Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Floral!

Happy mid-week! The weather has finally gotten a little more Spring like here on Long Island and I’m loving it! I have been making sure that I spend a lot of time outside! Even it’s just sitting in the backyard doing a little reading. Speaking of reading I have read 6 books in the past three weeks! I got a Kindle Paperwhite and am loving it! The series that I just finished is called Breakthrough by Michael Grumley. It was fantastic and I highly recommend it! I also bought a Pallet Buster to easily take apart pallets for some projects. Another highly recommended item! 😀

It’s release day over at Concord & 9th so that means that it’s time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

I have been on a wreath kick lately, they make such a nice focal point for a card and they aren’t just for the Holiday’s anymore! I began by stamping the wreath from the Concord & 9th Magnolia Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set in Freshly Cut Grass and Jalapeño using my Mini MISTI. I then stamped the greeting from the same set in Black Licorice. For the flowers I used the Coordinating Die Set to cut them from some 65lb Rose Quartz Stardream Metallic. To adhere them to the card I used Mini Glue Dots and added a Basic Jewel Rhinestone to the center of each of them for a little sparkle! Another simple card! I do love the metallic look of the flowers, adds a little something extra don’t you think?!

I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Spring Challenge! We hope that you will take some time to share your creation with us! Head over to the BLOG for more inspiration! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! Thanks for starting your week off here with me! Have a marvelous Monday! 🙂

Happy Everything Wreath – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th

Hello! Remember me?! It’s been a while! I have been keeping myself pretty busy doing all sorts of things. Crafting unfortunately has not been one of them! While you are reading this I will be in PA with Jim opening up the Lake House for the Summer season! Oh how I have missed it! Some peace and tranquility for a few days! I’m also really looking forward to the warmer weather! I did go into Manhattan on Thursday to see my friend Ella. It was 92 degrees! A nice little prelude of what’s to come! 😀

Today, It’s time for my May Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I love that Wreath Turnabout Stamp Set, so many color possibilities and so simple to use!

I started my card with a piece of Solar White 80lb cut to 4″ x 4″ and placed it in my Mini MISTI. I used the alignment guide to align the wreath from the Concord & 9th Wreath Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp Set and stamped it in Ballet Slippers, Freshly Cut Grass, Hippo and Merman. Next I heat embossed the greeting from the same set in Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder onto a strip of 65lb Vellum. Some E-Z Runner Ultra Strong adheres the strip around the back of the stamped panel. The panel is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock cut to 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ and folded with E-Z Runner and Fun Foam. For a little more sparkle I added some Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins and the card is done! I do love that wreath and the simple greeting!

I hope that you like the card for my May Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on May 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Spring!

Hello and a very happy Monday to you all! Did you have a nice weekend?! Mine was pretty good. Friday night at Brian and Kim’s was a lot of fun. It was nice to see everyone! Saturday I worked on some projects and then Sunday I sort of took it easy. The weather was pretty nice, although I’m still waiting for Spring! It’s not here yet and I saw this morning that there may be more snow later in the week! Winter just seems to have forgotten that’s it’s overstayed its welcome! 😀

It’s release day over at Concord & 9th so that means that it’s time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

To me Spring means nice bright colors and lots of flowers. But it also means that wedding season is starting. I decided to make a pretty simple card that would be perfect to give to the new couple! To start I heat embossed the large floral from the Concord & 9th Wonderful Florals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Ivory 110lb Card Stock. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die and added to a card base of Ivory 110lb with 3M Foam Tape. The letters are cut out with one of the other Dies in the set from Silver Glitter Card and adhered to the floral panel with more 3M Foam Tape. Nice and simple but with lots of bling! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Spring Challenge! We hope that you will take some time to share your creation with us! Head over to the BLOG for more inspiration! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! Rainbow Unicorn Birthday – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Almost to the weekend! Yay! It’s chilly here on Long Island again, where oh where is Spring?! I have been keeping really busy with lots of projects, sometimes a little too busy but it does make the days go by quick! Everyone by me is doing well. Jim and I will be going over to Brian and Kim’s tomorrow evening for a little get together. Their house is finished so there is a nice big space for us all to hang out in! It will be fun to see everyone, just like old times! 😀

Now, It’s time for my April Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I used a new set and an older one that I thought were made for each other!

I started by stamping the rainbow from the Concord & 9th Rainbow Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sugarplum, Fish Tank, Jalapeno, Sunflower, Carrot and Lobster Ink using my MISIT so I could easily line up the individual stripes. The greeting is then stamped in Jet Black. My unicorn is from the Concord & 9th Unicorn Awesomeness Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Jet Black and colored in with Copics. I added some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen to the mane and tail and then used the Coordinating Dies to cut him out. For the clouds I used one of the dies from the Rainbow Wishes Die Set and cut the clouds out from Silver Glitter Card. They are adhered to the card with E-Z Runner and trimmed. All that was left to do was to add the unicorn with 3M Foam Tape and the card is done! Who doesn’t like a card with a  rainbow and a unicorn?!

Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Sketch!

Happy Friday! I have had a busy week! Lots of projects to get done and I watched the kids twice including today! I do love to be busy, it gets your mind off of all the other little things that nag at you. I hope that you all are doing well! 😀

It’s time once again for another challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog and this month we have a sketch…

I went nice and simple and used an old favorite and a new one! My flower is from the Concord & 9th Pretty Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed the center layer in Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder onto a piece of Light Grey 110lb using my Mini MISTI so that I could stamp it twice to get a nice even coat! It’s then cut out with the Coordinating Die. My greeting is cut from a piece of Shadow Curious Metallic using the Concord & 9th Fabulous Phrases Dies. I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to add it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and some 3M Foam Tape to add the flower. A Large Pearl in the center of the flower competes the card. Nice and simple and it work for a sympathy card, one card I don’t like to make. Magnolia Thanks – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Hello strangers! LOL! I have had the pleasure of spending a few days in Brunswick, Georgia at my friend Kim’s Sister’s house. I got out of New York just in time leaving on Thursday before the storm hit. The weather here has been lovely, sunny and in the high 60’s to low 70’s. We went to St Simon’s Island, the Okefenokee Swamp Park and Savannah. I have been taking lots of pictures and have a few to share with you…

One of the giant Oak trees in the sub-division where I stayed

I’ll have more pics to share with you later in the week! Sadly we are flying home later on today but I have missed a certain someone a lot and will be happy to see them! 😀

It’s time for my March Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I combined a few sets to make a simple card.

I started by stamping the watercolor strip from the Concord & 9th Seasonal Borders Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock down the left side. Next I stamped the wreath from the Concord & 9th Magnolia Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set in Jalapeño and Noble Fir using my Mini MISTI. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die and adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. For my greeting I used the thanks die from the Concord & 9th Fabulous Phrases Dies to cut out a piece of Gold Mirror Card and a piece of Solar White 110lb. They are adhered to each other with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. To adhered it to the wreath I used Multi-Matte Medium. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Sea Breeze and Gold Sequins on the wreath and the card is done! I love that wreath!

Puffy Hearts – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Hello my peeps! I completely spaced on my Fab Friday card last week! That never happens! Like I have said my Mojo has been playing hide and seek with me lately. I have a lot going on and just can’t seem to focus! Trying to get back into the groove!! I promise! The weekend was fun none the less! On Saturday Jim and I took Daniel and his nephews Bobby and Jack to see the Monster Truck show. The kids had a great time and we also enjoyed it! After the show we all came back to my house and had pizza. Yesterday I did get a few cards made and then went over to Heather’s for the Super Bowl with Steph. I thought that the halftime show lacked some wow factor but wasn’t bad. My Mum is in a rehab facility for her recovery and isn’t happy about it at all. Hopefully she will be home soon. This morning I’m off to watch Daniel and Tristan. Not a bad way to start off the week! 😀

It’s time for my February Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I played around with some love themed goodies for my card! One from the January release and one from the December release!

My card starts with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the We R Memory Keepers Dotted 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the puffy hearts onto a piece of Gray 110lb Card Stock and adhered it to my card base. The strip going down the left side was created using the Heart Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp with Ballet Slippers, Merman, Hippo and Doe Ink. I stamped the solid and love images from the Love You So Photopolymer Stamp Set in Ballet Slippers and Doe. The Coordinating Dies cut it out and some Fun Foam and E-Z Runner adheres it to the card. Simple with some fun colors!

I hope that you like the card for my February Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on February 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! I have so many from them so I went back through my emails and found my very first order from August of 2015! Saving all of those emails finally paid off! LOL! Here is this month’s challenge badge…

The very first set that I got was the Being Classy Photopolymer Stamp Set! My card is nice and simple and uses just the stamp set and Coordinating Dies! I stamped the thoughtful in Fresh Lavender, Grape Soda and Sugarplum onto card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with my MISIT. The you’re is stamped in Sugarplum at the top. On another piece of Solar White 110lb I stamped the thoughtful again in Sugarplum and Versa-Mark. It’s then heat embossed with Hero Arts Sparkle Embossing Powder and cut out with the Coordinating Die three times. The dies cuts are adhered to each other and to the card with Multi-Matte Medium. Another very simple but fun and easy to mass produce card!

Simple Love – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Hello again!! I’m about to go outside and see if can dig out my car and get the heck out of this house!! I have a touch of cabin fever from being home all day yesterday! It’s time for my January Solo Post here on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! The next big card making holiday coming up is Valentine’s Day so I figured that I would get a jump on making some cards for it! I’m really loving the Concord & 9th Love You So Stamp Set, perfect for just such cards!

For my card base I trimmed a piece of Gray Card Stock to 11″ x 3 5/8″ and folded it so it was 5 1/2″ tall. Using my MISTI I stamped the LOVE from the Love You So Photopolymer Stamp Set in Wet Cement down the left side. For my greeting and hearts I used the Love Always Frame Dies to cut out some Classic Cherry and Solar White 110lb. They are adhered to the card base with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. A nice simple card with some stamping and a few die cuts!

I hope that you like the card for my January Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Anything Goes!

Hi peeps and a good Saturday to you! We are supposed to be getting snow today, I sure hope that they are wrong about that! It’s way too early for the white stuff! I’m popping in with a weekend post because we have a new challenge starting over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog today…

What a nice challenge to end the year with!! My card begins with a piece of Solar White 80lb. I stamped the LOVE from the Concord & 9th Love You So Photopolymer Stamp Set in Narwhal, stamping it off. The arrows are stamped in Merman. Onto another piece I stamped the solid LOVE in Merman and used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. From a piece of Classic Cherry Card Stock I cut out the LOVE and three arrows. My background is adhered to card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb., the Merman “stamp” with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner, the LOVE, slightly offset, with 3M Foam Tape and the arrows with Multi-Matte Medium.
