SIP Challenge 147 – Color It!

Hello strangers!! It’s been way too long! I have been keeping busy with lots of different things. My Mojo is still MIA, I don’t know what happened! I guess after 5 years of making a card a day my creativity wore a little thin. The thing I miss the most is talking to all of you! I have been to Manhattan a few times to see some of my peeps. Jim and I went in a few weeks ago and stopped by The Ink Pad and then went an had Indian Food with my friend Kim. That was fun! I’m also watching Daniel and Tristan twice a week now which is great! I love getting to spend time with them! I also need to go and see about getting the top in my car fixed, it’s convertible season and I miss putting down the roof! Today is also Jim’s Birthday! Happy Birthday Jim!! ๐Ÿ˜€

We have a fun Color It challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog this week…

My favorite kind of cards to make are ones with large images that can just be stamped! Concord & 9th has a great new set in their April release and I used it to make a set of cards! I started by cutting my card bases from Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stack and using my Stamparatus! I love the fact that it has more than one plate and that they are removable. It’s especially handy when you are stamping layering stamps! I used the Concord & 9th Painted Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set. The outline and greeting are stamped in Black Licorice. I stamped the leaves in Jalapeรฑo and Noble Fir. Each of the flowers are stamped in two in colors. Ballet Slippers and Peachy Keen, Minty Fresh and Merman, Sunflower and Carrot, and finally Grape Soda and Juice Box. I added the spatters in the lighter of the two colors around the rose and the cards are done! Now I have a nice set of cards to give to someone that will work for many different occasions! I hope that you like my Design Team Cards for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color It Challenge! The is more inspiration over on the BLOG so be sure to check it out and share your card with us in the gallery! It’s so nice to get to share with you again and I really appreciate you stopping by! Have a terrific Tuesday everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Spring!

Hello and a very happy Monday to you all! Did you have a nice weekend?! Mine was pretty good. Friday night at Brian and Kim’s was a lot of fun. It was nice to see everyone! Saturday I worked on some projects and then Sunday I sort of took it easy. The weather was pretty nice, although I’m still waiting for Spring! It’s not here yet and I saw this morning that there may be more snow later in the week! Winter just seems to have forgotten that’s it’s overstayed its welcome! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s release day over at Concord & 9th so that means that it’s time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

To me Spring means nice bright colors and lots of flowers. But it also means that wedding season is starting. I decided to make a pretty simple card that would be perfect to give to the new couple! To start I heat embossed the large floral from the Concord & 9th Wonderful Florals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Ivory 110lb Card Stock. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die and added to a card base of Ivory 110lb with 3M Foam Tape. The letters are cut out with one of the other Dies in the set from Silver Glitter Card and adhered to the floral panel with more 3M Foam Tape. Nice and simple but with lots of bling! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Spring Challenge! We hope that you will take some time to share your creation with us! Head over to the BLOG for more inspiration! Donโ€™t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! Thanks for starting your week off here with me! Have a marvelous Monday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Rainbow Unicorn Birthday – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Almost to the weekend! Yay! It’s chilly here on Long Island again, where oh where is Spring?! I have been keeping really busy with lots of projects, sometimes a little too busy but it does make the days go by quick! Everyone by me is doing well. Jim and I will be going over to Brian and Kim’s tomorrow evening for a little get together. Their house is finished so there is a nice big space for us all to hang out in! It will be fun to see everyone, just like old times! ๐Ÿ˜€

Now, It’s time for my April Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I used a new set and an older one that I thought were made for each other!

I started by stamping the rainbow from the Concord & 9th Rainbow Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sugarplum, Fish Tank, Jalapeno, Sunflower, Carrot and Lobster Ink using my MISIT so I could easily line up the individual stripes. The greeting is then stamped in Jet Black. My unicorn is from the Concord & 9th Unicorn Awesomeness Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Jet Black and colored in with Copics. I added some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen to the mane and tail and then used the Coordinating Dies to cut him out. For the clouds I used one of the dies from the Rainbow Wishes Die Set and cut the clouds out from Silver Glitter Card. They are adhered to the card with E-Z Runner and trimmed. All that was left to do was to add the unicorn with 3M Foam Tape and the card is done! Who doesn’t like a card with a  rainbow and a unicorn?!

I hope that you like the card for my April Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Donโ€™t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on April 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! SIP Challenge 144 – Birthday!

Hello! I finally had a little burst of Mojo the other day! It has been elusive as of late! I have also been busy working on a new project that I will get to share with you soon. A little business venture! I have been keeping myself busy helping out with some computer stuff for friends. There really hasn’t been much else going on. I did go into Manhattan to see some friends last weekend but other than that not much else has been happening! We had another three inches of snow yesterday but thankfully it’s all gone! Now I would like it if Spring could finally get it’s act together! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€

I have a simple stamped card to share with you today for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I started by stamping the banner and sentiment from the Concord & 9th Banners & Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set in Jet Black onto a piece of Solar White 80lb using my Mini MISTI. The rest of the images are from the same set and are also stamped in Jet Black. To color them in I used my Copics, doing some very simple shading just to give them a little depth. All that was left to do was to adhere the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Nice and simple and very easy to make quick duplicates of! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Birthday Challenge! Check out the rest of the Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share your creation with us in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me today! Have a terrific Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 142 – Colors!

Hello everyone! I hope that you had a nice weekend and that your week is off to a good start! I had a very quiet weekend, I did go over and see Brian & Kim on Saturday. They had an addition added to their house and it’s so nice and really big now! They needed the space! Last night Jim came by for a bit so that we could work on a couple of projects on the computer. I’m a bit late today, I managed to get some crafty time in and I didn’t want to stop while Mojo was present! LOL! We are to get more snow later on today into tomorrow. Between 1 and 11 inches, I’m hoping for the latter! ๐Ÿ˜€

I have my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge to share with you today! This week we have some fun colors…

I started by using my Mini MISTI to stamp the Concord & 9th Posie Fill-In background onto a piece of Solar White 80lb with Hippo Ink. The flowers and leaves are stamped using the Fill-In images and Merman, Peacock and Jalapeรฑo Ink. I adhered the background to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Across the top half is a piece of Grey Sparkle Washi Tape and a thin strip of Peacock on top of that. My greeting is cut from Medium Grey 110lb four times using the Concord & 9th Hooray Die. I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhere the hoorays to each other and Multi-Matte Medium to adhere it to the card. It’s coated with Nuvo Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer Pen. For a little added bling I scattered Pretty Pink Posh Peacock and Shamrock Sequins around the flowers. I love the grid background on the stamp and the fun hooray! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you for stopping by today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Paper Craft Crew 284

Well, we had our snow yesterday. Some places got 2 inches and some places got 11 inches! Thankfully we only got about 4 inches and most of it is gone off of the roads. I managed to get all of my laundry done and a few projects finished. Taylor stopped by in the evening and then I finished off the day with a little TV. This morning I’ll be doing some stuff on the computer and following up on some things. I have a meeting later for the charity event that we are planning with Jim and Laura. A busy day just like I like them! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I have my card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge to share with you…

A good sketch for some fun layers! To start my card I stamped the flowers from the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sugarplum using my Mini MISTI so that I could double;e stamp them. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies. The leaves are cut from Noble Fir and Solar White 80lb using the Just Because Dies. I added the flowers and leaves to a tag that I cut from a piece of Desert Storm 80lb with the tag die from the Concord & 9th Sprinkles Tag Dies. Next I stamped the JUST from the Concord & 9th Just Because Photopolymer Stamp Set in Black Licorice. The because is also from the Just Because Die Set and is cut from Black 110lb and adhered to the tag with Multi-Matte Medium. Onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I put a strip of 3M Post-it Tape across the lower half and stamped the outline leaves from the Just Because Set in Noble Fir. A strip of Cosmic Grape goes across along the top of the stamping. Down the right side is a strip of Medium Grey 110lb with the leaves heat embossed in Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder. All that was left to do was to add the tag with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner! It’s been a while since I have made a card with some layers, I missed it! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks you paying me a visit today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Sketch!

Happy Friday! I have had a busy week! Lots of projects to get done and I watched the kids twice including today! I do love to be busy, it gets your mind off of all the other little things that nag at you. I hope that you all are doing well! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time once again for another challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog and this month we have a sketch…

I went nice and simple and used an old favorite and a new one! My flower is from the Concord & 9th Pretty Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed the center layer in Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder onto a piece of Light Grey 110lb using my Mini MISTI so that I could stamp it twice to get a nice even coat! It’s then cut out with the Coordinating Die. My greeting is cut from a piece of Shadow Curious Metallic using the Concord & 9th Fabulous Phrases Dies. I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to add it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and some 3M Foam Tape to add the flower. A Large Pearl in the center of the flower competes the card. Nice and simple and it work for a sympathy card, one card I don’t like to make. I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Sketch Challenge! We hope that you will take some time to share your creation with us! Magnolia Thanks – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Hello strangers! LOL! I have had the pleasure of spending a few days in Brunswick, Georgia at my friend Kim’s Sister’s house. I got out of New York just in time leaving on Thursday before the storm hit. The weather here has been lovely, sunny and in the high 60’s to low 70’s. We went to St Simon’s Island, the Okefenokee Swamp Park and Savannah. I have been taking lots of pictures and have a few to share with you…

One of the giant Oak trees in the sub-division where I stayed

I’ll have more pics to share with you later in the week! Sadly we are flying home later on today but I have missed a certain someone a lot and will be happy to see them! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time for my March Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I combined a few sets to make a simple card.

I started by stamping the watercolor strip from the Concord & 9th Seasonal Borders Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock down the left side. Next I stamped the wreath from the Concord & 9th Magnolia Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set in Jalapeรฑo and Noble Fir using my Mini MISTI. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die and adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. For my greeting I used the thanks die from the Concord & 9th Fabulous Phrases Dies to cut out a piece of Gold Mirror Card and a piece of Solar White 110lb. They are adhered to each other with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. To adhered it to the wreath I used Multi-Matte Medium. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Sea Breeze and Gold Sequins on the wreath and the card is done! I love that wreath!

I hope that you like the card for my March Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Donโ€™t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! Paper Craft Crew 281

Hello from foggy Long Island! It was a beautiful day here yesterday! We got up into the 60’s, something we haven’t seen in a while! I made sure that in between trying to get some work done I went outside to enjoy the mild weather. So nice to not have to put a jacket on! I did manage to get a lot accomplished and finished off the evening with a Target run and a little TV. This morning I’m going to get a haircut and do some things around the house. It’s supposed to be warm again and then we are to have rain for the next four days. At least it’s not snow! ๐Ÿ˜€

I also squeezed in a card yesterday for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I used one of my all time favorite color combos and some new to me goodies! My background is a piece of Solar White 80lb with the Concord & 9th Many Thanks Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp stamped in Merman, Peacock, Freshly Cut Grass and Hippo using my MISTI. I find that if you print out the alignment guide from the Concord & 9th web site it makes it so much easier to get a perfect image! I added the background to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My panel is a piece of 53lb Iridescent Vellum with the corners rounded on the right. The greeting is cut from Peacock using the Concord & 9th Fabulous Phrases Dies. I added it to the vellum with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Along the bottom is another piece of Peacock cut out with the Concord & 9th Many Thanks Dies. That is added to the Vellum with 3M Foam Tape. To adhere the Vellum to the card I used Multi-Matte Medium behind the die cut and XOXO. I liked the shimmer on the Vellum so much that I decided to use my Nuvo Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer Pen to add some more to the dies cuts. All that was left to do was to round the right side corners of the card and done! I forgot that I had the Vellum and I love the way it add some shimmer and tones down the background but you can still see it! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and let’s see yours in the gallery! Thank you for stopping by! Have a Wonderful Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 138 – Card Maker’s Choice!

Hey! How are you all?! I’m ok, had a really quiet weekend, not my favorite kind but it is what it is. My Brother and Erika stopped by on Saturday with the kiddies to see my Mum for a bit. She is still not great but the kids did get her mind off of the pain that she is in for a while. Yesterday I worked on a bunch of stuff that needed to get done. I have to run to the Post Office at some point today to mail out some goodies to peeps. I did manage to make a shadowbox scrapbook page for Jim to give to a friend last night. This morning, the usual stuff to get through. It’s super foggy here and they say that it’s going to take a while to clear up, good times! ๐Ÿ˜€

With my lack of Mojo I have missed the last two Stamp, Ink, Paper challenges! But I did manage to get a nice simple card made for this week…

I wanted something bright and simple, I also just felt like coloring, nothing fancy! Onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped the Concord & 9th Wonderful Florals Photopolymer Stamp in Hippo using my Mini MISTI. I went really bright with some Prismacolor Premiere Pencils. A little shading on the leaves and simple coloring on the flowers. These would be great to stamp and either take with you and color on the go or send a set to someone with some pencils for them to color in! So there you have my simple bright Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Card Maker’s Choice Challenge! Lots more inspiration over on the BLOG so be sure to stop by and check it out! We love when you share your creativity with us by entering your cards in the gallery! We can’t wait to see what you make! Thank you so much for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚
