Happy Tuesday morning to everyone. I still can’t get myself straightened out after we adjusted the clocks, my mind hasn’t reset itself yet! Is anyone else having this problem too?!?! No on to more important things, I give you this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge…

I always enjoy making my Mojo card and I’m using some of the pre-order items that will be available for customers to pre-order on April 1st. The card base is Whisper White. I ran some Daffodil Delight through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polkadots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The bottom is the new Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (Pre-Order) in Daffodil Delight and Island Indigo. The stamped images are from the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set (Pre-Order) and were markered with Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo Stampin’ Write Markers. The tulips are stamped in Daffodil Delight and perfectly aligned with my Stamp-a-ma-jig. I used the Eyelet Border Punch for a nice edge along the bottom and then it is mounted on Island Indigo and adhered with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. The little piece behind it is Lucky Limeade. I used one of the greetings from the Perfect Words Stamp Set (Host(ess)), it’s stamped in Lucky Limeade and punched out with the Word Window Punch and backed by a piece if Island Indigo punched out with the Modern Label Punch. A piece of the Island Indigo 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon finishes off the card nicely. I hope that you enjoyed today’s card and thanks so much for stopping by!

Good morning and happy Wednesday! I like Wednesday’s because it means that we are half way through and that much closer to Friday! For this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge they provided us with this lovely sketch…

I wanted to use as much Sale-A-Bration as I could for this card. I love all of the products in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog but these three are my favorites! I started with a card base of Poppy Parade and to that I choose a background of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (sale-A-Bration). The Paper Doily Large Sizzlits Die (Occasions Mini) is a great product once you get the shims for your Big Shot correct. I use two of the plastic ones and then use my Paper Piercer to push the pieces through. I cut it in half and then punched out a piece of Very Vanilla with the 2 1/2″ Circle punch and cut that in half and placed it behind before adhering it to the DSP. I think it gives it a little more separation. The strip of Peach Parfait was flagged with the 1 3/8″ Square punch. It makes it so easy to add a flag to anything. Some Everyday Enchantment Brads from the Ribbon and Brad Pack (Sale-A-Bration) are placed along the bottom edge. I stamped an image from the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set (Sale-A-Bration) in Poppy Parade and backed it with some Calypso Coral and rounded the corners with the 3/16″ Corner Rounder. It’s mounted on some Stampin’ Dimensionals and the flower at the top I punched out with the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and placed another brad in the middle and the adhered it with a glue dot. The piece of Pool Party 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon is adhered with some Sticky Strip for extra staying power. To finish off the card I stamped the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes and punched it out with the Word Window Punch. I love playing along with Mojo each week and hope that you enjoyed today’s card. Good morning! It’s Tuesday, which means one more day closer to the weekend! At least we all made it through Monday! Today may I present to you this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge…

The question begs round or square… I always do square (and today is no exception) but one day I’ll have to do round. I decided to play around with the Sale-A-Bration items for today’s card. The card base is Lucky Limeade and to that I added a piece of the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (Sale-A-Bration). I then took some Poppy Parade and punched the edge with the Scallop Edge Border Punch and added a piece of ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack. The images on the Very Vanilla Card Stock are stamped from the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set (Sale-A-Bration) in Soft Suede and then it’s mounted on a piece of Soft Suede Card Stock. I used the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and some Pool Party and Peach Parfait Card Stock for the flower (did you notice that the flower is on the DSP too?!) and put one of the Large Pearls Basic Jewels in the middle. The greeting is from Perfect Words (IB&C – Host(ess)) and is stamped in Lucky Limeade and mounted to a piece of Lucky Limeade that is punched out with the Scallop Oval Punch. I used some Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the rectangle to the card and give it some dimension. I hope that you like today’s card and thanks, as always, for stopping by! Have a great Tuesday!

A very good Thursday to you all. One more day and it’s… FRIDAY!! I love the weekend, but who doesn’t?! Today, I give you this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge…

I really like this weeks sketch, it’s perfect for a Designer Series Paper background. I used some of the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper form the Sale-A-Bration Catalog (FREE with any $50 purchase). I really like the collection of papers that they include and I have used every one of them. The images are from the Vintage Vogue Stamp Set and are stamped in Calypso Coral. I cut the flower out and put it on a Stampin’ Dimensional. Then, I ran a piece of Soft Suede through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polkadots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. A piece of Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon was then tied around it and adhered to the background with a combination of Sticky Strip and SNAIL, I like to make sure that it’s going to stay put! I mounted the stamped piece of Very Vanilla on top of that with more Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is from the Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set and is stamped in Soft Suede. One side has a another Stampin’ Dimensional and the other side SNAIL for even adhesion! I hope that y0u like the card and thanks for taking a look. As always, any comments are greatly appreciated! Hello everyone! Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope that your week has gotten off to a good start. This weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge was created by one of my favorites, Mary Fish…

The base of the card is Wisteria Wonder. I ran some Very Vanilla through my Big Shot using the Perfect Details Texturz Plate for a subtle embossed effect. The top note die is great by itself but when you turn a cutout 90 degrees and run it through again you get a great square top note. The Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die is where the scalloped circle, in Elegant Eggplant, came from. I used the P.S. I Love You Stamp set for the cupid, stamped in Pear Pizzaz, and the Sweet Cake Stamp Set for the greeting also stamped in Pear Pizzaz. The greeting is punched out with the Modern Label Punch and the cupid with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. I used the Perfect Polkadots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with a small piece of Very Vanilla and mounted it on some Pear Pizzaz. Some Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Pear Pizzaz Small Heart Punch heart and the card is finished. I hope you like the card and thanks so much for stopping by. A very good morning to you all. It’s Wednesday people… we are halfway there! Today, I give you this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge…

I love playing along each week, the sketch gets the creative juices flowing! I used Soft Suede, Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Very Vanilla Card Stock. I decided to go with a simple design. For the background I used the Perfect Polkadots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with Soft Suede and, what is my favorite one of late, the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with Poppy Parade. A piece of Crumb Cake punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch conceals the seam. The Happy Birthday, from the Elementary Elegance Stamp Set (Sale-A-Bration), is stamped in Lucky Limeade and then sponged with Crumb Cake. The awesome Labels Collection Framelits Die was embossed with the Designer Frames Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (idea courtesy of Mary Fish) and also sponged in Crumb Cake. A piece of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (Sale-A-Bration) and a piece of Pool Party Card Stock is slipped in behind. The bow is Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon and was tied using the fork method (courtesy of Sandy Mathis) and adds the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Good morning peeps. I hope everyone had a nice weekend and that you have some plans for the Superbowl tomorrow. I’m going to a friends for some food and fun. I love playing along each week with the challenges, they give you a starting point and that always makes it a little easier! This weeks Mojo Monday Sketch challenge asks you to choose between round or square:

I chose to do a 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ square card. I like this size because it fits in a standard medium envelope without extra postage. I used Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Pool Party and Calypso Coral Card Stock. The great cake image and greeting are from the Love & Laughter Set in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I stamped them both in Calypso Coral Ink. The cake is mounted on Calypso Coral Card Stock and I “edged” the greeting in Calypso Coral Ink for a little dimension. For the background I used some Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder ( both FREE from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog with any $50 purchase each). I took a piece of Pool Party Card Stock and used the ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack (also FREE from Sale-A-Bration) and ran three pieces, two in Lucky Limeade and one in Calypso Coral, across. I punched out a piece of Calypso Coral Card Stock with the Small Heart Punch and used the Hearts Collection Framelits Dies to cut out a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper and mounted it on the ribbon with a Stampin Dimensional. Good Wednesday morning to everyone! I have to say that I am really liking the winter that we are having in NY. It was 56 degrees here yesterday! I’m not a fan of the cold so it works for me. This weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge is kind of neat. It is made up of four short rectangles and one long rectangle in the middle…

I immediately knew what I wanted to do. I bought the Peekaboo Frames Bigz L Die (Item # 124587) from The Holiday Mini Catalog and I haven’t used it very much. I really should use it more because you can do some neat things with it. It’s a carry over item so you can still order it. I used just two colors, Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla Card Stock and Blushing Bride Ink. I cut out four of the smallest doors from the Peekaboo Frames Die and mounted them on 1 3/4″ Vary Vanilla Squares. Then I punched out some more squares with the 1″ Square Punch and stamped the smallest hearts from the Take It To Heart Stamp Set. The sentiment on the outside and the love you on the inside of all of the doors is from the P.S. I Love You Stamp Set. Both of those sets are in the new Occasions Mini Catalog. The background was embossed with the Texturz Plates Backgrounds 1 with the Big Shot. For the perfect finishing touch a little strip of Blushing Bride 3/8″ Pleated Satin Ribbon right across the middle. I’m not a huge ribbon fan but this is really beautiful. Good morning all. I hope that everyone’s Monday was good. For this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge I finally got away from my blue and brown! I went with Very Vanilla, Rich Razzleberry, Early Espresso and Pretty in Pink.

The P.S. I Love You Stamp Set in the Occasion Mini Catalog is the perfect Valentine’s Day set. There are so many great images and phrases. I stamped the Cupid in Rich Razzleberry Ink on some Pretty in Pink Card Stock and punched him out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. He was then mounted on a die cut from the Perfect Pennants Bigz Die in Early Espresso. The Love You is stamped in Early Espresso Ink and punched out with the 1″ Circle Punch. I added a brad from the Brights Collection and popped it up on a Stampin’ Dimensional. A little Very Vanilla flag punched with the 1″ Square Punch (for the flag end) and some more Stampin’ Dimensionals finish off the greeting. I ran some Pretty in Pink Card Stock through the Big Shot and used the Texturz Plates Backgrounds 1 large polkadots to coordinate with the Brights Stack Designer Series Paper I used on the background. The Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and the Early Espresso flag punched with the 1 1/4″ Square Punch on the end completes the card. Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Good morning everyone! I hope that everyone is having a good week. For this week’s Mojo Monday sketch I went with a Valentine’s card. This week’s sketch is also one of my favorites so far.

I used some of the Love Letters Designer Series Paper from the Clearance Rack. I think it goes quite nicely with one the flowers from the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set in the new Occasions Mini Catalog. The flower is stamped in Riding Hood Red and punched out with the Blossom Punch. I also punched one out in Chocolate Chip to put behind it. I love the P.S. I Love You Stamp Set, there are so many great sayings and images. I especially love the stamp that goes with the Modern Label Punch. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the greeting for perfect placement. The 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch makes a perfect backdrop for the cute circle of hearts punched out with the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch. The 1″ Circle punch works great with the Hand Crafted Stamp and I used some dimensionals for a little pop. I am also liking the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder that I used some Crumb Cake Card Stock with it to break up the color a little. The decorative Label Punch is the perfect little addition to the the bottom of the polkadot paper. For the lower background I coordinated with the Perfect Polkadots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The perfect finishing touch, some 1/4″ Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon.
