Paper Craft Crew 255

The gloomy Tuesday morning turned into a nice day around 1:00PM! I can deal with that! I did get a few things around the house completed in the morning and then I took my MacBook and sat outside in the afternoon! I do love a little sit outside! In the evening I went over to Jim’s for some dinner and more furniture refinishing! We are working on some chairs and an end table. Pictures when we are done of course! 😀

And we are at Wednesday so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

A card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock starts off today’s card. I used the Concord & 9th Globe Greetings Photopolymer Stamp Set to heat emboss the world onto a piece of Soft Sky with Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder. The Coordinating Dies are used to cut it out. I also die cut a banner with the Concord & 9th Best Banners Dies from a piece of Black 110lb. The world is from the same stamp set and is heat embossed onto another piece of Black 110lb with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. Before I adhered the globe to the card base with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner I added a piece of Copper Washi Tape. The world’s is adhered to the globe with 3D Foam Squares and the best with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. A little cascade of Pretty Pink Posh Copper Sequins and the card is done! I love the world’s best greeting, could be anything! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Thank you for stopping by! Make sure and come back at 11:00! I will have my post for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th challenge! In the mean time enjoy your morning! 🙂

Another fabulous day! I actually ended up having a lot of stuff to do yesterday! I forgot that my car was supposed to be inspected at the end of July so I got that done… oops! I also had a few projects that I helped Jim with, keeps my mind sharp! He came by after work and we watched a movie and just relaxed. What a nice way to end a Tuesday! 😀

We are mid-week so it’s time for a new Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I can’t believe it but I couldn’t find anything more backyard BBQ than flowers! LOL! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used my Mini Ink Blending Tool to add Jellybean to the bottom and Surf Blue to the top. To mask off the areas I used a piece of Post-it Tape. My flowers are from the Simon Says Stamp Artful Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set. I atamped the flowers in Black for the outline and added the centers with Duckling. My stems are stamped in Jellybean and they are all cut out with the Coordinating Dies. The stems are adhered with Multi-Matte Medium and the flowers with 3M Foam Tape. My greeting is cut from a piece of Gold Glitter Card Stock and Black 110lb with the Simon Says Stamp Painted Summer Die. I used Multi-Purpose Spray to adhere them to each other and the card. A few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins fill in some of the space around the flowers and the card is done! I do love a nice simple crisp card, I think this one fits the bill! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you for visiting! What a productive day I had yesterday!! I got so much done in the Craft Room, so much stuff gone though and piles of things ready to go! Feels good but there is so much more to go! Hopefully today will be a repeat! Andrew was over and helped, we went out and had lunch, so good to see him! Later on Taylor came by and so did Heather. She had a nice time in Florida but was glad to be home. Today I think I have my friend Sue, she’s good at getting me motivated! 😀

I do so love a stamped background they are so much fun to make! I used the Hero Arts For You Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set and Soft Pool, Tide Pool, Mint Julep and Lime Green Ink stamped on a piece of Solar White 80lb. It’s adhered to a base of Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is from the same set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Black 110lb. Some 3M Foam Tape adheres it to the card. For a little sparkle I added some Hazel and Ruby The Makery Green With Envy and Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins! We have been very lucky with the weather lately! Another beautiful day! I did get a ton of stuff done yesterday! Spoke to my friend Greg in Indiana, worked on a few projects, made a card! I had dinner with my Parents and then Heather stopped by for a bit. Taylor came by later on and we listened to 80’s and 90’s music. I’m going to make today another get stuff done day! 😀

The card that I have to share with you today is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I used one of my new favorite sets from Concord & 9th! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Dies to cut out a piece of Desert Storm and stamped the woodgrain strip from the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Doe. The flowers and leaves are from the same set and are stamped in Sunflower and Noble Fir. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered to the card along with the Palette. I stamped the greeting, also from the same set, in Noble Fir, flagged the right end and adhered it to the card with more 3M Foam Tape. A few more flowers and a leaf are added to the left of the greeting. Some Pretty Pink Posh Lemon Sequins complete the card! I do love that palette and the bright yellow flowers! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG to get inspired and add your card to the gallery! I thank you so much for stopping by! Yup, I had a nice productive day with my friend Sue yesterday! We got a lot of things done! I had a really quick dinner with my Parent’s when I got home and then headed over to see Heather. She had to go for an eye exam so I took the ride and then we hung out at her house for a bit. A little trip to Target before calling it a night and that was my day! I’ll be spending some time in front of the computer today playing catchup today! Fun! 😀

So, it’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I have to be honest, it took me a while to find something new! When you make a card a day like I do you tend to use all of your goodies as soon as you get them! I found a Pinkfresh Studio Set that I hadn’t inked up so I used it to make a super simple card! To start I stamped my greeting From the Pinkfresh Studio So Sweet Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 100lb Card Stock. The squares are stamped next in Jet Black and the outlined ones are colored in with my Copic R27 Marker. The ink spots are also stamped in Jet Black and for a little interest I adhered a few Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets over some of them with Multi-Matte Medium. That’s it! Super simple with some pops of color! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Theme Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Hey there! Another morning that started off with some rain but then finished nice and sunny! I got a few things completed that I wanted to finish in the morning. I also got a little cleaning done! Last night I went with Heather and Stephanie to see George play softball. They lost the first game but were winning the second when we left! This morning I’m off to Manhattan again, this time to see Mary! Should be another fun day in the city! 😀

Well, let’s see… it’s Wednesday so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

Today’s card starts off with a card base of Ivory 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the Concord & 9th Barnwood Background Photopolymer Stamp in Soft Vanilla right onto the front. My ice pops are from the Concord & 9th Sweet & Cool Photopolymer Stamp Set, they are stamped in Aquatic, Crimson and Green Apple Hybrid Ink and then heat embossed with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. My sticks are cut from some leftover Kraft that I heat embossed with clear using the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Background. I adhered the sticks to the popsicles and then them to the card. I stamped my greeting, also from the Sweet & Cool Set, in Cup O Joe. A few Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets on the ice pops and the card is done! I love the effect that you get when you clear emboss over the Hybrid ink! They really do look good enough to eat! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the other cards and enter yours in the gallery! Wow! It’s Wednesday already?! We did have a very nice day here yesterday with lots of sun! I spent most of the day with Sue working on Etsy stuff. We went to Panera for lunch and I had my grilled cheese and tomato soup! In the evening Jim came by and I made us some nice big salads with grilled chicken, olives, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, croutons and blue cheese dressing. Taylor came by and chatted with us for a bit and we finished the evening off with a few YouTube videos. Today I have a lot of stuff to get done! I found out that I will be away for the weekend! WEE! 😀

It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I was going through my stamps and came across this old but goodie! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Hero Arts Wave Stencil and my Stencil Brush to apply some Tide Pool Ink to the lower left. Across the lower part is a piece of Copper Tape. My circle is cut from a piece of Blueprint Curious Metallic with the Hero Arts Circle Infinity Dies and adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. The images and greeting are from the Hero Arts July 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit. I stamped the coral and jellyfish in Tide Pool and did the second layer of the jellyfish in Copper Embossing Powder. They are cut out with the Coordinating Frame Cuts and adhered to the circle. My greeting is heat embossed onto a piece of 48lb Vellum with White Hero Arts Embossing Powder and adhered to the card with Kool-Tak Clear Foam Tape. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins and done! I still love that jellyfish, makes for a nice different image on a card! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wondrous Wednesday! 🙂

It was another hot one here yesterday but I’m not complaining! It’s supposed to be cooler today, but hopefully it won’t stay that way! I puttered around in the morning and in the afternoon I went over to Stephanie’s to dangle my legs in the pool for a while! After that I came back home and Jim stopped by around 5:00. We went next door to see my Parent’s for a bit and then ran to Lowes to look at pond stuff. A little TV before bed and that was my day! 😀

Let’s see… Wednesday and we have a new Paper Craft Crew challenge for you…

As soon as I saw this I knew exactly what I wanted to do! To create my background I stamped the images from the Concord & 9th Many Mandalas Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Aquatic and Green Apple Hybrid Ink using my MISTI onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. That is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the greeting I stamped the wishing you onto the card base in Black and then the rest is heat embossed in Hero Arts White onto a piece of Black 110lb. I cut the end on an angle and adhered it to the card with 3M Foam Tape. I hoarded some of the Pretty Pink Posh Share Handmade Kindness Sequins Mix and the colors worked perfectly with the ink so I added a few to complete the card! I love the green and blue together and the mandalas make a nice background! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Inspiration Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! I thank you for stopping by today! Have yourself a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Ahh… the middle of the week. Once again zipping by! Another cloudy, misty, rainy day here. Lots of crafting in the morning, a little TV and some planning. I got to see Daniel and Tristan for a bit. My Brother and Erika went to see a concert at Jones Beach, Erika was quite excited about the night out! Taylor came by and we hung out for a while, I love my child, she’s such a good person! Hopefully it will not be raining today and I can get outside for a bit. I think I’m suffering from Sun deprivation! 😀

So what do we have for a Wednesday post? Why this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch of course…

Nice and simple! I started my card by heat embossing the images from the Concord & 9th Many Mandalas Photopolymer Stamp Set onto 48lb Vellum and Blueprint Curious Metallic. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out and layered them on top of one another. To adhere them to my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I used some 3M Foam Tape. The happy birthday is from the same set and is stamped in Hero Arts Navy Ink onto the card base. A few sequins from the Little Things by Lucy Nautical and Brushed Gold Mixes and the card is done! I love that Mandalas set, especially heat embossed on the different papers! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG so go and check it out! Thanks so much for your visit! I wish you all a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Happy mid-week already! It was another overcast day here. It didn’t rain until much later in the day but it was cloudy all day. I did a little crafting in the morning and then ran over to Sue’s to drop off some things. I went out to lunch with her and Michael, we had Panera, it’s been forever since I’ve had that! After I got home I watched a little TV and then ran a few errands. This morning I’m going to get crafty again and get some more projects out of the way! 😀

Just as an FYI I’m taking part in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life this Saturday. I’m part of Meg’s team. My Brother lost his first wife to cancer, she was 29, and I lost one of my best friends, he was 25. We have all had cancer touch our lives in some way. Let’s help put an end to this terrible disease. If you can please click HERE to donate. Thank you!
