SUO Challenges 105

I made the best of my Monday, like I said no point in dwelling on the negative! Work just keeps getting crazier but it is what is. I just keep telling myself that it all gets better once it going home time! I made my escape and went to my parents for dinner. My little man Daniel was there cute as ever. His mom was feeding him and makes the cutest faces when he gets something that he doesn’t really like! But he still eats it and makes the face ever time! LOL! After dinner I went over to Sandy’s house for card class. It’s always a laugh and I’m usually the jokester! When I got home Taylor had stopped by and gave me some more props for my pictures, Christmas stuff which I needed. I made some coffee and sat down at the computer to catch up on comments and emails. Then I get caught up looking at stuff on-line and before I know it it’s midnight!

The post that I have for you today is for the SUO Challenges blog. The rest of the Design Team and I have created projects for this challenge which is Embellishments! What do you think that I used?! My card begins with a base of Blackberry Bliss Card Stock and my background is a piece of Pistachio Pudding, although in the pictures it looks a bit Coastal, that I adhered to the base with Stampin’ Dimensionals! I used the Striped Scalloped Thinlit to cut out some Gold Foil Sheet and adhered it to the lower half of the card with Multi-Purpose Glue. A piece of Gold Baker’s Twine helps break up the transition to the plain card stock. My tree is from the Festival of Trees Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow on Pistachio Pudding. I heat embossed the ornaments in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and punched the tree out with the Tree Punch. To back it I cut out a piece of Blackberry Bliss with the Chalk Talk Framelits and stamped a stamp from the “Vintage” Jolly Old Saint Nick Stamp Set in Encore Gold Metallic Ink. The tree and the tag are adhered to each other and the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. My greeting is from the Good Greetings Host Stamp Set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow up in top left corner. Three 2013-2015 In-Color Sequins are randomly adhered with Multi-Purpose Glue on the top right. Yes, I did use some sequins, shocking huh?! LOL! There is my Design Team card for the SUO Challenges Embellishments challenge. Take a minute and go over to the blog to see what the reset of the Designers have done and enter you card in the gallery! I hope that you enjoyed my card and that you shave a Terrific Tuesday! Thank you for your visit! 🙂

Paper Players 212

Again, the weekend was just too quick. I did have a nice one but still not long enough. Yesterday I spent some time being crafty, never a bad thing. I went over to see Kim and the munchkins for lunch and we got caught up which is always nice! I did have little bit of an issue yesterday with what we thought was my blog. Andrew text me to say that when he was looking at my post from yesterday he saw that certain words were highlighted and if he clicked on them he got a warning about a suspected phishing site. After some panic and research we found out that it was something that was actually on his computer in the browser. We found instructions on how to remove it and it wasn’t easy but we got it done in the end. So if you ever come across this issue on any web site you visit know that there is a good possibility that there might be something wrong with your computer. Why people can’t just leave the internet be is just beyond me! LOL!

While it’s Monday and I’m not happy about that I am happy that it’s time for another Paper Players challenge. This week we have a Happy Fall Y’all theme from Ann…

Paper Players #212

I don’t really want to think about cooler weather and sweaters and jackets but I guess it inevitable! My card for today begins with a base of Soft Suede Card Stock. The background is a piece of the Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper. There are some really neat patterns in that pack, I’m really loving this woodgrain one! I stamped my wreath from the Wondrous Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hello Honey and Soft Suede, the Wonderful Wreath Framelits cut it out. To back it I cut a piece of Tangelo Twist out with the Window Frames Collection Framelits and used the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack to pierce around the edge. In the middle I adhered a piece of Always Artichoke that I punched out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. My pumpkin is from the Fall Fest Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Tangelo Twist and cut out with the Fun Fall Framelits. Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere all of the pieces to the card. I wanted a little more color so I stamped the leaves from the Fall Fest Photopolymer Stamp Set in Always Artichoke and used the Fun Fall Framelits again to cut them out. They are tucked under the wreath and adhered with SNAIL. My greeting is from the For All Thing Stamp Set and is stamped in Soft Suede on Tangelo Twist and cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelits. Two more Stampin’ Dimensionals hold that in place. I’m loving the Wondrous Wreath in the fall colors and the woodgrain DSP from the Motley Monsters pack is just great! And there is my card for this week’s Paper Players theme challenge from Ann! I hope that you enjoyed it and that we can keep fall at bay for as long as possible! LOL! Thank you for checking in with me today! Try and enjoy your Monday! 🙂

Creation Station Tour – Tags and Letters

creation station header

Hello everyone! The Unite and Excite event was lots of fun! I got to see some of my friends and make new ones, too! We went to Bertucci’s for lunch afterwards and had a great time. When I got home, Andrew came by and we ran to the Apple Store to get his phone fixed. Spent some time at the house and then had Panera for dinner. Aside from the muggy and rainy weather, I’d say yesterday was a pretty good day! Here is a picture of me and Donna from the event!

Donna and Justin 9-2014

Today it’s time for the Creation Station Blog Tour! I’m hoping that you have been along for our previous ones! If this is your first time here, welcome and I hope that you find inspiration in the projects. This time around we are featuring the alphabet stamps and tags. If you are following the tour you have arrived here from Deborah Smart’s blog, clever projects, don’t you think?! I have three cards for you today. Without further ado…

My first card is a very simple and quite masculine card. It begins with a base of Basic Black Card Stock and my background is a piece of paper from the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that the “tag” stamp from the Bits and Pieces Stamp Set fit perfectly inside the Note Tag Punch. It is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Very Vanilla. I sponged some Crumb Cake on the edges and punched a hole in the top with the 1/8″ Circle Punch. A piece of Basic Black Baker’s Twine goes through the hole and some Crystal Effects hold it exactly where I want it. My greeting is from the And Many More Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelits. Some more sponging and a Silver Basic Metal Button is adhered with a Mini Glue Dot. Stampin’ Dimensionals hold the tag and the greeting to the card. A very monochromatic and masculine card.

Creation Station Blog Tour 9 - Card 1-WM

For my second card I did a holiday card. The card begins with a base of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. For the background I stamped the snowflakes from the Endless Wishes Photopolymer Set in Versa-Mark and heat embossed them with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Mossy Meadow Card Stock. My tags are punched out with the Note Tag Punch from Kraft Card Stock. I used the Little Letters Thinlits to cut out the word “JOY” from the tags and backed them with Cherry Cobbler with Stampin’ Dimensionals in between.

Creation Station Blog Tour 9 - Pic 1-WMCreation Station Blog Tour 9 - Pic 2-WM

Some Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine is thread through the tops of the tags and they are adhered to the card with SNAIL. A thin strip of Champagne Glimmer Paper goes across the bottom and finishes off the card with a little sparkle. I know it’s unlike me to make a holiday card using traditional holiday colors, but I figured once in a while, I must conform to the norm. LOL!

Creation Station Blog Tour 9 - Card 2-WM

My last card is a card I have been wanting to make for a while. It starts off with a base of Pool Party Card Stock. I used the Little Letters Thinlits to cut out two rows of letters, A-F and G-L, from a piece of Basic Black and backed the “H” and “I” with Real Red Card Stock. That panel is mounted to another panel of Basic Black using Stampin’ Dimensionals and is then adhered to the card with SNAIL. Two 1/8″ strips of Real Red go across the top and bottom and are adhered with 2-Way Glue. I like the color combination and I think the pop of red makes the “HI” really stand in the spotlight among the other letters. LOL!

Creation Station Blog Tour 9 - Card 3-WM

It makes me feel very creative when I use the same theme for three projects, and they all come out looking so different! I had fun making my cards for the Creation Station Blog Tour this time around and I hope that you enjoyed them. I’m the last stop on the tour, but if you began here, head over to Jen Arkfeld’s blog to start from the beginning! I promise, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for coming by and have a super Sunday! 🙂

Freshly Made Sketches 152

That was a busy Wednesday! Work was back to crazy, just like I like it… NOT! After work was nice though. I met Heather and we went to Chili’s for dinner. I haven’t been there since the Polar Vortex! We had the 2 for $35 dinner and margarita special. It also came with dessert and we had the peanut butter skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle! YUM! After dinner we went to Lowes to get Heather a new lock for her front door. We laughed about silly things while I installed it. It’s one of those with a keypad and the instructions aren’t very helpful but we finally got it working. I came home, had some coffee and made my card for today. A nice end to a busy day!

Speaking of my card it’s for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge and here is the sketch…

Freshly Made Sketches #152

Very simple, I like that sometimes! For my card I started with a base of Smoky Slate Card Stock and my background is a piece of Blackberry Bliss that I embossed with the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. My strip across the lower portion of the card is Smoky Slate that I punched with the Confetti Stars Border Punch. I used the Stars Framelits to cut out a piece of Silver Foil Sheet and then pierced around the edge with the Eclectic Paper-Piercing Pack. My greeting is from the Hello There Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Smoky Slate Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The Starburst Framelits are used to cut it out and it and the star are adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Simple but sweet! LOL! I like the way the Silver Foil plays off of the Smoky Slate and with all of the stars goodies we have now it’s so easy to make a fun card! And that’s my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I hope that you enjoy it! Thanks for stopping by and checking in with me, I love to see you here! Oh, by the way, I have heard from some of you that you are enjoying the new pictures. I don;t know what prompted the milk bottle, I’m just trying things out and you’ll have to let me know what you think! Have a great Thursday! 🙂

Mojo 361

Those three day weekends always just fly by, not quite as fast as the two day ones but quick none the less! I did have a very nice weekend and hope that all of you did too. Since yesterday was an “extra” day I did some things around the house, ran some errands and got caught up on a few projects. A well rounded day I think! I did also start working on my mixed media project, I’m pretty happy with the way it’s coming along. I could spend the whole day in the Stampin’ Galley and be quite content! What all did you do this weekend?

It’s Tuesday and that means that there are new specials from Stampin’ Up! Here are this week’s deals…

Weekly Deals 9-02-2014 1

Weekly Deals 9-02-2014 2

I have been on a Holiday card kick lately, I know, it’s a little early but I’m having so much fun with the goodies in the Holiday Catalog I just can’t help it! Today’s card is for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch…

Mojo361

When I looked at the sketch I knew what colors and stamp set I wanted to use, I just had to figure out how it would all come together. My card starts off with a base of Mossy Meadow Card Stock and the background is just a simple piece of Whisper White. The panel to the left is a piece of paper from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Pack. Next up is a thin strip of Silver Glimmer Paper that goes just below the center across. All of the images and greetings are from the Letterpress Winter Photopolymer Stamp Set. The panel on the right is Mossy Meadow and I heat embossed the image in Pool Party Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The circle consist of a piece of Mossy Meadow under a piece of Vellum Card Stock, both cut out with the Circles Collection Framelits, with another one of the images again heat embossed in Pool Party on the Vellum. The greeting is heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and punched out with the 1 1/4″ Circle Punch. My flagged greeting is also Vellum and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I love the Pool Party and the Mossy Meadow together, such a fun combination. I also love all of the heat embossing, it gives the card such nice texture and shine! And that’s my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I hope that you enjoyed it and will forgive my abundance of early Holiday cards! Thanks for the visit, as always! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

Paper Players 211 & The Creative Blog Hop!

Hello peeps! It’s so nice to have off on Monday isn’t it?! I am thoroughly enjoying my weekend and hope that you are too. I went into Manhattan last night for some dinner at my friends Bev and Jason’s apartment. They are the people that my friend Kim watches the dogs for when they go away for the weekend. Always a good time but a late night! Andrew retrieved me from the train station and brought me home. Such a good guy. Today I have been asked to be part of a fun little blog hop called the Creative Blog Hop. I’m honored that my friend Sandy Mathis has tagged me to participate! You may have heard about it already, but if not, it is a venue for crafters of all kinds to talk about ourselves a bit and hopefully make a few new friends along the way. Sandy has a great blog called Stamp with Sandy. She posts regularly and is quite the talented stamper and a very good friend! You can see her post for the Creative Blog Tour here and then make sure and take a look at the rest of her posts!

The hop asks us to answer four questions about ourselves so here goes!

What am I working on now?

I’m always working on lots of things at the same time! I have my weekly Design Team commitments, Blog Tours and regular posts. I’m actually starting to get interested in Mixed Media and got some supplies on Saturday so I’m going to give that a try. What doesn’t kill us makes us more creative right?!?!

How does my work differ from others?

I think that we all have a certain style of card making that we love, mine is collage. I love to see how I can get different elements to work together and look cohesive. I also enjoy lots of other styles and try to be as varied in my projects as I can. We have to keep it interesting not only for our wonderful readers but for ourselves too!

Why do I create what I do?

I started making cards as a creative outlet. I think that paper crafting is a great way to express yourself and it helps me relax. My creativity has turned into a loyal following of blog readers that I have gotten to know over the past few years and now can call them friends. So I guess the best reason that I can think of why I do what I do is to stay connected to my peeps!

How does my creative process work?

I spend a lot of time looking on Pinterest and SplitCoast. I get inspiration form the world around me too. I can be walking down the street in Manhattan and see a sign or building and that can inspire me with colors or shapes. I also am lucky in that I have a photographic memory., I can sometimes put a card together on the train on the way home or while I’m sitting at my desk at work all in my head.

Now, I am honored to get to tag two of my favorite paper crafters in the Creative Blog Hop!

Wendy Weixler

Wickedly Wonderful Creations

Wendy

I am a Stampin’ Up! demo and love using this blog as a creative outlet. I have three great kids, a wonderful husband and a houseful of pets – a toy poodle, two parakeets, and two fish!! Life is good … 🙂

I’m very lucky to have gotten to know Wendy and have spent lots of time with her at Convention and chatting on Facebook! She is a truly wonderful person that I’m happy to call my friend!

Carolyn

Hi, my name is Carolyn. I’m Mother of 2 gorgeous girls and I’ve been married for 29 years. I have a passion for paper. I started Scrapbooking in 2001 and Cardmaking followed in 2002 and quickly took over. I’ve been teaching ever since. I joined Stampin Up in May 2009 and absolutely love the products and the friendships I’m making.

Carolyn and I have become good friends even though she lives on the other side of the world! We often FaceTime and I have even been lucky enough to have received some TimTams in the mail! Love my little Aussie!

So now next Monday Wendy and Carolyn will select some more people to introduce you to so make sure that you check in with them next week!

Now on to our regularly scheduled programming! Even though it doesn’t feel like Monday it is! That’s a good thing! So if it’s Monday that means it’s time for the Paper Players challenge. This week it’s a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge from Nance…

Paper Players #211

I went with the first row down. Sometimes you just need a bright, cheerful birthday card so that what I did. The base of the card is Daffodil Delight Card Stock, I rounded the corners on it and the next layer of Pumpkin Pie with the Project Life Corner Rounder. On top of the Pumpkin Pie I have a piece of Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper that I cut out with the Project Life Card and Labels Framelits. I ran it through the Big Shot again using the Circles Collection Framelits to cut out the notch on the left side. My cupcake is from the Cupcake Party Stamp Set and is stamped in Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo and punched out with the Cupcake Builder Punch. I mounted it to a piece of Tempting Turquoise that I punched out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. It’s tucked into the notch and adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Rich Razzleberry and I again used the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits to cut it out, Stampin’ Dimensionals hold it in place too. I felt it needed a little something more so I used my Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers to color some Basic Jewels Pearls. I put some tiny ones on the cupcake and then “scattered” some around the card. Like I said, bright , cheery and simple, a great card to liven up someones birthday, don’t you think?! I hope that you enjoyed my Creative Blog Hop post and Paper Players card for today! I’m very lucky to have you all come by and visit with me, I appreciate it and it makes my days much better! Thank you and enjoy your Monday! 🙂

Paper Craft Crew 107 & The Puppies

Mid week, yes, it’s nice to be here again. My day was all sorts of fun! LOL! Not really but what can ya do?! I found that rolling with it is a much better way to go than, well, all of the other ways one could go. I try to apply that to everything in my life, but sometimes it just doesn’t work. Life is all about experiences and learning and growing from them. I am successful most of the time but there is always one that I get caught up on. I’m getting better, but there is still work that needs to be done. Sorry about that, just a little stream of consciousness that slipped out! On a happier and lighter note here is that picture of Kim with all of the puppies!

Kim & The Wuppies

Aren’t they just adorable! Yes, Kim too! LOL! Daisy is the mom and then the dad is there and the two sons. One big happy family! They do so love Kim, their favorite thing to do is sit on her!

Hmm… let’s see… Wednesday… ahh yes, it Paper Craft Crew sketch time! Here is this week’s inspiration for you…

PCCCS107 8-27-2014

I didn’t follow it exactly but I did stay pretty true to it. For my base I used a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock. The background is two different pieces of paper from the Gold Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack. I used the Striped Scallop Thinlit to cut out some Gold Foil Sheet and adhered it to the background with some Multi-Purpose Glue. A strip of Calypso Coral with a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker’s Twine covers up the seam and top of the scallop. My greeting is from the Chalk Talk Stamp Set and is stamped in Garden Green and Calypso Coral. I used the Chalk Talk Framelits and the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch to cut them out. A piece of Pistachio Pudding cut out with the Oval Collection Framelits goes behind it and all of the layers are adhered to each other and the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I love the way the scallop pattern in the DSP mimics the Striped Scallop and is seen again in the DSP on the top half. I hope that you enjoyed my eclectic Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge. Make sure that you stop by the BLOG to see more inspiration and enter your card in the gallery so I can see your take! Thank you for coming by to see what’s going on in my little corner of the world, I love having you spend some time with me! Have a wonderful Wednesday peeps! 🙂

Pals Paper Arts 216

That was a nice Friday. Work was manageable and after I came home and crafted for a bit and then watched a little TV. I needed to unwind a bit. The week was a busy one but always worth it. This morning I’m off to see my friend Kim in Manhattan, hopefully the weather with hold out. It was supposed to rain here yesterday but it was just really cloudy. They say that it should clear up around mid-day if it does rain so that’s not too bad. Kim is puppy sitting at a friends on the west side so I’m hoping that I will be able to walk across Central Park. The last time I did that was with Andrew and it was dark and a little on the creepy side! What kinds of things do you all have going on this weekend?!

I decided that today would be Pals Paper Arts day. This week they have cooked up a fun sketch…

PPA 216

Pretty simple but I had some fun with it! The card base for today’s card is Whisper White Card Stock and the background is a piece of Kraft Card Stock that I covered the entire card front with. The two panels are Whisper White on top and a piece of paper from the All Abloom Designer Series Paper Stack on the bottom. I ran a piece of Hello Honey through the Big Shot with the Hexagon Hive Thinlit and used my Paper Snips to trim away some of it to make the strip. The flower is from the Beautiful Bunch Stamp Set and is stamped in Blushing Bride on Blushing Bride, I stamped it one last time in Hello Honey on Hello Honey for the center that I cut out with my Paper Snips. I punched both of the flowers out with the Fun Flower Punch and stacked them on top of one another with Stampin’ Dimensionals.Behind the flower is a piece of Mossy Meadow that I cut out with the Flower Frenzy Bigz L Die. Finally, my greeting is from the Honeycomb Hello Stamp Set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow on a piece of Whisper White that was left over from a previous Hexagon Hive. I love that just making the center of the flower a different color makes it look much more realistic and the way that Kraft somewhat grounds everything. I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge! I love having you stop by and I hope that you have a Sumptuous Saturday! (Thanks Grace, LOL!) 🙂

Control Freaks August Blog Tour!

freakwelcome2013

Hello there and welcome to this month’s Control Freaks Blog Tour! This time around the theme is simple and elegant! If you are following along on the tour that means that you have arrived here from the fabulous Debbie Henderson’s blog! Always a treat to see what she has for us! I have two cards for you both of which you would have no trouble mailing! Let’s get to them shall we?!

Up first is a simple card that uses a fun color combo. The base of the card is Whisper White Card Stock, cut to 3 3/4″ wide, and I used the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set to stamp three of the butterflies, two in Pistachio Pudding and one in Wisteria Wonder at the bottom. A strip of Confetti Celebration Designer Series Paper goes across the lower half and is flagged on the right. A strip of Back to Black Designer Series Paper goes on top of that to the left. Three more butterflies are stamped, two in Wisteria Wonder and one in Pistachio Pudding. They are punched out with Elegant Butterfly Punch and adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. My greeting is from the And Many More Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black just under the banner. A simple elegant card that would make a nice sympathy or encouragement card.

Control Freaks August Tour Card 2-WM

The second card uses one of my favorite embossing folders but on a color I don’t think I have used it on before. My card base is Whisper White Card Stock. The background is a piece of Cherry Cobbler that I embossed with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to cover the whole card front. I took a piece of Sahara Sand and stamped the flower from the Bloom With Hope Host Stamp Set in Sahara Sand randomly to create a subtle background. Next I stamped the same flower in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it in with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers. Some Paper Snips cut it and the stem out which is colored in with my Old Olive Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers. The stem is adhered with Multi-Purpose Glue and the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next up I tied a piece of Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine in a bow around the background and over the stem. My greeting is from the Something to Say Stamp Set and is stamped in Cherry Cobbler and cut out with the Circles Collection Framelits. I used the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce the circle and them mounted it to the background with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the base to the card with some more Stampin’ Dimensionals. I love the depth that the Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers give the flower, it almost looks 3D, and the wood embossed Cherry Cobbler is pretty neat!

Control Freaks August Tour Card 1-WM

And there my two simple and elegant card for this month’s Control Freaks Tour! I really hope that you enjoyed and are inspired by them! Next up for your viewing pleasure is Dawn Olchefske! Enjoy the rest of the tour and if you started here with me make sure that you go all the way around! Thank you so much for coming by and enjoy the rest of your day! 🙂

Mojo 359

So how was Monday for you? Mine was rather productive! I love a productive day especially when it’s a Monday. The weather was little warmer here today but still very nice. Work was not too bad, again, pretty good for a Monday. I came home and had dinner with the ‘rents and then crafted for quite some time. I had mentioned that I have a bunch of projects to make and I put a pretty good dent in them last night. Makes me very happy! Tonight I will finish off the projects and then maybe tomorrow I will get to relax for a bit. That would be very nice indeed!

It’s Tuesday and that means there are some new Stampin’ Up! specials. Here are this week’s deals…

One of my projects from last night was my Mojo Monday sketch challenge card. Here is the sketch the lovely Julee Tilman has given us…

Mojo359

I used some unexpected DSP for my background. I love it when I look through a pack and get a nice surprise! My card starts off with a base of Smoky Slate Card Stock and the background is a piece of paper from the Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper Pack*. It sort of reminds me of “Bewitched”! Next up is a piece of Basic Gray that is adhered somewhat in the middle of the card. My tag is a piece of Whisper White and I cut the top with the Angled Tag Topper Punch. I used a piece of Smoky Slate and the punch again along with the 1/2″ Circle punch to create the reinforcement. A piece of Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine is tied through the top and some Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere it to the card. I used the Circles Collection Framelits to cut out a piece of Bermuda Bay for the frame and a piece of Smoky Slate for the backing. Inside are three feathers from the Four Feathers Stamp Set* that I heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Vellum Card stock and cut out with the Feathers Framelits*. I adhered them under the piece of Silver Foil Sheet that I flagged on both ends. A piece of Bermuda Bay 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon is slipped under the circle and adhered to the inside of the card with Sticky Strip. My greeting is from the A Happy Hooray Stamp Set and is stamped in Bermuda Bay and punched out with the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch. I love the colors together and the sheep of DSP from the Motley Monsters DSP is just so cool! So there is my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge, I hope that you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for hanging with me for a bit today, I always appreciate our time together! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂
