SIP Challenge 179 – Holidays!

Hey there… remember me?! LOL! I have been away for a bit but I have a few things to post this week so hopefully you’ll join me! Got a little inspiration last night, finally! I have been keeping busy helping my friend Kelly redo her bathroom and spending time with the kiddos! Over the weekend I went into Manhattan with Jim, Kim, Brian, Izzy, Kevin, Krissy and Brooke to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. It was great and we had so much fun! This weekend I have a Holiday party to go to, that should be a good time! My tree is up but I haven’t done any shopping! Gotta get on that! How are your Holiday plans going?! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday so time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I used a new stamp set and an older one from Concord & 9th to make a fun simple card! I started by stamping the face and greeting from the Concord & 9th Winter Wear Photopolymer Stamp Set onto a piece of Solar White 80lb in Amalgam Ink using my Mini MISTI so I could stamp it twice. On a separate piece I stamped the scarf. The images are colored in with Copics, mine are in desperate need of refills and new nibs as you can see from the shading! The scarf is cut out with the coordinating Concord & 9th Winter Wear Dies. My snowflakes are from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Merman Ink. I adhered the stamped panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and added the scarf with Thin 3D Foam Squares. For a little sparkle I added Hero Arts Clear Gems to some of the snowflake centers and used Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Brush Pen over the scarf! A fun card that would be easy to mass produce! Stamp some and take markers or pencils with you and color on the go! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Holidays Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you so much for spending some time with me today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 175 – Gratitude!

Hello my friends! It was a dreary Monday and that has continued into a dreary Tuesday. A good day to stay in and get some stuff done around the house. The kiddos are off from school and wanted to spend the day at my parents so I’ll have them tomorrow. I did go over and have breakfast with them this morning. Now to get some stuff done here! πŸ˜€

Tuesday and that means that it’s time for another Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I felt like doing some heat embossing so I did just that… and a lot! My background is created using the Concord & 9th Deck the Halls Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp. I put it into my MISTI and used Versa-Mark to stamp it each time onto a piece of Grey 110lb Card Stock. It’s coated with Hero Arts Gold, Platinum, Copper and Brass Embossing Powder and heat set then trimmed to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. My card is a piece of lighter Grey 110lb Card Stock and I adhered the background to the front. For my greeting I used the Concord & 9th Grateful Leaves Dies to cut out the grateful from three pieces of Grey 110lb. They are adhered to each other with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Before adding it to the card I used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to add some sparkle. A pretty simple card with a big impact thanks to all of that metallic embossing powder! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Gratitude Challenge! Check out the rest of Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share your take with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

Fab Friday 149

Hello friends and a very happy Friday to you! I had a nice day yesterday tile shopping with my friend Kelly. We picked out the shower, wall, floor and shower pan tile for her new bathroom and stopped at Chick-fil-a for lunch. After that I cleaned a little and watched some movies for the rest of the night. I’m off to see the kiddos and my windshield is being replaced today. Tristan and I will hit up McDonald’s for lunch later… if she’s good! LOL! πŸ˜€

On another fun note it’s time for a new challenge over on the Fab Friday blog…

I was inspired by this card that Debby Hughes had done the other day. I loved the colors that she used and I just felt like stamping a background myself! I used the Hero Arts Color Layering Grateful Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set andΒ Soft Pool, Wet Cement, Pumpkin Pie Dye and Mulled Wine Hybrid Ink along with my Mini MISTI so I could stamp the images more than once to make them nice and crisp. The veining in the leaves is all stamped in Cup O Joe and then the background is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is cut from Gold Glitter Card with the Hero Arts Thank You Pair Fancy Dies. I added it to a circle cut from 65lb Vellum using the Hero Arts Circle Infinity Nested Frame Cuts Dies with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. The circle is then adhered to the card with thin slivers of 3M Foam Tape. A little bling was needed in the form of Little Things by LucyΒ Shimmering Pool Jewels and The Colors of Fall Sequin Mix! Love the colors of the leaves! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG for more inspiration and share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your Friday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 173 – Plaid!

Hello my friends! How was Monday? Mine was not great. I had a small boulder hit my windshield and put a giant circle like crack right in the middle. That’s going to be a pretty penny to replace. I tried to call the company who’s truck it came off of and they didn’t even answer the phone. It’s always something. Tristan was a beast for the first few minutes when I got there but she settled down eventually. Daniel was an angel as always. I got a caught up on a few things while Tristan napped and then did a little laundry when I got home. Taylor stopped by and we ran to Target. Back with the kiddos this morning! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I went super simple, just stamping! To create my background I used the Concord & 9th Happy Plaids Photopolymer Stamp Set and some Ballet Slippers and Minty Fresh Ink. I stamped the pattern with a block and added it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The snowflake is stamped in Ballet Slippers and the greeting in Minty Fresh, they are from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Photopolymer Stamp Set, using my Mini MISTI so I could stamp the greeting a few times to make it a little darker. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out and then added it to the card with 3M Foam Tape. That’s it! Simple and very non traditional colors, my fave! LOL! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Plaid Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG and we hope that you will play along with us! Thanks for visiting with me today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

Paper Craft Crew 311

I’m back! LOL! I had a nice day with the kiddos. Daniel is always a pleasure and Tristan settled down early this morning which is always a treat! After we put Daniel on the bus Tristan and I went to Aldi and Hobby Lobby. Having Hobby Lobby so close to my Brother’s house is not a good thing! LOL! I’m off to Manhattan this morning to see my friend Ella for a bit and then who knows! πŸ˜€

It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I have been wanting to play with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and the Stamptember Set that I got so that’s what I did! The image is from the Simon Says Stamp & Altenew Dainty Spring Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Amalgam Ink onto some Bristol Smooth Card Stock using my Mini MISTI so that I could stamp it a few times and make sure that it was nice and crisp! The image is then colored in with Zig Markers and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I adhered it onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with 3D Foam Squares. My greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Amalgam. Some Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst and Marigold Sequins complete the card. I do like the Zig Markers but I need some more time to play with them and get used to them! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! Check out the rest of the Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share yours with us in the gallery! Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you all enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 172 – Sketch!

Monday done! How did you all fare?! I did pretty good. Daniel was good as always and Tristan wasn’t the little she devil that she has become! LOL! It was rainy here most of the day yesterday but should be nice today. I snuck into Manhattan on Saturday to go and see my friend Kim and then went to October Fest at the Firehouse with Kim and Brian. Saturday was the first day that I wore pants since April!! I’m not liking that fact! It’s getting chilly and that means that my least favorite season is coming! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

My card is super simple! I used the Concord & 9th Snowflake Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp and some Soft Pool Ink with my MISTI to create my background. I stamped each turn twice to make the ink a little more intense. My greeting is from the same set and is heat embossed in WOW! Rich Pale Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Vellum. To cut it out I used the Concord & 9th Lovely Blossoms Dies. I adhered my background to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and then added the sentiment with teeny tiny pieces of 3M Foam Tape. All that was left was to add a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins. Like I said, simple but the heat embossing gives it a little oomph! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Fab Friday 148

Hello peeps and a very happy Friday to you! I have had a somewhat productive week. Got some projects finished and thought of some new ones to start. I’m off to see the kiddos this morning. Daniel has a bit of a cold a hopefully little miss Tristan will be in a good mood! She is in the terrible twos for sure! If she’s good we’ll be bad and go to Mc’D’s for lunch. πŸ˜€

Time for a new challenge over on the Fab Friday blog…

Most people see Halloween, not me! LOL! I dug out some oldies but goodies to make my card. It all started with the Simon Says Stamp Eliza Snowflake Die cut from some Purple Glitter Paper. I watched one of Kristina Werner’s Holiday card series videos and she made a gorgeous card with all different snowflakes cut from glitter paper. I would like all of the new snowflakes that Simon Says Stamp has released! I do love a snowflake and their ones are great! I happened to remember that there was a stamp set called Holiday Envelopes Sentiments that coordinated with the Eliza Snowflake Die. I stamped the snowflakes in Sugarplum and Carrot randomly onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Black Licorice. I adhered the snowflake with Glue Tube. A little sparkle was needed so I added Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst and Silver Sequins and the card is done! A very simple card with really non-traditional Holiday colors, but you all know that I like that! LOL! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Color Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Thank you for spending some of your Friday with me! Enjoy the rest of your day and have a fabulous weekend! πŸ™‚

Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Layers!

I’m back! LOL! Here with my post for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th. This time we have a Layers challenge…

Lately I have been really into more clean cards but who doesn’t love a few layers to give a little wow to your project?! I started my card by stamping the Deck the Halls Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp in Lime Green, Soft Cantaloupe, Tide Pool and Soft Granite Ink onto a piece of Solar White 80lb with my MISTI. It’s trimmed to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. My greeting is from the Very Merry Sentiments Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of Vellum. I wrapped it around the stamped panel and added it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For my tag I used the Holiday Cheer Tags Dies and some more Solar White 80lb. I also used the ornament die to cut out the negative from the center of the tag holder. Onto the tag I stamped the ornament from the Holiday Cheer Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set in Lime Green and added the topper cut from a piece of Galvanized Curious Metallic. A piece of American Crafts Lime Green Twine is tied through the top and the tag is added to the card. It needed just a little sparkle and to take care of that I scattered some Little Things by Lucy Shimmering Pool Gems.

I love the colors and the pop of the white tag and sentiment against the bright background! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Layers Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG so head on over and check it out! We hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks for coming by again today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 171 – Fall Florals!

Hey there everyone! I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend! Mine was great up in PA! We all had a blast with deck parties and dinners. We really made sure that the technical last weekend for the season was a great one! We also left early yesterday and really didn’t hit much traffic on the way home which is always the best way to finish a long weekend. I’m off to see the kiddos today, what are you up to?! πŸ˜€

I will have two posts for you today and my first one is for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I haven’t used my COPICS in a long time and I just felt like coloring so I stamped the large floral spray from the Concord & 9th Grateful for Everything Photopolymer Stamp Set in Amalgam Ink and set about doing some really simple COPIC coloring. Once I was finished I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. My card base is 8″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and folded in half. The sentiment is from the Concord & 9th Just Because Photopolymer Stamp Set and is also stamped in Amalgam Ink onto a piece of Desert Storm 80lb and attached it to my card base with E-Z Runner Ultra Strong. My floral spray is added with the same. To give it a little extra I used my Stylus and some Forever Green Ink to add dots around the image. I love the simplicity and the bright pop of the flowers! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG to see the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for stopping buy this morning! I’ll be back before lunch with my Design Team post for the new Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th challenge! I hope that you’ll come back for that! Until then, enjoy your morning! πŸ™‚

Paper Craft Crew 309

Ahh, halfway through the week! My brother is away this week so I have had the kiddos longer than usual. But they really are so good so I don’t mind at all. I’m off to PA for the long weekend early tomorrow morning. Last trip of the season which is a bummer. But we’ll make the most of it! Can’t wait to be in the country air again! πŸ™‚

Wednesday means it’s time for a new challenge over on the Paper Craft Crew blog…

I’m really loving navy lately! I started my card by adhering a piece of Silver Glitter Card to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Next I used the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Dies and the circle from the Concord & 9th Globe Greetings Dies to cut out the negative of the small snowflake from a piece of Blueprint Curious Metallic and adhered it to the card with 3m Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Simon Says Stamp Ultra Fine Steel Navy Embossing Powder onto a piece of Galvanized Curious Metallic and then trimmed into to strips. They are adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape and E-Z Runner. A few Little Things by Lucy Nautical Sparkle Sequins and Pearls complete the card! Love the negative snowflake in the circle and the sparkly silver background! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Check out the rest of the Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share your take with us in the gallery. Thanks for visiting with me! Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! πŸ™‚
