    Another fun filled productive day with Sue yesterday! We got a lot accomplished and that is always a good thing! I stopped home and had a quick dinner and then headed over to Heather’s to get her so that we could go and see Brian Kim for a bit last night. We sat around the fire pit just like old times! Kim is taking the kids to see her Aunt in Florida this weekend, a nice quick getaway for them. Today I’m going to continue to work on some projects and get them out of the way! 😀

    I did squeeze in a card yesterday and it’s for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…

    To start my card I stamped my images from the Concord & 9th Enjoy it All Photopolymer Stamp Set in Jalapeño, Fresh Lavender, Sugarplum, Merman and Peacock. They are cut out using the Coordinating Dies from the Detailed Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set and arranged them onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock so that I would know where to stamp my greeting from the same set in Jalapeño. The flowers and leaves are adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares and I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst, Lucky and Sea Breeze Sequins for a little shine! A simple little flower cluster and a nice bold greeting makes for a fun card don’t you think?! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge!     I have been wanting to have a lazy Sunday morning for a while so that’s just what I had this morning! I woke up around 8:00 but laid in bed reading Apple News on my iPad. A good way to start the day. Yesterday was nice, Taylor came by in the evening and we grabbed some dinner. She was off to Manhattan with some friends after that. I watched TV and tried to find a book to read. Any suggestions for a really good book? I’m waiting for the new Dan Brown one but that’s not until October! How is your weekend going? 😀

    Ok, I apologize for my obesession with the Concord & 9th Happy Balloons Set! I have another card to share with you today using it! It’s such a great set for quick cards and just some stamping! I do love to just do some stamping! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the balloons from the set in Jalapeño, Mermaid and Sugarplum in the upper left corner. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Enjoy it All Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Black Licorice using my Mini MISTI, I like to use to the MISTI to make sure that my sentiments are lined up! For the strings I used a Coptic Multi-liner and my ruler to draw them in. Some Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst, Lucky and Sea Breeze Sequins add a little sparkle and finish the card.     A late good morning to you! I had a busy day yesterday, it was rainy and dreary so I managed to stay focused and get stuff done around the house. Around 6:00 I went over and met George and we headed out to Bohemia to meet up with Heather at our friend Patty’s house. They were having a party for Patty’s daughter’s birthday. A good time was had by all. I didn’t get home until after 1:00 so I got up this morning and made a quick card to share with you. Not sure what I’ll be up to today but hopefully it will be productive! 😀

    The card is a really quick and easy one that uses minimal supplies. I stamped the balloons from the Concord & 9th Happy Balloons Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sunshine and Ballet Slippers onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. To fill in some of the gaps I used the tiny star from the Concord & 9th Seriously Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set and stamped them randomly in the same colors. Next I popped it into my Mini MISTI and stamped the greeting from the Seriously Thank You Set in Black Licorice. That’s it! I like the card so much I’ll be making a few sets in different colors to give as gifts! I hope that you like today’s quick and easy card! Thank you for stopping by!     I guess what they say is true about time flying but I don’t necessarily think that you need to be having fun! I did have a little bit more of a productive day yesterday and today I will be going over to see my friend Sue for some Etsy stuff! Last night Jim came by and we grabbed some pizza for dinner and watched a movie. A nice evening indeed! 😀

    The card that I made late last night is for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…

    I started by trimming a piece of Solar White 80lb to 4 3/4″ wide by 4″ tall and placed it in my Mini MISTI. That fun image is from the Concord & 9th Pineapple Perfection Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the outline in Black Licorice and then stamped the fill-in images in Peacock, Jalapeño, Juice Box, Carrot, Sunflower and Noble Fir. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Aloha Friend Photopolymer Stamp Set and that is stamped in Peacock. I adhered a piece of Peacock Card Stock to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My stamped panel is then trimmed using the Concord & 9th Select-A-SIze Edge Die and adhered to the card base. I added Pretty Pink Posh Ocean Spray, Orchid and Lemon Drop Sequins to finish the card. Love that fun pineapple with all of the flowers and the fill-in images make it nice and easy to make it look great! I hope that you like my card for his week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!     It was a gloomy day here yesterday and despite my best efforts to be productive you know how it goes when it’s gloomy! I binge watched some Netflix and caught up with a few friends. Some stuff did get done but not as much as I had planned. Today is another day and another chance to get caught up! How is your week going?! 😀

    Let’s see… it’s Wednesday so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

    I started my card with the usual card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The images and greeting are from the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the hydrangea in Moonstone and the leaves in Noble Fir. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies. On my card base I added a strip of Silver Glitter Washi Tape and then the leaves and flower with 3M Foam Tape. My greeting is stamped in Noble Fir and just a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Silver Sequins finishes the card! I do love that hydrangea, especially in the Moonstone Ink!     It couldn’t decided whether or not it was going to rain yesterday. It was cloudy for most of the day will little peeks of sun here and there. I actually ended up spending the day with Jim. We got Apple Music all set up for him, imported some CD’s into his computer and binge watched some Stranger Things episodes. I’ll be back over there today to work on some more furniture projects! A fun Sunday! 😀

    I did whip together a quick card when I got home last night at 11:15! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped my images and greeting from the Concord & 9th Hope Photopolymer Stamp Set. The flower is stamped in Minty Fresh and Merman and the leaves in Jalapeño. My greeting is stamped in Merman and Jalapeño in the lower right corner. I added some Pretty Pink Posh Aquamarine and Shamrock Sequins and the card is done!     Yay for the weekend! I had a pretty busy day yesterday. Got my haircut in the morning and spoke to my friend Greg for a little while. I went over and saw Heather, we had lunch and I ran a few errands. The evening was quiet, just a little TV. Today it’s supposed to be rainy so maybe some crafty time?! Good way to spend a rainy day! 😀

    I have another card to share with you today that uses the Concord & 9th Sprinkles Turnabout Set! The background is stamped with it using my MISTI with Freshly Cut Grass and Merman Ink onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. I adhered the trimmed piece to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The cupcakes are stamped in Black Licorice for the outline and the same two ink colors to fill them in. My tag is cut out from a piece of Mermaid Card Stock with the Concord & 9th Sprinkles Tag Dies along with the cupcakes. My greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto the bottom of the tag. I tied a piece of Natural Green Twine through the top and adhered it to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. The cupcakes are adhered with 3D Foam Squares and a little drop of Multi-Matte Medium holds the twine in place! I’m loving that Sprinkles Turnabout, confetti sprinkles in any colors!     Happy, happy Friday peeps! Yes, another beautiful day, and yes I spent a good part of it outside. The morning was spent catching up on things around the house, I do need to be somewhat productive! It was a quiet day all in all. I finished the evening off by watching Collateral Beauty, not the best movie I have seen but not terrible. It’s going to be cooler today but no rain so we should be ok for the day! 😀

    I have the extreme pleasure of being a Guest Designer for Concord & 9th this month along with the rest of the fabulous Design Team over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! For the next four Friday’s we will be featuring a new product from the August Release! This week it’s the fantastic Sprinkles Turnabout Stamps and the Sprinkles Tag Dies!

    As soon as I saw the Sprinkled with Love greeting in the set I knew just what I was going to do! I started my card by using the Sprinkles Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp to heat emboss in Hero Arts Gold and stamp in Ballet Slippers, Peachy Keen and Bubblegum Ink onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. It’s trimmed to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and adhered to a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Next I used the solid heart die from the Heartstrings Dies and the small heart from the Sprinkles Dies to cut out a large and two small hearts from a piece of Guava. I heat embossed the sprinkles in Hero Arts Gold and White Embossing Powder and the greeting in White onto the hearts. They are then adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. Those Turnabout Stamps are just so cool and this one is no exception! Love it along with the greeting! I hope that you enjoyed my Guest Designer card for Concord & 9th!     Hello there and welcome back! I appreciate you stopping by again today! It’s time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! And it’s also Concord & 9th two year anniversary!

    As soon as I saw the set I knew that it would become a favorite! We all make a lot of Thank You cards and this one is great for quick ones! My cards are all note card size with bases of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the Concord & 9th Barnwood Background onto the fronts with Peacock and Jalapeño Ink. Next I stamped the greetings using the Concord & 9th Serious Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in the same colors with my Mini MISTI. The greetings are then adhered to pieces of 29lb Vellum and Fun Foam is used to attach them to my card bases. I could have been done but I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins for a little sparkle! I also stamped the #seriously onto each of the backs of the envelopes! I was going to use these myself but I think that I will tie a piece of ribbon around them and give them to a friend as a little gift! I can always make some more!

    Monday already huh?! Another weekend zipped by! I did end up going to the beach with Heather in the morning yesterday, we stayed for a few hours and then ran a some errands. She made me a turkey burger for dinner and then her and George had to go to a wake so I headed back to my house. Later on Taylor came by and we watched TV for a bit. This morning I have a bunch of things to get finished on the computer and it’s supposed to rain so it will be the perfect day for it! 😀

    I made a quick card late last night and it’s for this week’s Paper Players challenge…

    To begin my card I stamped the Concord & 9th Tree Ring Background Photopolymer Stamp onto a piece of Smoky Slate with Doe Ink and used my Scissors to cut it out. For the greeting I heat embossed one from the Concord & 9th By Your Side Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. The card base is a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with a piece of Desert Storm 80lb adhered to the front. I used Fun Foam and E-Z Runner to adhered the tree ring to the card. The little tree rings are from the Concord & 9th Cozy Up Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped randomly in Yeti Ink onto the background. To finished the card I added Pretty Pink Posh Marshmallow Sequins! As you can see from the picture that Tree Ring is a very well loved stamp!
