    Hi there peeps! Week off to a good start? Did you all have a nice weekend? My Mum had a little hospital visit on Saturday, kidney stones, quite unpleasant. I had a very nice day on Sunday with Heather and George. Heather made a delicious lasagna which I have a piece of for lunch today! This is my last full week of work before my trip. I have at least one day off week for the next four weeks. I can’t believe that next week is Thanksgiving already! Where did the year go?!

    I have a non-traditional Holiday card to share with you today once again using the Simon Says Stamp Warmth Wonder Set. I stamped the flower in Simon Says Stamp Pine, Butter and Cherry Ink onto Hammermill 100lb Card Stock. It’s cut out with the coordinating dies and I cut a few extra to back it with. The background is a piece of My Colors 100lb Wildflower Honey Card Stock, I embossed it with the Simon Says Stamp Modern Loop Embossing Folder and adhered it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The tag is cut from a piece of Recollections Black 100lb Card Stock using the Simon Says Stamp Nested Tags Dies. I also cut out the reinforcement from white and tied a piece of Simon Says Stamp Black and White Bakers Twine through it before adding it to the card base with Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam Tape. To spruce it up a bit (get it, LOL!) I cut out some Recollections Green 100lb Card Stock with the Simon Says Stamp Pine Needle Cluster Dies and added them behind the flower on the tag. We need our sparkle and that comes from some Simon Says Stamp Cottontail Sequins scattered about!

    I do still really enjoy a holiday card that doesn’t use reds and greens and I LOVE that Warmth and Wonder Set!

    And it’s time to start another week! I really enjoyed my weekend! We had a nice day at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store yesterday. The Novak sisters came up to work on some projects and I introduced them to the MISTI! We have another Altenew stamping master! Renee worked on her next piece of the Home Decor project and I got caught up on some administrative things. I snuck out a little early and booked my Parent’s trip to Florida. They are going to meet my Aunt, Uncle and cousins from England in Florida. They are leaving on my birthday! Pretty messed up right?! LOL! I also made the mistake of watching the MTV VMA’s, what a horrible production! The performances were ok but the hosts and the fillers were appalling! Maybe I’m just getting old?! Anyway, today I have to start working on my cards for the September Card Class, that will be fun!

    Monday, Mojo Monday! YAY! Here is this week’s sketch…

    Oh, Tall & Skinny, love them! I started working on my card at the store and assembled it when I got home. My base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock cut to 3 1/2″ wide. The background is a piece of Solar White 80lb and that is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I added a strip of Bo Bunny Believe 12×12 Paper, with the end flagged, down the right side of the card. Across the card is a piece of Amethyst Stardream Metallic and going across that is a piece of Gold Mirror Card. I stamped my image and greeting from the Altenew Tulip Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields and Deep Iris for the tulip and Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades for the stem, the greeting is also stamped in Deep Iris. The piece is then backed with a piece of Cyber Grape and Fun Foam and adhered to the card with E-Z Runner. I adhered a few Pretty Pink Posh Pansy Purple, Gold and Lime Sorbet Sequins with Multi-Matte Medium around the tulip and the card is done! I love that beautiful layered tulip and the font in the greeting is perfect for the set! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge!     Sunday… I have to say the day now that I’m at the store 7 days a week the days just run into one another! LOL! Yesterday we had more gorgeous weather! Renee had a crop at the store so I got to chat with all the ladies! I helped Edna use her new Altenew stamps and inks, she added some flowers to a scrapbook page and they looked great! Renee brought in the delicious bagels from Miller Place and I had one for breakfast and another one for lunch! Around 4:00 I got a very nice surprise! Andrew stopped by! It was so good to see him! We chatted for a while and I showed him my part of the store. We both headed out around 5:30, Mum had text me to ask me what I wanted from the Chinese food place for dinner and I text her when I left so they could go and get it. We had dinner and Taylor and Kiera stopped by. Afterwards I helped my Dad with the retractable awning that they have on the front of the house and then ran a few errands. When I got back home I crafted for a bit and then watched a little TV. Felt so good to sit on the couch for a bit! Toady it’s just me and Angie at the store, Renee will be out East with her family celebrating her Birthday a little early! Oh, no news from on the baby front, but I’ll keep you posted! How is your weekend going?

    Today I finally remembered that I hadn’t shared the cards from the June Stamp, Ink, Paper Card Class! So that’s what I have for you today! They all use stamps and dies from the latest Lawn Fawn release. 24 people made 4 cards each! That’s a lot of cutting and I couldn’t have done it without a little help from Sue and Brian!! The mermaid one is a slider and the smoothie one is the shaker! I think that the smoothie one was the favorite! I hope that you enjoy the cards as much as the class did!
