Thanks Peach – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Hello peeps! It’s been a while I know! I hope that you all have been well. I’m enjoying my Summer and hope that you all are too. Not too sure what I’m up to today but it’s supposed to be in the 90’s so maybe a trip into the city?! πŸ˜€

It’s time for my August Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I love the new Dip Dyed Cards and Envelopes that Concord released last month so I used one to make my card for today! I started by heat embossing the thank you from the Triple-Step Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of Iridescent Vellum using my Mini MISTI and then cut it out with the Coordinating Dies. The peach is from the same set and is stamped in Carrot and Cranberry for the peach and Noble Fir for the leaf. The Coordinating Dies cut that out too. I stamped the you’re a peach in Peacock and then used 3M Foam Tape to adhered the thank you and the peach to the card base. Don’t those Dip Dyed cards make cool backgrounds?!

I hope that you like the card for my August Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on August 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! We will also be helping celebrate Concord & 9th Birthday this month with posts featuring the NEW release every Friday! Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your Thursday!! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 158 – Christmas in July!

Hello peeps! Just popping in with a quick post for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge. The actual Stamp, Ink, Paper site is having major issues this morning so the post won’t be up for a little while. But the Design Team has all of their posts up and I’ll link to them below! Now for this week’s challenge badge…

I used some old and new sets from Concord & 9th for my card. To start I heat embossed the lightbulb from the Concord & 9th Shine On Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder onto a piece of Gold Metallic 27lb Vellum. The top of the bulb is also heat embossed in Silver onto a piece of Ionized Curious Metallic. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. Onto a piece of Solar White 80lb I heat embossed my greeting from the Concord & 9th Ornamental Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder using my Mini MISTI so that I could do it twice to make it a little brighter. The background with the greeting is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 100lb Card Stock. I added the bulb with 3M Foam Tape and then a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins complete the card. I do love the simplicity and metallic elements on the card! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Once the BLOG is up I hope that you will check out the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

City Welcome – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Hello peeps! I hope that you all had a safe and happy 4th of July! I went out to my friend Carol’s and got to see a bunch of friends that I haven’t seen in a while which is always a good time!

It’s time for my July Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! You know that I love a little cityscape and the new City Stacks Stamps and Dies are perfect for making a little scene!

I started by heat embossing the buildings from the Concord & 9th City Stacks Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder onto some different shades of Grey 110lb Card Stock. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. For my card base I blended Hero Arts Soft Pool Ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to create a subtle sky. I wanted to make the card easy to mail so I added the different building to the card front with E-Z Runner. The welcome is cut from Silver Glitter Card and adhered to the bottom with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Pretty simple but I do love the different “streets” of buildings!

I hope that you like the card for my July Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on July 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! Fab Friday 139 – Sketch!

Happy Friday! I had a fun week. I went into Manhattan on Monday and stopped by The Ink Pad to see Anna and then headed uptown to se my friend Jim. I has been back to cooler weather here, I guess the Summer will show up eventually! This weekend I’m taking a ride up to PA with Kim to do a few errands for Jim. Should be a fun day! πŸ˜€

It’s time once again for a new Fab Friday challenge…

A nice simple sketch! I started my card by heat embossing the heart from the Concord & 9th Geode Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Glitter Embossing Powder onto a piece of Iridescent 53lb Vellum. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also heat embossed the greeting in same powder onto a strip of Black 110lb. For my card front I used the We R Memory Keepers Gemstone Next Level 3D Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Black 110lb. That is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I added some foam tape to the back of the greeting and hid some behind the heart to attach it to my card base. I love that Gemstone Embossing Folder and thought that it looked pretty cool with the Geode Heart! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Thanks for spending some of your Friday with me! πŸ™‚

Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Spring!

Hello and a very happy Monday to you all! Did you have a nice weekend?! Mine was pretty good. Friday night at Brian and Kim’s was a lot of fun. It was nice to see everyone! Saturday I worked on some projects and then Sunday I sort of took it easy. The weather was pretty nice, although I’m still waiting for Spring! It’s not here yet and I saw this morning that there may be more snow later in the week! Winter just seems to have forgotten that’s it’s overstayed its welcome! πŸ˜€

It’s release day over at Concord & 9th so that means that it’s time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

To me Spring means nice bright colors and lots of flowers. But it also means that wedding season is starting. I decided to make a pretty simple card that would be perfect to give to the new couple! To start I heat embossed the large floral from the Concord & 9th Wonderful Florals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Ivory 110lb Card Stock. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die and added to a card base of Ivory 110lb with 3M Foam Tape. The letters are cut out with one of the other Dies in the set from Silver Glitter Card and adhered to the floral panel with more 3M Foam Tape. Nice and simple but with lots of bling! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Spring Challenge! We hope that you will take some time to share your creation with us! Head over to the BLOG for more inspiration! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! Thanks for starting your week off here with me! Have a marvelous Monday! πŸ™‚

Paper Craft Crew 284

Well, we had our snow yesterday. Some places got 2 inches and some places got 11 inches! Thankfully we only got about 4 inches and most of it is gone off of the roads. I managed to get all of my laundry done and a few projects finished. Taylor stopped by in the evening and then I finished off the day with a little TV. This morning I’ll be doing some stuff on the computer and following up on some things. I have a meeting later for the charity event that we are planning with Jim and Laura. A busy day just like I like them! πŸ™‚

Today I have my card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge to share with you…

A good sketch for some fun layers! To start my card I stamped the flowers from the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sugarplum using my Mini MISTI so that I could double;e stamp them. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies. The leaves are cut from Noble Fir and Solar White 80lb using the Just Because Dies. I added the flowers and leaves to a tag that I cut from a piece of Desert Storm 80lb with the tag die from the Concord & 9th Sprinkles Tag Dies. Next I stamped the JUST from the Concord & 9th Just Because Photopolymer Stamp Set in Black Licorice. The because is also from the Just Because Die Set and is cut from Black 110lb and adhered to the tag with Multi-Matte Medium. Onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I put a strip of 3M Post-it Tape across the lower half and stamped the outline leaves from the Just Because Set in Noble Fir. A strip of Cosmic Grape goes across along the top of the stamping. Down the right side is a strip of Medium Grey 110lb with the leaves heat embossed in Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder. All that was left to do was to add the tag with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner! It’s been a while since I have made a card with some layers, I missed it! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks you paying me a visit today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! πŸ™‚

Fab Friday 131

And a happy Friday to you! I was over watching Daniel and Tristan again yesterday. Tristan has given up on her naps, maybe she just likes to spend time with me?! LOL! We had fun as always, she is such a smart little girl! After work Jim came by and we had a little dinner and watched TV. Nice to relax for a bit! This morning I have a lot of computer stuff to get finished and a little cleaning and laundry to do. Not sure what’s on for the weekend but hopefully something fun will materialize! πŸ˜€

It’s time once again for a Fab Friday challenge…

I do enjoy a nice simple sketch! Onto my card base of Ivory 110lb Card Stock I added a piece of patterned paper from the Pebbles Yours Truly 6×6 Paper Pad down the right side flagging the bottom. My ampersand is from the January 2018 My Monthly Hero Kit and is cut from apiece of Classic Cherry. I added some sparkle with my Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen to bring out the detail, you can see it much better in real life! It’s adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. My you and me is from the stamp set in the Kit and is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto more Classic Cherry. I cut them out and added them to card with more 3M Foam Tape. A few of the sequins from the Kit are added and the card is done! Nice and simple, a good way to spread a little love anytime of the year! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG to see more inspiration and enter your card in the gallery! Paper Craft Crew 279

Hello and a happy Wednesday to you all! I got sidetracked yesterday morning. I ended up helping out with some projects for a friend and then headed over to see Sue for Etsy stuff. After that I went to see my Mum. She is not a happy camper and is in a lot of pain. But she is walking and doing all of her therapy, I think that she wants to get out of there as soon as possible! After that I came home and Taylor stopped by. We had a little dinner and watched TV. She left around 7:00 and I did a few things around the house and actually watched This is Us. I usually wait until the next day so I can watch it on Hulu without the commercials but I needed to see it! What did you all think of the last two episodes? This morning I’m off to The Ink Pad to cover the Store for Anna for a little bit. I hope that I remember how the register works! LOL! πŸ˜€

I did manage to get a quick card made last night for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I immediately thought of the December 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit. The card started out as something completely different than it finished as though! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the We R Memory Keepers Next Level 3D Gemstone Embossing Folder on a piece of Black 110lb Card Stock and adhered it to the front of my card base. The Martini and lemon twist are from the Hero Arts Martini Fancy Die. I cut the Martini from 65lb Vellum and the lemon twist from Gold Mirror Card. My greeting is from the December 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit and is also cut from Gold Mirror Card. A few strategically placed dots of Multi-Matte Medium adhered all of the pieces to the card. I was going to add a few sequins but I didn’t want to take away from the really cool embossed background! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Theme Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG so stop by and take a look! we hope that you will enter your card in the gallery and share your take with us! Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 134 – Colors!

TGIF peeps! I have had a busy week, sorry for being MIA again! Tuesday I had the kiddies, always a good time! Wednesday I went into Manhattan to see Anna, I’m going to be helping her out with some things for the store which will be fun! I miss my store and have always loved The Ink Pad. It will be good to get involved and crafty again! Jim came by in the evening and we watched some TV. Yesterday I was just busy with all sorts of things all day so last night I needed a little more down time and that resulted in a trip to Heather’s for Thirsty Thursday! Taylor came by too! This morning I’m off to get my haircut and then lots more stuff to get finished! Not quite sure what’s on for the weekend yet but hopefully it will be fun! πŸ˜€

I missed posting my card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge. There are still a few days left to play and I would love to have you join us! Here is this week’s challenge badge…

While I was at The Ink Pad I picked up a die that I have wanted for a while and I had to use it on my card! The die is the Hero Arts A Bit of Handmade Kindness Fancy Die and I cut it out from some Gold Mirror Card. My roses and leaves are from the Hero Arts Color Layering Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers in Soft Pink, Quartz and Raspberry Jam and the leaves in Moss and Lime Green. They are all cut out with the Coordinating Dies and added to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with E-Z Runner and 3M Foam Tape. The die cut greeting is adhered with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive in the upper right. It needed some more sparkle so I added Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins around the flowers cluster. A little bunch of roses along with that greeting is sure to brighten someones day don’t you think?! I hope that you like my very late Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Challenge! Over on the BLOG you can check out the rest of the Team’s cards and see the fantastic ones that are already in the gallery! Thanks for coming by and I wish you all an incredible Friday! πŸ™‚

Fab Friday 129

Ahh… Friday! I had quite the busy day yesterday and I did manage to get a lot accomplished! Got a few orders packed up and sent out, spoke to a few peeps, ran some errands. Jim came by after work and we had Zorn’s for dinner and then watched TV. This morning I have some crafty projects to work on and a few other things to take care of. I think that I’ll see if I can go into Manhattan on Sunday and see my friend Kim, I need a little city trip and it’s supposed to be nice! πŸ˜€

Every other week we have a new Fab Friday challenge and it’s one of those weeks! Our inspiration this time is a sketch…

I wanted to do a somewhat one layer card so I took out some Grey 110lb Card Stock and cut it so I could piece it back together by adhering it to a piece of Solar White 80lb. Onto that I stamped the outline rose and leaf images from the Hero Arts Color Layering Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Granite. In the bottom right corner I heat embossed a greeting from the set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder and then adhered the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The heart die cut is from the Hero Arts January My Monthly Hero Kit and is cut from a piece of Gold Mirror Card. I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to add it to the card. I do love the subtle roses in the background and the that delicate heart is so neat! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you for stopping by to see me today! Have a fabulous Friday and a great weekend! πŸ™‚
