Copics. I added some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen to the mane and tail and then used the Coordinating Dies to cut him out. For the clouds I used one of the dies from the Rainbow Wishes Die Set and cut the clouds out from Silver Glitter Card. They are adhered to the card with E-Z Runner and trimmed. All that was left to do was to add the unicorn with 3M Foam Tape and the card is done! Who doesn’t like a card with a  rainbow and a unicorn?!

I hope that you like the card for my April Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on April 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! SIP Challenge 144 – Birthday!

Hello! I finally had a little burst of Mojo the other day! It has been elusive as of late! I have also been busy working on a new project that I will get to share with you soon. A little business venture! I have been keeping myself busy helping out with some computer stuff for friends. There really hasn’t been much else going on. I did go into Manhattan to see some friends last weekend but other than that not much else has been happening! We had another three inches of snow yesterday but thankfully it’s all gone! Now I would like it if Spring could finally get it’s act together! LOL! πŸ˜€

I have a simple stamped card to share with you today for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I started by stamping the banner and sentiment from the Concord & 9th Banners & Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set in Jet Black onto a piece of Solar White 80lb using my Mini MISTI. The rest of the images are from the same set and are also stamped in Jet Black. To color them in I used my Copics, doing some very simple shading just to give them a little depth. All that was left to do was to adhere the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Nice and simple and very easy to make quick duplicates of! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Birthday Challenge! Check out the rest of the Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share your creation with us in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me today! Have a terrific Tuesday! πŸ™‚
