SIP Challenge 168 – Tic-Tac-Toe

Hi there! Did you all have a nice weekend?! I did! Saturday night I had dinner with Jim and Sunday I went into Manhattan to see my friends Jon and Mary and then met up with Kim. We had a quick lunch and then she took me to see the final performance of the play Carousel on Broadway for my Birthday! It was a beautiful day too so we wandered around a bit. I ended up walking seven miles! A good weekend indeed! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I went diagonally from the bottom left to the top right! I started my card by stamping the background using the Concord & 9th Happy Plaids Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman and Freshly Cut Grass using my MISTI onto Solar White 80lb. Next I die cut the tag and pocket from Kraft and Vellum. Onto both I heat embossed my greeting from the Concord & with Holiday Cheer Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. A piece of Fun Foam is adhered to the back of the Vellum pocket. I added Gold Thread and some pine that I die cut from Noble Fir using a die from the Concord & 9th Happy Holidays Label Dies. For my card base I added a piece of Kraft to Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The background is adhered and then the tag. A simple and fun card using my favorite colors for the Holidays! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! You can stop by the BLOG for more inspiration and we hope to see your card in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me today, enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 167 – Large Sentiment!

Hi there and a happy Tuesday to you all! I hope that you all had a nice weekend, I did! Although, it has been raining here since Saturday night and looks it will be raining through the rest of the week. Thankfully I have been getting a little more of my MOJO back so spending time in the Stampin’ Galley will be fun! I also got some Polychromos Pencils and Alcohol Ink and I need to try them! LOL! πŸ˜€

Since it’s Tuesday it’s time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I have a few of the Concord & 9th Turnabout Stamps that I haven’t had the chance to play with so I pulled one out to have a little play! My background is stamped on a piece of Solar White 80lb with Hippo, Freshly Cut Grass, Merman and Fresh Lavender Ink using the Concord & 9th Lovely Blossoms Photopolymer Stamp and my MISTI. It’s adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For my greeting I used the FRIEND from the Concord & 9th Posie Fill-In Die and cut it out from Black 110lb. It’s adhered to a piece of Vellum with Glue Tube. To add it to the card I cut some Black 3D Foam Squares and hid them behind the letters. Just a few Basic Jewels Rhinestones scattered across from top left to lower right complete the card! I really do love those Turnabout Stamps, you can make awesome backgrounds in any color that you want!

I hope that you enjoyed my card! Be sure to stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s projects and share yours with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting and have a terrific Tuesday! πŸ™‚

Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Color Inspiration!

Hello there my friends! I hope that you are enjoying your weekend! It’s a little rainy here so I have been spending some time cleaning out the Stampin’ Galley. I’ll be participating in a craft sale on September 22nd in Oceanside to help with my ongoing purge! I’ll share more details with you as we get closer! I think that there are 12 of us in total so there will be some great goodies for sale! πŸ˜€

It’s release day over at Concord & 9th so it’s time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

Some nice soft Fall colors! I started my card by creating the background using the Plaid Background Photopolymer Stamp and my MISTI. It’s stamped in Mint Julep and Cup O Joe onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. The background is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Next I used the Lovely Blossoms Dies to cut out a piece of Calypso Coral and Early Espresso. I adhered the Calypso Coral die cut to another piece of Calypso Coral and used Glue Tube to add back in the you are lovely and frame. The excess is trimmed off with my Scissors. The tails are two pieces of Wood Textures 6×6 Paper. I added them behind the die cut and the added a piece of Fun Foam. To soften the background a bit I trimmed a piece of Vellum to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and and added that to the back of the die cut and then adhered the whole thing to the card with E-Z Runner Ultra Strong. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Espresso, Lemon Drop and Lime Sorbet Sequins and a die cut flower also from the Lovely Blossoms Dies cut from a piece of So Saffron complete the card!

Thankful Leaf – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Happy September! Hopefully the warm weather stays around for a while longer even though technically the Summer is over. I had a great week up at the lake last week, a nice way to end the Summer for sure. I started watching my Niece and Nephew again, Daniel goes to full day kindergarten so it’s just me and Tristan for most of the day. I’m not looking forward to the cooler weather at all! How bout you?! πŸ˜€

It’s time for my August Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! The Thankful Leaves Dies are definitely my favorite from last month’s release! I love that leaf die so I used it again on today’s card. I was watching one of Jennifer McGuire’s videos and decided that I wanted to try one of her shadowbox cards! I did all of the steps to make the box for the card using Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the die cut inside I used just the outline of the Leaf Die. For my background I stamped the Thankful Leaves Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp in Freshly Cut Grass and a Sunflower, twice with each color, onto Solar White 80lb. The panel is trimmed to fit inside the card. On the front of the card I used the Leaf Die again with the inside piece to cut out some Lime Glitter Paper from the Summer Glitter Paper Pack. It’s adhered to the card front with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Along the bottom I stamped the THANKFUL, also from the Thankful Leaves Turnabout in Freshly Cut Grass. To go inside my die cut leaf on the inside of the card I used a piece of Heat Resistant Acetate and heat embossed another greeting in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. It’s adhered to the back of the die cut panel with Scor-Tape. All that was left to do was assemble the card. I’ll definitely be making more shadowbox cards, love the way they look!

I hope that you like the card for my September Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on September 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday!!

Feature Friday for Concord & 9th – Grateful for Everything!

Happy last Friday of August to you all! I can’t believe that the Summer is almost over! It went so fast. I had a very nice week that I spent at Jim’s house in Pennsylvania. The weather was perfect, no rain and nice and warm. I even went in the lake! We also made two headboards from palette wood. I love the way that they came out! You’ll have to let me know what you think!

I think they add a nice rustic look that’s perfect for a lake house! I came home last night and didn’t hit any traffic until I got to the George Washington Bridge. There is always so much traffic in New York, even at 9:00PM! πŸ˜€

It’s time for our last Feature Friday post for Concord & 9th’s August release. Today we are featuring the Grateful for Everything Stamps and Dies! A beautiful floral spray that is slightly larger than an A2 card.

I felt like using my colored pencils to do a little coloring so I stamped the floral image from the Grateful for Everything Photopolymer Stamp Set in Black Licorice onto a piece of Kraft. Once I had finished my coloring I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.

My greeting is cut from a piece of Black 110lb and adhered to a card base of Kraft Card Stock with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. The floral image is added and I used my Scissors to trim off the overhang and the card is done! Nice and simple, you could stamp a few of the floral images and take them with you to color!

I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Feature Friday post for Concord & 9th! Thank you so much for visiting and have a spectacular weekend! πŸ™‚

Feature Friday for Concord & 9th – Thankful Leaves!

Happy Friday! I have been watching Brian and Kim’s girls Izzy and Savannah all week. They went on a well deserved and much needed cruise to the Bahamas with two of their friends. The girls have been so good and we have had a lot of fun! I’m sure that will be happy to see Mom and Dad when they get home on Sunday! πŸ˜€

It’s time for another Feature Friday post for Concord & 9th! This week we are featuring the Thankful Leaves Stamps and Dies! I also used a sentiment from the Shiplap Sentiments Stamp Set!

I really do love that leaf die and today I used it to make a shaker card! I began by cutting out the solid leaf from a piece of Grey 110lb Card Stock. On the bottom I heat embossed the Hello from The Shiplap Sentiments Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. I then used the Leaf Die with the insert to cut out a piece of Copper Glitter Paper from the Summer Glitter Paper Pack. On the back of the Grey panel I adhered a piece of Acetate and then used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhere to the copper glitter leaf to the Acetate. Some 3M Foam Tape is added to the back of the panel. I used a darker piece of Grey 110lb Card Stock for the card base and added Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold, Pewter and Marshmallow Sequins before adhering the front. I love all of the sparkle and that Glitter Paper from Concord & 9th is awesome!

I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Feature Friday post for Concord & 9th! Thank you for spending a little time with me today! Have a fantastic Weekend! ?

Feature Friday for Concord & 9th – So Happy for You!

Happy Friday peeps! I have had a pretty quiet week. Got some things done around the house, caught up on a bunch of stuff and binged some Netflix. I want to make plans to maybe go into Manhattan this weekend but it’s supposed to rain and they can’t decide if it’s going to be on Saturday or Sunday. I think that we should be able to determine that by now! I’m going to be taking care of my friends Brian and Kim’s girls Izzy and Savannah next week while they go away on vacation. Gotta plan some things to get us out of the house! LOL! πŸ˜€

It’s time for another Feature Friday post for Concord & 9th! This week we are using the So Happy for You Stamps and Dies!

I also used the Top it Off Stamps and Dies! To start my card I stamped the flowers and leaves from the So Happy for You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sugarplum, Peachy Keen, Sunflower, Freshly Cut Grass and Noble Fir and then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. For my greeting I stamped the Oh Happy Day from the Top it off Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sugarplum onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and then used the hoop die to cut it out. For the outline I used the hoop die to cut out a piece of Gold Glitter Paper from the Neutrals Glitter Pack. Another circle is cut from another piece of Solar White 110lb using the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies. The stamped greeting and hoop are added to the circle with E-Z Runner and Multi-Purpose Spray. It looked a little plain so I used the Oh Happy Day Die to cut out some more Gold Glitter Paper and then added that to the greeting. I arranged my flowers and leaves behind the circle and then picked them up with some Glad Press n Seal, added adhesive to the back and adhered them to the card. The circle is then adhered with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I love the bright flowers and bold sparkly greeting, a happy day indeed!

I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Feature Friday post for Concord & 9th! Thanks you for spending a little time with me today! Have a fantastic Weekend! πŸ™‚

Wedding Congrats – Concord & 9th!

Happy Monday! How was the weekend?! Mine was good. I drove upstate to see my friends Ella and Tom on Saturday. The rain was terrible on the way up there but the sun did peek out later in the afternoon. Yesterday I got some things done around the house and then went over to see Brian and Kim for a bit. Today I have some cleaning and laundry to do, fun right?! LOL! I’m going to try and get into the Stampin’ Galley too, let’s see if that happens! πŸ˜€

I forgot to share my card with you last week featuring the NEW Concord & 9th Top it Off Stamps! So that’s what I have for you today! I started by heat embossing some of the images from the set in Hero Arts White and Copper Embossing Powder onto a piece of Grey 110lb Card Stock. I used my Mini MISTI to make sure that everything was lined up! Once all of my heat embossing was done I adhered the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For a little sparkle I added Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins and the card is done! The card was pretty simple to make and I think would work great for a wedding! I hope that you enjoyed my card for today! Thank you for visiting with me and have a marvelous Monday! πŸ™‚

Feature Friday for Concord & 9th – Birthday Balloon!

Happy Friday! I hope that you all had a nice week. It has been really hot here and I’m loving it! The Summer is definitely my favorite time of year and I can’t believe that it’s already August! I have been enjoying driving around with the top down in my car and trying to keep busy. This weekend I will be taking a ride to see a friend upstate. That will be fun! πŸ˜€

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post I’ll be helping Concord & 9th celebrate their third Birthday along with the rest of my teammates from the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! We will have posts from you every Friday this month featuring products from this month’s release! Today we are featuring the Birthday Ballon Stamps and Dies. You can earn the Dies for FREE with a qualifying $60 purchase and get the Stamps too when you make a qualifying $120 purchase!

I do love a nice large image in a set, makes for great quick cards! My card starts with a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cut to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. I placed it in my Mini MISTI and stamped the balloon from the Birthday Balloon Photopolymer Stamp Set in Peacock, JalapeΓ±o and Merman Ink. The greeting is stamped in Black Licorice. I used the happy die to cut out a piece of Silver Glitter Card and adhered it to the panel with Multi-Matte Medium. The panel is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the strings I used a Comic Multi-liner and the card is done! A quick, simple and fun Birthday card! I love the way that light blue balloon looks like it’s on top of all of the others!

I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Concord & 9th Feature Friday post! You can check out the main post over on Concord & 9th blog and then go and see all of the other projects from my talented teammates! Thanks so much for visiting with me today! Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Anything Goes!

Hello!

It’s release day over at Concord & 9th! It’s also their third Birthday! We will be celebrating with them all month long with Feature Friday posts! Each Friday we will be sharing ideas for one of this month’s new products! It’s also time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

You all know that Concord & 9th is one of my favorite companies and I do love to get goodies early! LOL! I used the NEW Thankful Leaves Dies to make a masculine Birthday card! To start I choose a piece of glitter paper from the Concord & 9th Neutrals Glitter Pack and a piece of Copper Foil Sheet. For the glitter paper I used the Thankful Leaves Die and poked out all of the pieces. When I cut out the one from the Copper Foil Sheet the pieces stayed and I liked the look! I used the Die again without the middle piece to cut out a piece of Desert Storm 80lb to back the Copper leaf and adhered it with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. For the card I used the Barnwood Background Photopolymer Stamp and some Hero Arts Soft Brown Ink and stamped it onto another piece of Desert Storm 80lb. That is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For my greeting I heat embossed the Let’s Celebrate from the Triple Step Hooray Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder onto more Desert Storm 80lb and trimmed it out with my scissors. The leaves are then adhered to the card with more Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive and the greeting with 3m Foam Tape. A simple fun Birthday card with a masculine twist!

I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Anything Goes Challenge! We hope that you will take some time to share your creation with us! Head over to the BLOG for more inspiration! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope that you enjoy the rest of your Thursday!
